We used to go to the location on plaza Blvd but it closed. This place works for us because it’s closer to where we live.

Gross – as much as I like the amenities and effort of this place, the last time I was there, I was sitting on top of the folding counters, I look over to my right, and there’s a roach crawling out, ready to pray on my newly washed and dried clothes! OHHAAAEEEELLLL nah! Tried to kill it quickly, but it disappeared! C’mon Mi Lavanderia, please invest in some roach motels! That’s just nasty! Still maintaining the 3 stars for the aforementioned perks, though.

Wash yo stuff here. Bring cash and put money on a card that you refill with cash. Stuff a months worth of clothes into 23 load machines and dry them in 1. Huge place so you will ALWAYS find a machine and someones Mexican mom. So many TVs turned to many diff channels, but one is always on Nickelodian so if you are lucky you will get there during a sponge bob marathon. Bring your cell phone and play Words with Friends while you wait. My name there is rudedog224. Play me. I will destroy you.

Recently my condo’s washer/dryer unit took a dump, so for the first time ever while living in SD((9years) I have had to use laundry mats. This place used to be called Vegas Wash, I passed it on the way to drop my kids at school. It’s conveniently located on a regular path of mine, so I scoped it out. The place is huge. ALWAYS has machines available. Each washer and dryer has a picture on it so you know how many loads of clothes it can handle. The way it works, is that you have to «give a deposit» for their debit card, which you then load with money for machine use. Yeah, you get a couple bucks back if you put $ 20 on the card at once. Problem I had here was when I realized the hot load I was washing was not hot. When I pointed this out to dude, he offered to either comp my drying time or add the cost of that wasted wash to back to my card.(There wasn’t enough time to redo the load at the time, I get off work late and always get there just in time for the last load.) The kid handled it as best he could, but it sucked. It’s hard to find time to sit and rot in the laundry mat once a week, but to have to come back and do it again(the load was of sheets I use for work and had clients the next morning) ain’t appealing. There are too many other laundry mats in town to be devoted to one when there’s a good chance I won’t be getting what I’m paying for.
