Love this place! Like most of the reviewers, all the of the girls are sweet. Anna cuts my husband’s hair and my hair. My husband is really picky about his haircut and it has frustrated me to keep looking for new hair dressers, but he has no complaints about his haircut anymore. I would say it might help because the girls are pretty, but believe me, my husband cannot hide his unhappiness when it comes to a bad haircut. The prices are reasonable.

Anna did my hair and Brazilian wax for many years. She is so much fun, does a great job and prices are affordable too! You really can’t beat the bikini wax — both Anna and Vaghn are super fast and precise — just what I want in a wax! Best price I’ve ever paid for a wax, and the least painful.
I saw a negative review that someone was upset their appointment was given away because she was «only» 15 minutes late… Come on now, what do you expect? Respect their time and they will respect yours!

At the suggestion of a dear friend I booked an appointment at this hair salon. I couldn’t have been more disappointed with the event if I had it scripted. They ran an hour late, I could smell cigarette smoke on the hairdresser’s hands as she’s sizing up my hair. She was more interested in entertaining her colleagues than conversing with me. I asked for a specific cut and style and when she turned me to the mirror, tears literally fell from my eyes. She shrugged and nearly dumped me from her chair. I’m sad.

Professional, experienced, creative, discreet and comfortable. I’ve referred several friends already. Great atmosphere!

Just started getting my hair cut here. Usually just go to a barber, but trying to change it up. They’re real nice here, and they take care while cutting your hair. They do a good job. I’m happy I started coming here.

Vahn has been cutting my hair for almost 10 years now. As long as she is in business I will never go anywhere else. Hands down, she is the best in San Diego (and I have been to some good ones). She cuts great hair – always knows the new styles for men and the way to make YOU look good. But honestly, that is just table stakes to be in the salon business nowadays.
What makes Vahn and PB House of Style such a great destination to get your haircut is just that – it is a destination. Men of PB and the surrounding San Diego area, you will LOVE this place. Vahn does such a great job getting to know and building rapport with her customers. She is sincere, funny and witty – and no joke, you can talk to her just about anything. She is just an all around A+ person (and did I mention very easy on the eye’s).
If you are looking for a new place to get your haircut you absolutely must try Vahn (or her sister Anna too who cuts great hair). Don’t even consider going to Supercuts, Sports Clips or any of those other, god-​awful, sorry excuse for a salon franchises. It is not even close. Plus, PB House of style is comparable on price.
So give it a try – I know how important finding a good hair stylist can be, especially if you are trying to keep up in PB – and you won’t be disappointed.

Vanh has been highlighting my hair for 10 years now! She and her sisters are awesome! You can’t go wrong! Prices are reasonable and they always do a great job with my hair! Highly recommended if you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for highlights :-)

I have been going to PB House of Style for the past 10 years and has never been disappointed. My hair dresser is Vahn (the owner) and she really knows hair. She’s the best at coloring and cutting. I get so many compliments on my hair and have referred so many people there throughout the years. I’m a loyal patron. They are very professional and great with all hair types!

Started getting my hair cut by Anna in April 2012 and she does a terrific job! Her sister Vahn is also very nice. A+++++++

I had Daisy do my partial highlights and dye job…2 hours later… I had beautiful highlights and bright new smile on my face.
The salon is small but pretty stylish and the sisters that work there are friendly and hospitable.

Ive been going to this place for about a year now. I was first introduced by my buddy Ernie, who has been going there for years. The girls are very kind and will do anything to satisfy your hair cut needs. The shop is always clean and decorated very nicely.
The price for a male hair cut is fair. I once I tried another place on Garnet, paid a lot more and was very dissatisfied. Guys, the girls are very lovely and polite… do yourself a favor and get your hair cut at PB House of Style!!!

One of my coworkers told me about this elusive salon where beautiful women washed and cut and washed your hair for $ 20. I ventured in there 3 years ago and haven’t tried anywhere else since.
This is my spot and I love it. It’s taken me this long to write a review because I don’t want everyone to start going here so I have to make an appointment in advance, but they are just that good so they deserve the recognition and the increase in business.
As a dude with longer (ish) hair, I never get good cuts at barber shops. What I like the most about this cut is how I can go well over a month without needing another cut because of how well it grows in and that’s important to me for time-​sake and my wallet.
Guys, check them out. This place is perfect.

I hate, I mean hate, dealing with my hair. It’s almost as bad as bikini shopping, for real. Then I found Daisy at PB House of Style.
She cuts hair really well, listens to what you want, but more importantly pays attention to how your hair grows. Can’t just go chopping and cutting hair, I’ve learned there is a flow to cutting.
The salon is super cute, they decorated it really nice. They always have good music playing, and the best magazines too!
A few of my guy friends go here because it’s 3 sisters, and they are definitely easy on the eyes. All very friendly and upbeat!
Glad I found them, they saved my hair from many more awful styles!
Now if I could only find the right bikini…

I did not like the haircut i got. I got a girl’s haircut. I think she got a little carried away thinning out my hair.
I’m a guy with hair on the longer side. I grew it out for about a year. I asked for about half of it cut but she took about ¾ of it off and thinned it out so much, I can’t do anything with it.
I won’t be going back here.

I have been going to PB House of Style for years and Vanh, the owner, is so great. I personally try to avoid PB like the plague, but started getting my hair cut by her years and years ago when I {choke} lived there.
I have tried many times to go more local since I live in the Hillcrest/​Northpark area and god forbid I drive 15 minutes to PB, but nobody can do the right cut and style like Vanh can. I always go back to her. And, she always remembers me even if it’s been a year! Plus, prices are so reasonable!
Guys, if you’re reading — I know guys who go there for a haircut with a side of boob in your face.
