I always come here whenever I need to buy chains for my pendants. I don’t know the man’s name, but he’s a really nice old man(graying hair, wears glasses). He never tries to force me to buy extra things that I don’t ask for(he’s not a pushy salesman!!), and knows EXACTLY what he is doing. I have brought three different diamond pendants to him at various times over the course of the past 1.5 years, and he has proved to be the best(by the time I needed to get a chain for my third pendant, I didn’t even consider going anywhere else!). As long as you tell him what length(16″, 18″, or 20″) chain you want and show him the pendant, he’ll know exactly which chain to put your piece on. I completely trust his opinion 100%, and he hasn’t proved me wrong yet! I went to him on Monday evening to put my newest diamond pendant on a new chain. I told him I had no idea what would look good with it, but I knew the original chain was horrible. Within a minute, he had a chain for me to look at. It took him another minute for him to find the exact chain he had in mind(which was on display and had another pendant on it in the glass case). I love that he will change clasps for you(I prefer the lobster claw) if you request it. I love that he can get me in and out within 5 minutes. I also LOVE the fact that he buffs all of my pieces for me as well as the chain, so everything is sparkly and new when I leave the stand =) One silver chains run ~$ 20 each, which isn’t bad. I was organizing my chains the other afternoon, and I THOUGHT one of the chains I had purchased from him a year ago had rusted. Upon closer inspection, it was just the original chain that came with the pendant that had rusted. Wonderful quality chains! I have noticed other people working the stand from time to time… but I always wait until I see my specific guy at the stand before purchasing. Why fix something if it’s not broken, right?
