FPI management {the newest managers}is big on attitude and are disrespectful to its tenants. They have closed the computer room and all other services that were in place for years. Like I said they are Big on negative attitude and short on service and civility to the tenants. Abort any thought of moving here!!!

Moved in here about 2 years ago and I must say it was one of the best decisions I ever made other than to have gotten my appendix removed which is a whole completely different story but anyway upon moving here my neighbor greeted me the next day, introduced herself and told me if at any point if we needed anything we could count on her. The place is really comfortable, clean, no loud noise, nice staff and neighbors. The staff is eager to help and always goes the extra mile. They are very professional and resolve issues immediately. The community room is a great service thats offered and theres no extra charge. There is computers, games, and activities for all ages from kids to adults. I cant emphasize how great it is to live here and the monthly cost is hard to believe. The only disadvantage is that its pretty much always full and theres a waitlist thats up to a year wait but it really is worth the wait!

AVOIDLIVINGHERE. This place is a hassle. Inspections almost every month. They up-ed my rent and I couldn’t do anything about it. NOAC, i.e. Summers are a lot of fun. Management thinks they are god because you are stuck in a lease and they think they are doing you a favor. Area is extremely sketch and unsafe at night.

This is a great place, the rent is low, It’s quiet(and I’m on the main floor with the children’s playground) I never hear my upstairs neighbor and manager is very nice. The laundry is expensive, and parking is a challenge for visitors, but being so close to downtown, makes up for it.

I was waiting for this place to open up for YEARS. Knew about it for three or four years and, finally, it opened up! My fiancé managed to get a one-bedroom for about $ 900. Brand-new, one-bedroom in Downtown San Diego? Can’t beat that. It’s located in the East Village area, just a stroll away from East Village Tavern where we could watch UFC fights and have a beer. We can also walk to Petco Park. I don’t live there so I don’t get parking underground so parking sucks during these game days; but any other day is fine. PROS: Reasonable rent, brand-new, coded entry, underground parking, nice staff/manager. CONS: Noisy screaming kids playing in the daytime, loud mariachi music on some occasions, next to some type of rehab center(full of shady looking men), expensive to do laundry and one time someone MOVED my fiancé’s laundry– GROSS and WHY?!, some WEIRD neighbors but not much, someone fat running above the apartment on occasion. Yeah, there are a lot of CONS but I know this place is better than any other place we could ever get in Downtown. It’s new and has a huge living room. We told our friend to apply for one of the two-bedroom apartments and her living room is CRAZYHUGE! She pays a little over $ 1000. Not bad for a two-bedroom in Downtown with a view on the top floor.
