Real traditional Thai Masage. They asked to pay before I got the massage. I told her no. Massage was pretty good. They walk on your back. They stretch you while they massage you. There were some points that they were talking to other workers. The towel they provide to go on your body was too thin.

Yaya is the lady who gave me my massage. At 40 i am starting to appreciate getting my muscles loosened up. I took 2 advil went there and asked for her strongest massage. It was awesome, really helped loosen up my lower back, legs and behind my shoulder blades where I didn’t even know it was tight until she found it. A true master that lady is. I will be back

This was my first Thai Massage, and it was AWESOME! Amy did a fantastic job! The combination of kneading, stretching, and pin point was exactly what I needed…

So I find this place on and I see a beautiful gal on the site and so I called them and this gal with a beautiful voice answers and for me, seeing a beautiful gal and then calling and hearing a beautiful voice, I was convinced that their posting was legit and not a «bait-n-switch» kind of ad. The gal quoted me $ 40.00 for a 30 min massage. So I show up and there was a total different gal. Not attractive in my eyes and she was playing on her iPad. She tries to charge me 45.00 instead of the 40.00 as I was quoted. She finally switched and accepted my 40. She takes me to a room and then I’m thinking another gal(a hot one) was gonna come and do my massage… WRONG! This same gal does my massage. Well to keep this short and to the point, she sucked! She kept going too hard and I say lighter and she continues. I’m frustrated at this point but I laid there and waited to see how the whole massage was gonna be. So she uses a baby oil on my body and then leaves and comes back with a tray and bottle water. No hot towel or anything to wipe off the oil. I had to ask for a hot towel so I could attempt to wipe down my own body. So in rating this massage place, I’m giving them a 1 star and that’s being nice. I’m out 40.00 and a massage that sucked! And customer service sucked as well. The end. I’m done venting.

I just had the most best massage ever! It was my first Thai massage, I’ve gone to a lot of Asian massages in the past(and I do mean a lot) and by far this Thai massage was the best. I had a couple of beers at The Waterfront before I came here so I was a bit more relaxed. The gal asked me if I wanted deep tissue or soft I said«deep!» She was amazed at how much deep tissue pain I could take. The place is a bit run down but I looked pass that.

I get massages on a regular basis. My husband saw the Thai Massage Spa while we were strolling the Gaslamp Quarters and we spontaneously decided to get a massage. I had no idea what a ‘Thai Massage’ was but it was the best massage I ever got. it was like a private yoga class /massage experience. It was very professional, safe, clean, and the women who gave the massages were strong, caring and were not in a hurry. I absolutely recommend this Spa!

The massage itself was really great. I had a thai combo and hot stone massage. However, the place is incredibly run down, stuffy and hot, there is no reception, and my masseause even left the room twice to answer the phone. These things wouldn’t bother me if the pricing were matched to the quality of the spa but it is way over priced for what they offer. Mixed feelings about this place.

They say Thai Massage is yoga for lazy people, and being a lazy person on occasion, I concur.(but pleaaaase dont tell anyone!) I opted for a Thai/Swedish combo. The Swedish part is par for the course. As for the Thai part: There are rails on the ceiling designed especially to support your masseuse while she. .. you guessed it. .. walks on your back! YES! I don’t know about you, but if I’m going to get a massage, I don’t want tentative kneading or apologizing. No. Just hop on and walk it out. We’re both here for a reason, let’s accomplish it. Finally, there is a lot of guided stretching, which is much like guided meditation. It’s just much more effective when there is someone to manipulate your limbs and push you beyond your limits. I personally count this as a legitimate calisthenic workout on my lazy days, with the added bonus of leaving with luxurious moisturized skin. *PS: Discount if you use cash.

Its soo hard to find good Thai massage here locally that is not only good, but affordable as well. I recently had a session done by Paula at Orchid Thai and it was excellent. She is a real Thai person and the work definately comes through her DNA. They give a Thai Sweedish type session that was excellent and I’m glad I experienced, they used hot towels, hot stones, tiger balm, lotion you name it, she did it, and of course excellent thai stretching. They do have showers available so you can shower before, and after your session if you like. Next time I go back I will probably focus mostly on the Thai work and skip the Swedish, not because the Swedish was bad, but the Thai was soo good. The only reason I take off one star is because the place is a little run down, and you can hear outside noise in the studio. I just is what it is, but on the other hand the prices for their work are extremely reasonable. Do yourself a favor and opt for the 90 minute session you’ll be glad that you did.
