Had been meaning to try this place and finally made a stop. Super happy I did! I can’t lie, I am super picky about my sandwich and was pleasantly surprised how good this one was. I like when you can get any sandwich toasted. The roll was really good, the meat was really good and a good amount and they spread the mayo on the bread instead of just heaping globs of it on top. I love that! Added avocado to my sub and paid a dollar extra like most places, but they gave me a good dollars worth! Didn’t skimp! I also like that they have sprouts to add on there too. The staff were friendly as well, will definitely be back!

Ordered through EAT24 yesterday and I was really impressed. I had the veggie sandwich with pesto and provolone on squaw bread. It was exactly what I was craving and it was loaded. I could only eat half of it, which is great because I wanted seconds later in the day. The macaroni salad is really creamy and delicious, and my meal came with a cute little complimentary pickle.
Another bonus is that they open at 9am, which is great for people like me who have early lunch breaks. :)

I love the breakfast croissants, the Voltaire sandwich is delicious and I love the OB deli sauce on everything.

Bobby and the guys down at OB Quick have hit it outta the PARK! I got the Italian Sub with mortadella, provolone and other goodies and was amazed when I saw green olives as an option. By FAR, the best sub I’ve ever had! They throw in a few pickles, feature different sandwiches that include a daring and chips… and, of course, have that great small town, NON-​corporate excellence in service that they’ve always had!

I wish I could rate this deli beyond 5 stars! Their sandwiches are without question, the BEST I have ever had! The deli is owned and operated by Bobby, an OB veteran, and his beautiful family. They have plenty of sandwich options (all creatively named after streets in Ocean Beach) and you also have the option to build your own OB Deli creation! The deli is always clean and stocked with the freshest ingredients.
The staff is friendly and greet you the minute you walk in. Bobby, his wife Lisa, and his three boys are always such a pleasure to see. They take the time to get to know you and do their best to truly make a sandwich that you will enjoy. My favorite sandwich is the Voltaire! However, when I am feeling spontaneous I will ask Bobby to make me his own surprise creation. The best part of all, OB Deli CONSTANTLY if offering deals! Because I love OB Deli so much I convinced my boss to cater their sandwiches for our staff meetings. Bobby and his team went above and beyond to provide our staff with a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, and cookies to enjoy.

Recently moved here from Norcal. My business close by, needed eats and conversation and some local knowledge and know how. I got that and thensome. High quality ingredients and carefully made. Honestly it is, a Deli, not just a place to get beer a Cherry Dr. Pepper and a bag of chips when you’re on the munchies train. NOT only sandwiches but solid salads, that are not thrown together with stuff loaded on haphazardly.
Also, every single non alcoholic beverage known to man. I’m a sucker, for presentation and new“stuff”. Juices teas and sodas in cans bottles and bigger cans and bottles. Good place to have for your lunch or snacks and. Oh yeah «talent» out front serving coffee and smoothies with a smile and easy on the eyes.

So good! Employees are quick to help you and the food is pretty good. Definitely better than the subway that used to be here. These guys give you plenty for your money.

Wow! This deli is AMAZING. OB deli is one of my favorite go to places to grab a quick lunch on the go, they make the sandwich in front of you, and they STACK THESE SANDWICHES UP! The best part about this deli is their prices and special deals. My favorite sandwich is the Voltaire St. It has 2 meats 2 cheeses and avocado for just $ 7.49

This place is amazing. Typically if somebody wanted a gourmet sandwich I would send them to Chris’s deli or peoples grocery store. There was also a subway at two locations but thankfully OB deli took over one of the subways. Not that I’m hating on subway but I will be deli kicks it all up in knots. The sandwiches are huge and all top-​quality

Oh man, these are good sandwiches… setup looks like a subway, but the quality is so far beyond. The guy who made our sandwiches (already had four in the past two days) really cares that they are perfect. It looks like they have daily specials for a great price, 6.99 included chips and a drink.
lots of bread choices, the French rolls and marble rye were excellent, haven’t had the chance to try the rest yet.
High quality meats and cheeses, veggies were all super fresh. He cut the avocados fresh and used the whole thing one one sandwich, no old premade guacamole. Also he gave me some pickles and peppers on the side for no extra charge.
Didn’t try the cookies, but the brownies were really good. My wife will be sending me back for more…
Both days the good food was taken to the hospital so we didn’t have to eat the horrible hosp cafeteria food. The friendly faces (did i mention how nice the employees were, maybe they are owners due to the care taken) and excellent food really boosted us up, earning them my return and future business.

Best convenience store in OB and surrounding areas! Bobby and his staff are always so nice and friendly. The new OB Deli is amazing! Such great, quality meats, the portions are very generous and the price is right. I love the touch of incorporating local street names for names of the sandwiches. I ate mine too fast to snap a photo to share :) Thanks Bobby!

So much better than the previous subway. The owner is wonderful and so is the food. Very fresh ingredients and I will absolutely be coming back.

First, the sandwiches here are amazing! Fresh ingredients and they pile them up for you. No skimping here like subway. I’ve gotten the same sandwich twice and both times it was delicious! sourdough with turkey, pepper jack, mayo, mustard, olives, pickles, pepperoncinis, avocado, salt, pepper and vinegar best turkey sandwich hands down! Second, the guys here are so friendly I often come with my 3 little kids and the last time the young guy behind the counter asked if he could hold our 20 month old. He even took a selfie with him. Haha Love this place and their customer service! Ob Deli rocks.

Food is fresh, tons of options. Will be back! I’m a vegetarian and the sandwhich was BOMB! The Santa Monica sandwich!

Have had The Voltaire 3x now and it is so good I haven’t tried any other sandwiches there-​LOL. Highly recommended this place. Owner is nice too.

One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I ordered the BLT and it was amazing. You can tell the owner takes pride in what he does.
