Forget the burgers in the Sheraton, these sandwiches were THEBEST, BIGGER& more affordable! While working an event, the Sheraton offered attendees and vendors cold, dry, VERYSMALL sandwiches for $ 10, cash. Who carries cash anymore? I tool the NOTEVEN5 minute walk down the marina to «this cool deli» and bought our team lunch, 2TIMES!!! We had the Reuben, Hot Pastrami and Tuna Melt on Thursday. And, on Friday, we got a small pepperoni pizza, Ham & Cheese Panini and the Italian Panini. Great prices, amazing food and even better service. If we stay at Harbor Island again, forget the burgers, we are having deli food EVERYDAY!

If you are looking for a well crafted sandwich then you must come here. Order the number 7. Thank me later for the recommendation. The staffs we’re nice and funny. Prices here is cheap, considering its on the marina full of yachts.

Good food, f fast service. I’m updating this review from last time. I gave a negative review based on one experience, which I shouldn’t have. It was just a busy day for them. Thank you for your service and accommodations.

This is the best deli on Harbor Island! They have a huge selection of sandwiches and also make breakfast, have homemade pizza, and BBQ on weekends. The staff is awesome! They are in a marina and cater to boaters.

We stayed at the near by Hilton for our wedding at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse on 10÷03÷15 and had breakfast picked up from Papanani’s Deli. The food arrived hot and tasty! It was so good that we came back for brunch the next day. They were only serving the lunch menu but were kind enough to let us order breakfast! Price was good, food was good… I’ll be back!

I ordered a turkey pain with no cheese and when my order was ready it came with cheese. I took the sandwich back and they happily remade my panini AND they gave me a free bag of chips while I waited for my sandwich. I was sitting in the patio and they brought it right to me. The turkey panini was delicious and the service was quick.

Yummy breakfast for affordable price! I would take a pic but we ate it all gone. My husband and I were staying at Sheraton for our 7 year anniversary. We got upgraded to the presidential suite on the house. 5 balconies, kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, 3 televisions, two shirts, spa bath. We got spoiled! I Unilocaled some restaurants and this place had good reviews plus the hotel suggested it too. The brunch at hotel was $ 22 per person and room service was about that too. We walked about 3 mins to get to deli. We made our own mimosas and enjoyed an intimate breakfast over looking the harbor. Breakfast was $ 9 a person not bad! Waffles are yummy! Nice middle eastern family owned joint. Super nice owner. You will not be sorry! Heard the burgers were amazing too!

Horrible!!! We are staying at Sheraton Marina and we were told that this place is cheaper than paying food at the hotel. We should have stayed and ate at the hotel cause the service here is terrible. The lady at the front counter is not pleasant and we were ignored. They also served everyone behind our line first before we got our food. 30 minutes we were waiting and watching everyone eat their breakfast. Food was ok but we are never coming back here that’s for sure!

One word HORRIBLE! If I were to rate this place from A-F, I would give it a Z, based on customer services and food I would give it a Z! The woman behind the counter was not pleasant at all and the guy making the sandwich was not clean and we had to ask them to wash their hands which they told us he did, but he didn’t . On top of that my I’ve had food that I’ve thrown up that tasted better. So all in all the food was over priced and disgusting and the customer service was horrible

This place was walking distance from our hotel so we decided to give it a try. Bad decision on our part. The food was terrible! And the lady at the counter taking our order was quite rude and was somewhat rushing us as we ordered. We got a couple breakfast platters(typical egg, hash browns, bacon, ham) breakfast sandwiches and a breakfast burrito. My family and I went into this restaurant thinking you can’t go wrong with breakfast but man this place sure proved that wrong! The hash browns seemed like they have been sitting for hours! Everything was just bland and cold. Wouldn’t recommend going here, prices are ok but for what you get, it’s not worth it.

Pros: affordable, bfast and lunch options, friendly cashier, nice. View, outdoor seating Cons: limited parking Nice cute little shop. Had some extra time before a tour and this place was located just downstairs. Friendly lady helped us out with our order i just had some deviled eggs and boyfriend had a hot dog. Order was ready pretty quickly. Food was good nothing spectacular but it was good. I will definetly come back if im doing any business in the area.

My boyfriend and I had some time to kill before I dropped him off at the airport so we found this sandwich shop on Unilocal and decided to give it a try as Harbor Island is directly across from the airport. We accidentally missed it the first drive by because it is behind the building i which it resides(which is fine because the bay view is enjoyable), but they only have a small sign next to the road. So be sure to keep an eye out for that. Though the view was great, we were not impressed overall. I ordered the BBQ beef sandwich and my boyfriend ordered a ham and cheese grilled sandwich. He liked his enough, but mine tasted about as good as something I could make from the grocery store. It was not bad by any means, just not worth the $ 17 total bill for two sandwiches and drink we shared. Parking can be a pain. We were lucky and found the one single spot left in the public parking, but the lot is tiny and you likely won’t get that lucky on a weekend. It’s a decent place to stop for a snack near the airport, but not necessarily worth going out of your way for.

I’ve been here a few times– the food is pretty average, the view is gorgeous, the employees seem a little disorganized and distracted(often on the phone behind the counter) but you don’t go to a deli for the service after all. Overall it’s a convenient spot for a sandwich or a bottle of wine. One thing I wish they would stock are bags of individually wrapped snack items– I was trying to find some candy to distribute to my coworkers and Starbursts were my only option. I’ll be back, but mostly for the convenience.

Five stars for what it was. I didn’t expect a fine dining experience. I was looking for a place in this relatively isolated part of the city I could walk to and get a decent breakfast and not pay the prices at the hotel, and they didn’t disappoint. Average priced meal(about $ 9 for an omelet, hash browns and toast), friendly/relaxed people and a pretty dang good meal. It’s not a restaurant where you’ll get waited on, but a nice place to eat some reasonably priced chow and wake up in peace.

They do not deliver food. May be they should update yell setting so that customers don’t call them for delivery and they don’t have to be rude on the phone

Mediocre at best… place needs remodeling… eggs not scrambled thoroughly… bacon cold… prices too high for quality of food. They know they’ve got you because prices at the Sheraton unbelievable for breakast.

I spotted this location as I was walking from tower to tower from the Sheraton. The first time, I just purchased a bottle of wine for around $ 15. The next day, I ordered lunch and the manly looking cashier was down right rude. I guess she was annoyed that I was scoping out the menu… who knows? Anyways, I finally decided to go for the chicken salad. It was horrible. I was thinking that it would be grilled chicken but instead, it was kind of chicken salad that was mixed with mayonnaise or sour cream, which I usually like. Not this time, it tasted spoiled and was disgusting. I attempted to move the chicken salad concoction and just eat the lettuce but it hardly had any lettuce. I decided to stick to using this deli strictly for convenient store soda, snack, and wine purchases.

Well played, Papanani’s. I was one of many Sheraton guests not looking forward to potentially wasting money on so-so hotel food, given the dearth of, well, anything around the area. Sheraton counts on its isolation to drive business to hotel restaurants, but Papanani’s is a gem for anyone who strolls over to the lot next door. Excellent sandwiches and reasonable prices on sundries abound here. The sundry aspect of the joint still isn’t as cheap as CVS or Target, but it’s better than the hotel’s shop. The Turkey-avocado-bacon sandwich is great, but they avocado is, unfortunately, a minor player. I think that without the bacon, my sandwich might have been bland.

I stumbled across this little place on an early morning walk while I staying at the Sheraton. It’s down by the harbor and seems to service the boat owners and fisherman who are heading out for the day. Nothing fancy about the place, it’s a deli /market with a few tables set-up but they offer a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options, coffee, drinks, etc. Obviously, the hotel next door was charging $ 15-$ 20 bucks for a mediocre breakfast or even more for a buffet so this was the perfect option for a quick bite at around $ 5-$ 6 bucks a plate. And, it wasn’t just quick and affordable but really good. I had the breakfast burrito and it was jammed packed with bacon, eggs, potatoes and salsa. My kids dig croissants so they knocked a couple of those down with a side of milk, straight up :) The staff is friendly too and I love giving my money to «Mom and Pop» shops such as Papanani’s whenever I can.

Great Food! Good Price! We were near the airport/harbor and looking for somewhere to eat. We stopped by the restaurant at the opposite end of the island first. There was a 45 minute wait and it was kind of pricey for lunch. We had our kids with us and they were ready to eat. Then we found the Deli. Great list of sandwiches, something for everyone. Great prices too. They have indoor and outdoor tables with a nice view of the marina. My kids loved the food and watching the boats. It was just a little hard to find at first. Coming from the parking lot you have to go to the back side of the small building, the Deli faces the marina. A hidden jewel !

The Sheraton’s food sucked balls so I ran here in the morning to grab some food for the road. I grabbed a drink, an apple muffin and 2 chocolate chip cookies. I did not eat the chocolate chip cookies yet, but the apple muffin was pretty darn good. My total for my 2 cookies, muffin, and drink was $ 7.13. It was reasonable. The restaurant/deli has food you can order(such as breakfast items and sandwiches) and chips and various drink selections on the side. It’s great for a quick bite of food or some snacks to grab and go. They have ready made cookies, muffins, and salads. They also have hand scoop ice creams. There are a few seats to enjoy your food.
