North Cove Public Beach

I love this place! My sister and I with our families have been coming here for years to fish. There is always plenty of parking. The bathrooms here are always clean however, they are not always open. The bathrooms are open seasonally. You may not always catch a fish here but the view is to die for. Downside, jet skies and personal boaters come way to close to the edge where we have our fishing lines casted. Upside, the beach is down the way so you can do ghost shrimp fishing for bait or go and lay out over there. Most of the fish caught here are the calico bass.

Perfect place to launch yourself into Mission Bay! I wouldn’t come here just to go swimming, but it’s a good spot to get into the water with your kayak, paddleboard, or canoe. Plenty of parking, kind of hidden and tucked away, has public bathrooms and an outside shower to rinse off after going in the water.

Lots of parking, nice expanse of beach options (busy or quiet spots), and nice views.
