It’s both a winery and a wine bar and the food offerings are way above average. The place is casual and inviting. Our first server was a little too cool for school but luckily, a much warmer and friendlier server took over. The standard tasting gets you 5 tastes for $ 10 and the«reserve» tasting gets you those same five pours plus two additional ones. For my money, I’d stick with the standard tasting. The reserve wines didn’t wow me. I liked most of the other wines. Nothing was incredible, but these are honest, enjoyable wines that pair well with food. The food menu is simply awesome. We went with the popular charcuterie plate. It’s a hefty $ 22 but you get a ton of different stuff: 3 different meats, 3 cheeses, pickles, olives, figs, olive spread, and plenty of tasty crackers. It’s a very attractive and nice plate. Very cool spot.

Perfect little wine bar is true. I was there the other day for a fundraiser and the team working did a great job ensuring everyone was well informed of the wine. The pours, ohhh the pours! My fav was the Barbera from Lodi’s Amador County, so nice and no after taste — I could have had this wine all night! I forgot to buy a few bottles and going over there now to purchase. Beautiful inside and the little patio area was nice as well. The spread(food) was excellent, very well done on presentation as well. Valet parking was great. I’m not sure if I spoke to a manager or owner… everyone had excellent customer service. I’ll be back this week to try other wines.

Amazing wine. They ate an urban winery buy the best grapes and make it themselves. It’s right in the heart of Northpark. And they have a great cheeseboard(Which Is The Main Reason To Drink wine). The service was great. Very good all around!

Although located in a shabby chic strip mall off El Cajon Blvd., this newly established wine bar is a true gem. All wine is sourced from prime regions and blended to perfection on premises. I must confess I went in with low expectations as many wine bars in SD simply don’t have the expertise to source interesting and unique wines, however I was blown away. Negociant not only has wonderfully rich and dynamic wines, but also has interesting and unique takes on different varietals. Not to mention that they are affordable, and their wine club is truly a steal for the price. This will definitely be a weekly passion for myself and anyone else who will join me. So excited to see how this space evolves.

A small and relaxed atmosphere. A great space for catching up with family, friends, or just to be social. They have wine, beer, coffee, and small bites available. A little something for everyone. You’ll be tasting among the barrels in a temperature-controlled and industrial rustic look room. They feature wines from Russian River Valley/Sonoma(my favorite!) and the staff are very knowledgeable of the products they have. They offer $ 10 wine tasting for five tastings and a Passport option for $ 20 were you get wine tastings at the participating wineries for $ 5. What a nice change from San Diego’s multitude of breweries. So come by and swirl, sniff and sip away at negociant winery.

First time visit — did the $ 10 tasting for 5 tastes. We had a mix of red and white. Unfortunately they were out of the Syrah, which I really wanted to try. Wasn’t really impressed with any of the whites including the unoaked chardonnay that I thought I’d like. Best was the Barbera I believe. The red cuvee was also decent. Primitivo was good too. We didn’t try the food, but will on the next visit. They are also a coffee house which is attached to the wine bar. I liked the décor. Service was friendly. I like that they are dog friendly. Met the house dog — very nice. I also like that they serve a tap beer in case you have friends who aren’t wine drinkers.

I’ve been waiting for this place… Seriously, perfect little wine bar in the heart of our neighborhood. I really could not be more excited. The food is good, there is a coffee bar and best of all… they even have craft beer on tap. Becoming a member of their wine club was a no brainer. It is so fun to have wine(especially to give as gifts) that comes directly from North Park.

What a terrific concept. Delicious wines, well-designed space, generous & welcoming owners, along with great wine prices make Negociant a must-see for wine enthusiasts. I enjoyed the Chardonnay(stainless, no oak), and my friends were in love with the Red Cuvée, bought a bottle(who wouldn’t at $ 18?!). I’m thrilled to see urban wineries taking off. Breweries have hit a bubble, and I love the variation here. This is also a *great* place for events, book clubs, non-profit fundraisers, etc.

Visited this new place a few days ago. Has a industrial quaintness feel to it. The owners are very nice and make sure customers feel comfortable. The symphony wine is delicious(mildly sweet but not overbearing by any means). snacks were good, but hope they will offer a broader selection as the place gets maturer(but perhaps that’s not the idea so that is okay). Definitely would recommend and would go back for another drink ! Great location as well, but can see parking getting a bit difficult as the place gains popularity.

Join the $ 50 wine club while you can — it’s the best deal in the city. Good wine, nice space, friendly staff — what more can you ask for?

Visited with a friend as a nightcap and freshly enjoyed this urban winery in our neighborhood. They source grapes from all over and have bottled elsewhere previously but now operate out of North Park. Met one of the owners and enjoyed several of the wines that I had. I believe that my favorite was the chardonnay. I look forward to coming back and trying some of the food on offer as well

What an addition to the neighborhood. This may be my new favorite spot in the North Park area. Great wine, super friendly staff, a comfortable space and a good looking menu. My friend and I decided to try the tasting menu as it was our first time. What can I say I joined the wine club after my tasting I was that impressed! Everyone that was working was so nice and knowledgeable. I didn’t try any of the food but I plan to in the future. They also have a few beers on tap for the non winos. This is a must try when in the North Park area.

Five stars and I would happily go back and bring everyone I know. As well as excellent wine, there is beer and a lovely coffee bar. But let’s talk wine, baby. First off, they offer two tastings — five for $ 10 or seven for $ 15. Worth every penny! Winners include a surprising white they call Symphony(slightly, elegantly sweet — perfect for Thai food), a gorgeous Primitivo to please the dark red wine lovers, an exceedingly pleasant Barbera(simple and delicious), and a very tasty Sangiovese(it was the last taste poured after a heavy-pour tasting so I don’t 10000% trust my OMGGGITWASSOGOOD feelings but I bet it’s truly a delight). With the broad varietal types, there’s something for everyone by the glass and a wine adventure if you do the flight! Didn’t try the food but hope to soon! Great place to go!

Don’t take my word for this place, stop by and see for yourself. Stopped in yesterday to check it out and left as a member of their wine club! Decent food selections(soon to be pairings), ample space and a very convenient location. Local craft beer on tap as well for those who want something else. Well done!

It’s been a lifelong dream to live walking distance from a winery and now my dream has finally come true. This little gem is a welcome addition to the neighborhood and a lovely compliment to the craft breweries and restaurants close by. The food(charcuterie and cheese board) was delicious and the wine tasting($ 10 for 5 tastings) was a nice blend of trusted and newer, adventurous varietals. Zane was a great host. There is also a coffee shop, local beers on tap, and apparently they are pouring the slab for the dog friendly patio this week. We joined both the wine club and the Urban Winery Passport. I foresee spending a lot of time and a lot of money here. Happily.

My wife and I stopped in Sunday afternoon to check out the new, local winery, their wines and grab a little bite to eat. The space looks great. Rustic and modern touches. Bar that seats 10 – 15 and little tables around. We each had the wine tasting that included 5 wines and they were all terrific! The sangiovese was our favorite of the wines in the tasting, but go off the tasting list and try their pinot noir. It was really great. They also have a rotating selection of locally brewed beers and a good selection of food from the attached café. We had the cheese and charcuterie plate and it was very good. The staff was extremely knowledgeable yet still very approachable and super friendly, and the atmosphere was fun. Great local joint, but also worth the trip out even if you’re not a North Park local! We’ll definitely be back!

A large selection of red and white wines and an excellent selection of stout and IPA beer. I highly recommend the Sangiovese or Primitivo(for red) and the Symphony(white — mildy sweet). The Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Stout is incredible. The interior has an industrial rustic look yet it is very stylish. Great spot and an excellent social atmosphere. I already purchased 6 bottles to take home and I will be back!!! The staff are very personable and friendly. Helpful in describing the different types of wines and stouts. This is definitely the place to come and relax. I will definitely be back.
