Papa John’s Pizza

This location has been hit or miss in the past but within the last year it has been SO good! The pizza arrives hot, with fast and very friendly drivers! Keep up the good work guys! Yum!

I had attempted to order one of your 2 topping pizzas for $ 7.99 coupons deals on line at your PB location last Saturday.
I walked into the store to confirm the order had been placed. I was close. I tried to place that order online 5 times. Not successful. They told me there must be something wrong with their online site.
Needless to say this is not the only time I have had problems processing an order online or anything to do with papa rewards online.

These guys don’t deliver in my neighborhood and I live less than three miles away, pretty weak if you ask me.

Ordered the pizza cookie and it was awful. Burnt and couldn’t get 3 bites into it before gagging. I’ve ordered the pizza cookie about 2 or 3 times thinking it was a bad batch. Horrendous

I’ve been ordering from this location for years now without a problem. Their pizzas are good — thick crusts and not skimpy on the toppings. You can also ask for extra tomato sauce which I like. The delivery is quick and carry out is quicker. I order online so I can get their points toward a free pizza.
If you want good Papa John’s then come here. Its consistent service, nice employees, and yummy pizza.

So we ordered 2 large pizzas via phone call. Guess Todd, which was taking the order, is incompetent and could not understand spinach, bacon and mushroom with Alfredo sauce. They showed up with a red sauce with no spinach and onions. Then when we called (a second time) to ask for our correct order andre snapped an attitude when we asked to speak to a manager. This is after a 40 minute wait from the FIRST time we called to let them know the order was incorrect. Needless to say this is definitely our last time ordering from papa johns. Its pizza… Not rocket science.

This papa johns has the WORSE service. they have delivered our pizzas wrong more than 3 times. Especially when I don’t eat meat and we order a half and half and you have pepperoni and sausage on my side. We called back to talk to them and they act like it’s our fault. They don’t apologize and they blame the customer for there sloppy work. They are UNPROFESSIONAL. There is a dominos opening right next door and I can’t wait to use them.

This was my first and last experence with Papa John’s for a few reasons, first when I first called and ask how much was a large Pizza I was quoted $ 12.00 dollars for 5 topings. Then I told the girl I had a coupon from the Entertainment book that provides a free 1 topping Medium when I order a Large or Extra Large. She then takes all my info for delivery then tells me it will be $ 25.00 dollars! She said you can’t get the «deal» for $ 12.00 if I attempt to use my coupon I’d have to pay full boat, or as she said «It’s really expensive». So I ordered my Large 5 topping Pizza and save the coupon for «later» if you know what I mean. Thinking about this more I then called the Lemon Grove Papa John’s store and was quoted $ 16.00 dollars for the same Pizza but that I could use my coupon, I confirmed ARE YOU SURE? I was assured I could. So then I callback to the College area Papa John’s asked the for the manager who said, the Lemon Grove Store was wrong and asked if I wanted to cancel my order, NO WERE HUNGRY! But thanks for the confusion, oh by the way the coupon doesn’t say you’ll jack the price up, it says order a Large and get a Medium 1 Topping. If all that isn’t bad enough, my order when ibn at 8:15 and it was almost 9:30 PM before it arrived, cold, unappealing, and not at all what we were lead to believe a Papa John’s product should taste, smell, or look like.

From my perspective they are disorganized, deceitful, and provide a poor product, they will never get my business again and I will not recommend them to anyone I know or who ask.

This is my local Papa Johns. I LOVE PAPA JOHNS. I usually do pick-​up from here, and its always delicious and on time. I always get coupons in the mail, or when I order online I can always find a good deal. Check their twitter for deals too!
The staff is really friendly, and the manager is amazing customer service. I ordered a pizza on the phone and they made something on the pizza wrong. She looked at the pizza and was the one to notice the mistake. She immediately offered us a new pizza and gave it to us for free. We waited just 8 minutes and bim bam boozle we had 2 delicious pizzas.

I live this Papa Johns. Food is good, people are friendly. The only downside is that it is not convenient from my home, but that is not their fault.

Stopped in here on my way home from work. Ordered pizza for delivery. The delivery guy showed up just a few minutes after I did! I don’t know how they did it! Pizza was piping hot and delicious. We really enjoyed the BBQ chicken w/​pineapple! Papa John’s isn’t usually my idea of great pizza, but these guys really impressed me. Fast, friendly service — we’ll use them again for sure!

I normally don’t review «fast food» chains but I had to say this place has the friendliest people taking your order and I think customer service is always a priority at any food establishment. Seriously, kudos!

Yeah! Papa Johns is the best! Luv the location, I can almost walk there. Always been friendly and quick to get us on our way with pizza.

Just ordered the deal is 10 bucks for a large pan w/​up to 7 toppings. The pizza was good as usual, Papa John’s is my favorite of the major chains. 24 bucks for to large fully loaded pizzas. Pretty good deal in my opinion.

The cheese didnt seem to be cheese… didnt stetch but was just there. It didnt taste good. Will never go back. I cant believe these guys are still in business… really.

My favorite Papa Johns in all of San Diego! They ALWAYS get my pizza just right (extra sauce, light cheese) and its at my door in no time. Perfect for those days when youre starving but too lazy to cook after work.
