Love this place! Awesome food and super friendly service. I go at least 3 – 4 times a week. Try the vegetarian breakfast sandwich on a croissant, delicious!

Tucked away in a business/condo complex(across from Living Spaces). Nice folks & outstanding espresso. They told me that the beans come from local place called Calabria Coffee. Worth a visit!

Really good lattes(try the toffee nut!), free wifi, comfy and spacious area for studying/working. Always friendly customer service. Hot breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches are always on point; they always satisfy!(The chicken pesto sandwich is delicious) Nothing bad to say about Milano.

Great coffee and fabulous sandwiches. Their Sausage, Egg and Cheese on a Croissant is highly addictive. The staff is super nice, and this place is extremely comfortable and airy. Stop in on a nice, mild San Diego early afternoon, chill out on one of their couches and enjoy the breeze.

Comfy couches and nice, unpretentious service. The coffee is good, the ambiance is better. It’s an easy place to stop by at before work or a good place to meet a friend after work. The food is yummy too… the veggie burrito is on point.

Good food and great coffee at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is very chill with good music. The couches are super comfy and clean. Great place to chill and study, work or meet a friend for coffee. It’s a quite place which is why I say«a» friend. Large groups would make it harder to focus and change the feel of the place. Highly recommend you visit for a coffee.

Great! Stopped in for an early breakfast. The veggie breakfast burrito was great! You could also order lunch in the morning, also good. There is inside and and outside seating. The inside is adorable. Comfortable couches and classy décor. Can’t wait to go back.

Nice and comfy café. Love the couches and has a relaxed feel. Coffee is decent and good price. Service is good. Only thing that kills it for me is the olden day music, twice I went and they played depressing tunes that´s surely from the 50s or before… Besides that cool place and would be great for studying(if it wasn´t for the draining music) as there´s not many nice café´s to find around Mission. Hope they update their soundtrack.

Very cute place. I like the location of it because it’s near where I live. Very quiet place to study. I love their iced coffees, especially the vanilla nut. They also have really good salads and sandwiches for lunch. The workers are always friendly!

Quiet and peaceful atmosphere; very comfortable. The couches are great! My iced coffee was delicious and inexpensive. Ample parking nearby(they will give you a pass to park in the nearby 1-hour slots that lets you stay there all day). Just a really nice pleasant atmosphere for relaxing or working.

A nice place to get a cup of coffee and a sandwich. Place is spacious and the service is pretty friendly. Plenty of spaces to sit and lounge. I ordered a hot chocolate which was very good. The turkey sandwich was very good. A lot better than I expected. I wish this place was more convenient for me.

I was down in San Diego for business staying at the Marriott Mission Valley and did a Unilocal search for coffee when Milano Coffee came up. After all, I was getting tired of the inflated $ 5 Starbucks coffee and a banana«breakfast» at the hotel. I did the 3 minute walk from the hotel to Milano and was very happy with the offering. I ended up getting a delicious turkey and egg breakfast bagel sandwich along with some delicious locally roasted french roast coffee. It was a welcome change from the hotel food. I’ll for sure go back if I end up staying down there again.

We came here for breakfast. This place seems to serve primarily the residents of the Promenade apartment complex. Thought the breakfast croissant with eggs and sausage was darned good. The sausage and egg burrito was also good too. Milano seems like a great place to quick breakfast on the way out the door. Outdoor dining too. Casual décor. Sofas as well.

I have to admit the reviews on Unilocal had kind of deterred me from trying this place out sooner, but I’m glad I finally gave it a try. Came here with a friend for a evening coffee. The place wasn’t busy so we were attended right away. The coffee was great and the set up is nice. The location was bigger than I thought it would be with ample seating.

I had to take a star away. I love the coffee here but have came into some problems lately. First, I think they have been very understaffed lately, especially in the mornings where there is only one person around opening time. This is not too big a deal unless you want food, in which case be prepared to wait 15 – 20 minutes to get it. Also, though closing time is 7:00PM, they clean the espresso machine 15 – 20 minutes early meaning they do not serve coffee pretty much after 6:30 which is kind of annoying. I would not mind if they changed the sign on the door to say closed at 6:30pm but they are loosing some money as I go to get my evening coffee fix elsewhere now after work. On a positive note, they have very good coffee and pretty good food. I am a big fan of the Tuxedo Mocha. Make sure to take advantage of their frequent buyer card for a free drinks every now and then. The employees are very kind and provide good service. Location is great in a nice apartment complex /shopping center with some nice views. I still recommend, just don’t go near closing time or opening time.

First time here… I’m impressed. The prices are decent, and the quality of the croissants are good. The cappuccino I ordered is larger than I am used to, but that’s fine. If you don’t eat pork like me, the croissant with cheddar cheese is great. And of course, you cannot go wrong with a cappuccino for $ 2.95.

If you’re looking for a chill coffee lounge to just relax and do a bit of work, this is the place to go. It’s not overly loud like the other spots in town so you’ll have an easier time concentrating on reading or studying. The drinks are ok though. Not exactly the best coffee in town but if your reason is to find a spot to just work, it doesn’t really matter. Grab a spot around one of the couches and soak away in your work! Parking isn’t a problem as there are plenty are spots all around the retail area of this apartment complex. There are plenty of weirdos that come off the trolley and hang around there but they won’t bother you too much!
