Trish Sbarro hands down is the Best Esthetician. Her facials and brows are the greatest. Very relaxing in a quiet setting. Never keeps you waiting, always on time and the Best personality ever. I highly recommend Trish.

I’ve waited three months to write this review in order to give a fair and honest assessment of my experience. My treatment at Revive Salon was a disaster and I would never recommend it to anyone looking for a med spa procedure.
I saw Susan for Botox and Juvederm in October. She came highly recommend from a friend. I explained to her that I had Botox once before and I wasn’t very happy with the results because I had the weird «Joker» eyebrow for a few weeks and my forehead was very very tight. She explained that she would be careful not to lift my brows too much and would be conservative with the injections. I believe we did 20 units? I also got a small amount of Juvederm in my upper and lower lips.
About 5 or 6 days after my injections, my forehead became painfully heavy. It felt like it was pushing down with a heavy weight and I could barely open my eyes. I immediately went back to Revive and was assured by Susan and Stacy that this was normal and that it would «loosen up» after a few more days. A couple days later, the pain was really bad and my eyelids completely lost their crease, The corners of my brows started to push down and I lost the entire arch in my eyebrow. When I woke up in the morning my eyes were swollen, puffy and heavy. I had zero eyelid crease. I did a little research on the internet and found that there is a complication when Botox is injected to close to the eyelids or (in my case) the brow-​elevating muscle in the forehead, the Frontalis, received too high a dose or the Botox was sub-​optimally placed.
I immediately returned to Revive and told them how unhappy I was. When you are dealing with the contours of a face, you are operating in millimeters, not inches. Even the smallest change can affect your entire appearance. I told them that I was having to literally TAPE my eyelids up in the morning with medical tape just to alleviate the heaviness. This time Susan brought in another supervisor (I forgot her name) and they gave me two options:
1. Sleep sitting up.
2. Ice my eyelids for 20 minutes each morning.
Forgive my French, but what the F**K? No, I am not going to sleep in the uncomfortable and back breaking upright position and I am certainly not going to spend twenty minutes of my busy morning icing my eyes. These were NOT acceptable solutions and I was appalled by their answers. Sleep sitting up? WTF? I paid Revive in good faith, and they made me look OLDER instead of younger. How is that good business? I left sad, frustrated, angry and disgusted.
A week later Stacy called me back to check up on me. I really appreciated that. She said that if things weren’t better in a couple weeks to come back in and she could possibly put some injections above the corners of my brows. At that point I had done a ton of internet research and since this was a fairly common problem, there were a lot of answers out there. More Botox is not the answer. More Botox can fix an overly exaggerated arch, but not a droopy brow. I did appreciate that it was the first time that anyone at Revive acknowledged my disappointment, but at no time was I offered ANY recompense. Not a refund, not a discount, not offer for additional services… nothing. Nothing but, «Try sleeping sitting up and ice your eyes.»
Please please take a look at my photos to see the difference! It is now about 3 months post-​procedure and I still wake up with droopy brows. Luckily they ease up a bit by the afternoon and my left brow is starting to look a bit normal again. I’m not certain the right eyebrow is ever going to come back to normal. It’s like the muscle above the brow is dead. It has really changed the look of my face and the shape of my brows. I look far older now than I did the day I walked into Revive. Don’t make the same mistake that I did.

I have had several things done recently at Revive Carmel Valley… absolutely excellent work done by Mary… she is so good at what she does, so skillful, helpful and professional… and the office staff is very friendly and nice there… highly recommended

Selena transformed my dry stringy long layers into an amazingly healthy looking one length bob without cutting it too short for my liking. My appointment was on the 8^th and I’m still getting compliments everywhere I go. Her shampoo skills are exceptional as well. I liked how she listened to me and asked questions to make sure we understood each other.

My experience as a first time guests was not as good as I would have hoped based on the reviews. Had no problem with checking in or making the appointment. My problems started when I met my stylist selena. She was friendly and tried her best but had no idea what she was doing. we started off with me explaining what I wanted done, and that I have very frizzy and dried ends If you don’t do my hair properly. (I usually go to belle belle down in Pacific Beach and I’ve never had a problem or had to give so much direction on what to do with my hair.) It felt like she didnt wash my hair at all. But the problem really started when she started blow drying my hair, she didn’t put any frizz control or heat protection just a little bit of leave in conditioner that didn’t really do anything for me. As she actually started to blow dry my hair the heat wasn’t hot enough and when I said something she said that was as hot as theirs get and my hair wasn’t dried after she brush through it a few times. After blow drying a few pieces my hair was poofy and frizzy and not straight at all. i tried to give her several directions on how to fix it but as she started to flat iron my hair, it was coming out frizzy and looked like I had a whole bunch of splits and dead ends, it looked burnt and unhealthy even though I had just got my hair cut not long ago at belle belle. Some parts weren’t even straight, I noticed when I got home. At some points I felt like crying because I had an event to go to and didn’t have time to fix this. At the end of the ordeal she asked me how did she do and how did I like it, I tried to be polite and say it was good but she asked me to be honest and I almost had a mini break down when I told her it looked horrible and frizzy as hell. Even though she only charged me $ 25 for the service she looked over the shoulder of the person. That was checking me out to see if I was going to tip her. Honestly save your money or ask for a different hair stylist.

Brook is AMAZING stylist! She can create anything you can think up. She is very fast and efficient and always gives great advice and recommendations on what will help your hair be it’s best. I wouldn’t go to anyone else and always recommend her to everyone who ask.

I see Mena for injections and she is the best! She is so easy to talk to, knows her profession, and does exactly what you would like! Revive’s prices are just right now and the atmosphere is inviting!

Good luck getting an appointment. Called and had nothing for weekends for weeks, couldn’t accommodate an evening appointment even thought they close at 8. I’ll be taking my 2k elsewhere.

This review is strictly for the Stylist Valentina .not crazy about the coordinators/​scheduling. They are all fairly nice in person but seems to be lacking professionalism based on the phone calls.
Back to Valentina. I saw her because I rescheduled my original appt. with Lisa. Who I also love! Valentina really shows her passion for hair and her clients. She has a more unique style then most of the other stylists .
Definitely one of my top 5 hair services of all time!

I love this spa! I had to write a review today after coming for years because I had such a lovely experience with esthetician Brianna (sp?). I got the TMS moisturizing facial and my skin is positively glowing. It was easier to apply makeup later! This is the second service I’ve had from her and she’s awesome!
I would also like to give a shout out to Kathleen, an awesome nurse who gives me flawless Botox and never pressures me to get more than I need. She’s also beautiful and so fun to chat with!
Revive is without a doubt the best place for Botox in San Diego with the best prices and nicest staff :)

Mena is heaven sent!!! I went into the Mission valley location a couple weeks ago for fillers and she was so sweet, explained everything and took her time. Let me tell you that she doesn’t pressure you to get more or upsale by any means. She didn’t even want to touch my lips she thought they were perfect. I’m so pleased with my results. We didn’t use the full 1cc of juvederm and I will go back in two weeks to do touchups if any need to be done at all
I went to see Mena at the Carmel Valley location two weeks after for a post follow up and yet again she didn’t disappoint. First things first I was 25 mins late and she still took me in. The décor at this location is beautiful and the parking is so much better than Mission Valley. I had a minor bump on my lip that Mena drained and we took care of my frown lines with the rest of my juvederm. I’ve already told my friends about Mena and hopefully they go. I can’t wait to see her again I might even get my Botox here. She is the best! Thank you!

I live across the street from the multi-​service salon. I’ve gotten a haircut, color, and Latisse! I even took my 6 year old niece for a haircut and she had a good time too! Its a busy busy salon but everyone is professional and nice. I’ve had a few different stylists and its hit or miss in terms of personality but overall this is my new neighborhood hair salon. I’ve heard they are opening a new location up north and I can’t wait to check it out!

Anisa is awesome! My hair always looks great. She is very helpful with giving suggestions on what will look good, while really listening to what I want/​need in a hairstyle. I love the hours of operation and ease of making appointments.
I recently got the teeth whitening procedure and was very happy. Looking forward to trying their other services soon.

Mena is wonderful. She was so professional and didn’t try to push product like other places do. I am really happy with my results and I will be returning again!
Also, when I called to make an appointment they were able to get me in that weekend. The salon itself is clean and very nice on the inside. I would definitely recommend from my experience so far.

Had my appt yesterday with Susan. It was my first time ever getting any type of filler done. And she walked me thru it step by step, made sure I felt comfortable and left happy. I love how she took her time answering my questions and addressing any concerns I had.
Most importantly she did an amazing job!!! Didn’t feel any pain and today I woke up with the perfect pout coming back in 2 weeks for more! I’m hooked :)

Revive made my first experience with juvederm amazing! The process itself wasn’t painful, they listened to what I wanted out of the process & made me feel comfortable. I was totally bummed once the swelling went down because my lips weren’t as big as I was hoping after but I think they look really nice. If you want a bigger, plumper look I would definitely express that because once the swelling goes down you will feel like there isn’t much difference. I will definitely be back in a few months.

KRISTEN is amazing! Let me just start there.
I Unilocaled ‘lip injections’ one night and looked through a LOT of different salons. This one seemed to fit my budget and all other criteria, so what the heck, let’s do it!
I called them the next day and got an appointment scheduled for the following week.
I talked my friend going with me because I was kind of nervous, and thank The Lord that I did!
We walked in, was welcomed by the front desk girls, and filled out some paper work using their iPad. (The office is stunning, I love the décor).
Once finished with the paperwork, we got called in just a few minutes later.
Kristen brought us back, talked me through how I want to look, what I was going for, and what her game plan was.
She disinfected my lips, numbed me, and then we began.
Half way through I began to feel light headed, and I’ve had this happen before getting my blood drawn so I knew I was about to faint. And of course I did! I told her before that I was about to faint and I guess she did amazing (my friend told me so). She caught me from falling, was there for me when I woke up, and made sure I was okay for the next 20 minutes.
She was super accommodating, asking what I needed, if I wanted to come back later, etc.
I told her I had to finish then because I didn’t want to be lop-​sided.
She finished me up, and I could not be happier!!!
It wasn’t painful at all, and the results are so worth it!
I waited a week until the swelling went down and noticed one side was a little more perky than the other. I called, scheduled a post-​op and got in the next day.
She looked it over, said she agreed with me, and we added a little more on the other side.
(Free of charge of course!)
Once the swelling is completely gone I can not begin to explain how happy I am. I feel so much more confident and pretty, it’s crazy how one little thing can change your self esteem so drastically.

So, the salon is really nice, and its huge. The customer service was great and I enjoyed the atmosphere however, I made an appointment with Jana to get an Ombré color and that’s not what I got.
Jana is really nice and chill and after showing her 3 different pictures of the Omber color I liked, she told me we could do it, just not as blond at the bottom because my hair is so dark and because of my color history. To me, this meant that I would see a clear fade from dark to light, it just wouldn’t be super blond at the bottom. She also told me that the next time I would come in we could gradually get it lighter, great.
So I’m there for 3 hours, she washed and blow dried me and at first I liked it, but I also noticed that it wasn’t quite what I wanted… I think I was tired and sick of being there for so long. So I go home and look at my hair and its clearly NOT OMBRE. The underneath bottom of my hair was still the same dark brown it was before color and I had a distinct starting point about 3 inches from my roots… not ombré.
It looked like highlights with roots.
I called and she put me in for the next day to fix it. She gave me some lighter color underneath and tried to fix the transition right at the top, but still… it doesn’t look like ombré.
Everyone was nice, but Id rather you straight tell me that you cant achieve what I want then try and fail. I don’t want to have to go back 5 times and spend a ridiculous amount of money for you to do what I asked. I would have just done highlights from the get go.
