I’ve been here a few times, and they do a decent job, however, there are some issues. I also experienced the cold water, which was warmed slightly upon request. Thanks… Also the place is in need of a good clean. Technically my nails look great, but the massage left alot to be desired. I think my 3 year old could of done a better job, but I do think that’s relative to who you get. Overall, not a horrible place, but not amazing either. If your in a hurry or your regular place is to busy, your nails will look nice.

I went here despite all the reviews I read and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I will return!

Horrible service. Water was cold, no one seem to care. I would not recommend this place. They are very expensive and they don’t take credit or debit cards. My gel medi suck and they rushed me out so my pedi was messed up.

Just got home from my supposed mani/padi. My toes look ok, however my nails have a lot of room for improvement. The lady did not cut my cuticles, nor did she clean underneath my nails. I’m very disappointed, and also felt like they were very rushed. Too bad.

I’ve been getting my nails done here for the better part of 10 years. I truly think they do a very good job and are priced competitively. I have my nails done by Rose but have known Mary, Tanya and several of the other ladies for many years. Rose always does her best to accommodate my schedule and my pedicure continually lasts for a solid 5 weeks. They do a very good job at making certain the salon is clean. While I was living in Aviara, I continued to make the trek to this salon because I was unable to find the quality that this salon and the ladies provide. 5 stars!!!

Here’s my experience… –Questionable whether the supplies were properly cleaned and sanitized — felt rushed, toes were barely finished being polished and the lady was immediately putting my shoes on. She finally backed off when I asked if they could air dry — water to soak was a bit cold and yes I could have said something, but no one seemed available to help me, since they were so busy doing other things. — been here before and had a better experience in the past

So far so good! This is the third nail salon I have gone to for a fill. A week after having them done, they look significantly better than my previous experiences elsewhere. Price was good($ 30 for a fill with French tips). Clean. Friendly. Good location.

They take advantage of the location to charge way too much money for mediocre work. I got a shellac manicure, and in addition to destroying my natural nails and not even doing basic things like using cuticle cream, their ovens are so hot that my skin dried and the shellac was warped, which I noticed afterwards. $ 40 is way too much for this crappy service and low quality work.

I’m new to the area and have tried a couple nail places in the last month or so. I just went in for a pedicure and they seemed slow but they took their time getting to me. The water was cold and no one was nearby to warm it up, the tools didn’t seem newly cleaned and the attendant was rude. I won’t spend my money here again.

Very expensive and horrible services. Do not waste your money here. Pedicure Polish was uneven and rushed. They didn’t even bother to remove the nail polish prior. Go somewhere else.

STAYAWAY!!! I have been here twice. This place was close and I figured since I was in a jam I would go there and if they did a good job maybe I would change nail salons since this one would be convenient for me… my first visit I left there feeling horrible because my nails were uneven and painted even worse. Not to mention they charge alot. And then against my better judgement I went again because I was in a bind my nail lady wasn’t available for a few days and I had a nail that came off. It really was even worse experience the second time around and they charge $ 50 for shellac are you kidding me not to mention the job that they did was horrible and it lifted the next day DONOTCOMEHERE!

Just went to have only polish, since I was in a hurry. It was the worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon. The person who was assigned to me(did not inrroduce herself), had one of her«regulars» walk in as she was starting my nails. She was in such a hurry to get rid of me, it was pathetic. The polish was smeared before I even got out of there, and she did a very poor job painting. She did not cover the entire nail and she smeared all over. Unfortunately, I was also in a hurry, so I didn’t notice until I got in my car. Should have gone back, but I just wanted to get home at that point. All I can say is, I wish I didn’t tip her, and I will NEVER go back again.

I’m starting to wonder if there are any good nail salons in San Diego. I mean, it doesn’t seem like rocket science to give a good pedicure. I walked in without an appt because it was a Monday at 2:00. There was only 1 other woman client in there and 5 workers shooting the breeze. The ENTIRE time I sat in the chair, the woman doing my pedicure talked/laughed with the other women in a foreign language. It was so freaking rude. And half the time she was turned away from me, randomly scrubbing(or not) my feet. WTH? I don’t get it. Why does that seem like a good idea to any business? She did my toes half assed and left a bunch of polish on my skin. She barely scrubbed my feet. I was totally disappointed and would not bother going back. Same price as every other Asian nail place around and just as lame!

There are two nail salons within walking distance of my home… this one being the closer of the two. My first visit here was during my Spring break, to meet some girlfriends for mani/pedi’s & lunch.(yes that is what I I found out CV moms do when their kids are at school). Rundown… Smaller and less«assembly line» like than the other joint $ 30 for a mani pedi… not bad The massage chair I was in… made this awful loud noise… had to turn it off. ughhh I could walk there But the weirdest thing… I felt like I was on display… the hairs face a window and everyone who walks by is looking at you… just eerie. I would come back… not excited or dreadful of it… it is a perfectly fine place to get a last minute job done

Expensive and just so-so job. She filed some skin off of my thumbs which made it sting the rest of the time as she dunked it in different washes. $ 69 for one spa mani/pedi and one spa pedi without add-ons. Hmmmm. I feel really cheated but I didn’t want to make a fuss with my mom-in-law there.

I got my nails done here about 6 days ago. I’m not all that particular, so I usually prefer a place that’s less expensive. I was in a rush and didn’t want to drive far, so I paid $ 32 for a Mani/Pedi…pretty standard(but I try to get it done for less). Well… my nail polish STILL hasn’t chipped. And ladies, we all know that a regular manicure does not last 6 days. I don’t know if it was the lady’s skill, the scythes it was just one coat, or what… but I’m pretty happy that’s it’s lasted this long. The only drawback us that they only accept cash. At least they have an ATM in the back(but it’ll charge you $ 1.00 to take cash out).

Been here about 10 times over the last 3 years. Nice salon, nice people. Always walk in, never have to wait. Bring cash! They do not accept checks.

If you need to get your nails done in the Del Mar Highlands/Carmel Valley area, this is by far your best bet. The prices are good(cash & checks ONLY), the staff is friendly(though you need to nip the up-sells in the bud ASAP), and I’ve never personally had to wait as a walk-in. It’s a smaller salon, so it seems more comfortable and cleaner than the big warehouse nail places. Good polish & magazine selection… and waxing in the back.

I love the girls here and they clean the pedicure bowls thoroughly. They wax in the back as well. Only checks or cash, no cc.
