Such a great time. We rented a trip with Radical Surf Company for a 30^th b-day party the other weekend. Couldn’t have been more pleased.
The site and videos don’t do this justice. We were a group of novice to intermediate surfers and everyone got up their first or second try. Fish (boat driver — that’s his nickname) was easy to get along with and provided great instruction the whole time. This wasn’t hard for the beginners to pick up and the surfers/snowboarders in our crew quickly learned how to throw some fun slashes in the mix. It’s low impact too, so don’t stress on getting hurt — a belly flop into your pool hurts more.
Boat had ample life jackets and different boards to check out, but most of us used the shortboards, which were very easy to get up on.
Plenty of room for storage, snacks, dry gear, etc.
Super fun time and definitely worth doing. We’ll be back for sure.
