Nguyen Tran, DDS

Hands down one of the best dentist I’ve been to in a very long time. Dr. Tran and his staff are super friendly and Dr. Tran is so compationate towards his patients and so good with children. He took the time to explain everything to my kids and made their experience fun. As long as I live in San Diego Dr. Tran will definitely be my family dentist.

This was my first visit to Dr. Tran. I was looking for a new dentist and upon the recommendation of a friend who goes there, i set my appointment and went. They accepted my insurance (yay!) and the friendly office staff immediately made me feel welcome. After X-​rays, he immediately got to work on my cavities. It was relatively painless and he made a few recommendations when it came to fillings. I’m definitely making him my regular dentist and would recommend anyone looking for dental work to give him a try. Very knowledgeable and informative. The office was very clean and very kid friendly too.

I just had a visit today at Dr. Tran’s office. I have to say that it was very pleasant and utmost professional. Dr. Tran is very knowledgable in his craft and is very steady (that is definitely important to me). He also has the latest technology that I’ve seen in a dentist’s office; touch screens and my personal favorite was the dental camera. During my exam, he was explaining to me areas of concern and I was able to get a visual as well on the spot due to the use of the camera. When making recommendations on what may need to be done, he asks for your consent prior to doing anything further. Thumbs up Dr. Tran! His demeanor is friendly as well. He keeps you engaged throughout the time, so time passes. The conversation is casual and he makes you feel as if you’ve known each other forever. I highly recommend Dr. Tran and will be making him my primary dentist.

Dr Nguyen was recommended to me by another friend of mine after I decided to switch dentists. I went in for a general cleaning and he told me I needed to redo some fillings. At first I was skeptical but Dr Nguyen put my doubts at ease. He explained to me what was going on as well as showed me live pictures what he was saying. The pictures helped a lot. He is definitely very knowledgeable and is not pushy. He gives you the information and allows you to decide on what you want to do. If I did not switch to Dr Nguyen I don’t believe my current dentist would’ve seen the issue because he has hygienists doing the cleaning. Once they are done cleaning he does a quick 5 minute check and sends me off. At this dental office, Dr Nguyen personally cleaned my teeth and found the issue.
I rescheduled and did the fillings. He was very gentle and there was very little pain during and after the procedure. Even though it is a bit of a drive, I am definitely making Dr Nguyen my primary dentist.

I’ve been to him a few times. Been to a few dentists that were trying to make a ton of money off of me, Dr Nguyen has been very honest and does only what’s appropriate, he’s very nice and knowledgeable, and very skilled, strongly recommend him. I can definitely say you won’t regret picking him.

Went in today for a new crown & a filling. As before, all were found to be prompt, pleasant & professional plus courteous & caring! Who could ask for more?
