This place is very conveniently located, and the service is always very fast. I’ve typically gone here to send pre-paid packages so I’m not sure how their prices stack up against anywhere else, but I’ve always been very happy with the service. It would be nice if they were open Sundays but their hours aren’t bad.

The following review is based upon renting a PO Box: CON: Wish they were open more hours(M-F 9 – 6& Sat 10 – 4?) and didn’t close to go to Postal Annex conventions on long weekends. I also wish they sent bar code based texts(like UPS store in Del Mar). While they do send texts they don’t offer much information. PRO: The two workers(it looks like a family run business) are polite and efficient. If you call they’ll let you know if you have packages or other mail. If you tell them you were going on vacation they will hold your mail aside for you. And anything is better than the Rancho Santa Fe post office who clings to the motto, «We’re the post office, we don’t care: we don’t have to.»

Holy smokes this place is a rip off. I shipped a package back to Amazon and estimated $ 17 to send. Went to his place and it was $ 83!!! Got a contract notarized or $ 60!!! Brochure in the store says $ 18 per month for mailbox rental but when I asked she said it is now $ 20. False advertising? This place is convenient but way over priced! Stay far, far away.

FTR Bayba baybay !!! Literally 5 minutes walking distance.2 minutes if I run from my house. It’s our neighborhood ‘Postal Annex’ ! Located right at the entrance of the ‘Verrazzano’ community and attached to other neighboring finds(i.e., French restaurant, laundry mat, personal gym, hair salon). My Golly Gee Wizards ! How I never knew this place existed is beyond me ?! Since it’s located in a residential community, it is barely busy. No need to rush and worry about traffic or getting through lines when getting your urgent mail delivered ASAP ! If I get this job that I applied for then I know ‘Postal Annex’ did its’ job and delivered my application just in the nick of time. Due to the sensitive information enclosed, I made sure to get it mail certified so I could track its’ whereabouts. I have never had to send out mail via postal service office before so I walked in a complete ‘virgineer’(Is that a word?). The friendly, asian lady at the counter accommodated me. I explained to her that it was my ‘first’ time and that I needed to get my ‘sensitive’ mail out by a specific deadline(emphasis on ’ ’). She looked at me a little bewildered, because I seemed to want further instructions as to what I needed to do. /awkward 10 second silence Postal Annex provided the stamp, weighed my certified mail, and totaled the cost. It came to be $ 7 and some change. Not bad. She gave me a receipt and tracking number and I went about my way. Whew ! Well, that was a cinch ! Anyway, check out their website. It’s practically a store as well. Anything mail order-related from supplies to even gift packaging they can provide for you. Oh ! They also do passport photos and processing ! I’ve been meaning to update mine for quite sometime now ! Sweet ! Postal Annex, you popped my cherry ! I was intimidated at first, but no more !
