Having to deal with your companies signs on Sail Bay(Fanual st. at the park) is upsetting some of the community here. They have been up over a year. It is visual blight. We have contacted the City of San Diego and they will be removed soon. Your signs are not a typical real estate sign that is allowed by the San Diego City Ordinance. It is in violation of 142.1206(1) Place, post, paint or secure any sign, pennant, flag, banner, balloon, or similar attention-seeking device on public property or within the public right-of-way unless otherwise provided in the Municipal Code or specific state statute. The funny thing is that you have gotten away with it for so long, because you put them on real estate wooden post signs. These signs are in the sand of bayside walk, where otherwise citizens could be enjoying that public beach and bay. You are not selling anything at all besides your services. Your signs are tacky and take away from a beautiful area. We can’t wait to see them gone!
