Pampered Hands Nails Salon

This salon is very unprofessional at manicure. They rush the manicure procedure so that’s why my middle finger got hurt. Also, not all the cuticles are cleaned. I’m visiting this nail salon only because it’s the nearest one and is opening. But I’ll never consider coming back again! Also the communication is really bad. Only the receptionist’s English is understandable. The others just know how to say «good» or «beautiful».

The Worst place that i ever been to! You can do your nails way better. They are in rush and they don’t know what are they doing!

Great service and no waiting times! Mary and Lien did a great job with my gel mani and regular pedi. They do french and ombré too if that’s more your style.

I have been to many nail salons, but yet this has been my worst experience, staff made me felt rushed, manicure pedicure took about 10 minutes! Then they left without even helping me put on my shoes! Aside from their rush, the job they did was no where close to any nail spa! I could have done a way better job myself! This was probably the first and last time I went to this salon! I am from the community and I will make sure all my friends and family are aware of the quality of their service!

I came in because of curiosity as I have never seen any nail salon with such many good ratings. And you know what, they are true! The place looks pretty nice both outside and inside. Clean and organized. Techs are attentive and careful. I had a combo pedicure and manicure and they are probably the best I have ever received ! Considering the quality of products they use and service they provide, I would say their price is pretty hard for other salons area to beat.

Love Susan, she’s so sweet… But my nails have not lasted the past few gel fills and I’m really disappointed. I got a new set and 4 broke within two weeks. The other 6 looked awful, chipping at the corners. When I went back, my gel fill costed $ 40 bucks! She didn’t understand that I didn’t break my nails, the quality was awful. Anyway, guess what… My gel color was peeling the next day. By week two I had simply peeled the gel off in the shower. So jealous of everyone saying «wow, my gel lasts a month»… I love Susan’s personality and work but I can’t pay so much for this quality and I can’t get her to hear me out. So sad.

Susan and Sarah were great! Friendly, nice and very efficient. Both my hands and my toes look wonderful.

Mimi is the very best! She always takes such great care of me while I’m here. I will never go to another nail salon. If you can’t see Mimi, Vivi is fantastic too!

I usually feel very welcome at pampered nails (I probably spend close to $ 1000 there so it was not my first time at all) but today not so much.
1/​the toe color wasn’t matching the gel manicure color– as they were supposed too.
My choice of bright pink was sounding very funny for the nAils tech… I’m foreign myself so I understand very well that you speak your own language. But don’t give the customer the feeling that you just made plain fun of them.
2/​i asked for a design (palm trees) and got asked three times if I didn’t want flowers or hearts instead…
Well that should have been a warning! The palm trees look everything but delicate. and that was extra $ 8.
(After 2 trials I was like «yeah ok that’s fine)
3/​mistake in the bill and the guy who cashed the money who was trying to argue. Well don’t charge me $ 20 when your price list says $ 17.
So I don’t know. I usually have great experience there with the nails tech (Mimi Catherine etc). But today I’m just considering trying another place. Because they are tons of them and when I spend $ 70 I feel I deserve a nice customers service.

I loved the whole hot stone massage for my manicure and pedicure! Highly recommend this place for a restful experience!

Worst nail place I’ve ever been to! I came in before 6pm and the lady did my nail was just so unhappy about me showing up 1hour30min before she gets off her work. She just rushed through everything as soon as possible. When she was removing my gels, it hurt my fingers and the polish she applied on… Even I myself can do better than that! And I even found a spot of color from my old gel and a small piece of thread stuck in the new polish… No tip for you:(

First time I went to this nail salon and I had a gel manicure and a pedicure plus a neck massage by Susan. She was wonderful!
The facility is clean and bright and there’s plenty of parking.

First time here, and was instantly impressed by the size and set up of this nail salon. They have a HUGE selection of gel polish, and Susan was ready and willing to turn an idea in my head (from Pinterest, obvi) into reality.
Although my custom glitter gels cost more than I’m used to ($ 38), it was worth it. One if the best manicures I’ve had in San Diego! She was really gentle around my dry cuticles, when many lesser manicurists leave me bleeding and irritated.
I’m obsessed with my new nail color and definitely found my new regular salon. Highly recommend this nail salon!

Sandy does the most amazing complete gel nails. (This is a technic that uses only gel to reinforce the nail — no acrylic) I came in fully prepared to get a full set of acrylic nails. Sandy discussed with me a specialized technic she does using all gel liquid as opposed to the powder acrylic. Let’s just say I am never ever going back to acrylic nails. The gel nails stay on much longer with out lifting or yellowing. When she fills my nails, there are none of those lines you get when you fill acrylics. I am in love with my all gel nails!!!
Call and make an appointment with Sandy. She books up fast. And you have to try the gel nails! You will not be disappointed

My first experience was absolutely amazing ! Helen did my nails and she did a great job trying to copy and image I gave her of what I wanted. She took the time to pick the colors that would look best on my nails and made sure that every details was there. I’ll definitely be coming back to get my nails done by Helen.
I got gel on my nails and with the design and everything I payed $ 73 bucks. It was a bit pricey but I’m glad that I found a salon/​a person who was willing to take the time to do my nails to the best of her ability and who tried to make my nails even better than what the picture looked like. She was honest about her skills and said it was her first time doing something like this but yet she managed to pull it off.

It’s been 9 days and there’s no chips in the polish. Plus I have been getting compliments on them! For that, they get an extra star! BUT I will still not pay $ 50 for a basic fill.
I also did grab a menu on my way out and it says the fill should be $ 28. If your going to lie about prices don’t keep menus outs with price listings.

I didn’t have the best experience at this location, but after speaking with the owner I feel a lot better.
This place is wiling to work with you to fix problems. The owner cares about the business, and wants to fix all the problems with the shop so it will be better. Businesses grow from kind people like this, and I’m sure this one will do great!
I loved my pedicure and I will be back!
