A friend and I purchased some food from this establishment and made both of us sick! My order included a Carne Asada Burrito and some rolled tacos. When I called the restaurant and explained what had happened they simply hung up on me!

Not sure what happened here. Went to the drive through… no one came to greet at the speaker…2min…4min.So I drive to the window. Completely ignored by the girl who is at the cointer inside. WTF? Sometimes little grungy hole in the wall places have surprising service and great food… but Rigobertos is NOT on my radar as one of those joints. The gal was rude and I should have drove off. It was a long day and I was starving and just wanted a chicken taco. How could they screw that up? Well they did. So disappointed, it had no white meat, just chunks of dark. we don’t know how long it had been over cooked meat. Hardly any lettuce or cheese. It was the smallest worst taco I have ever had. Don’t think I will ever be hungry enough to return here!

Love the guac. Enjoy the breakfast. I wish they had the guac on the California Burrito sometimes their menu items can be a little overpriced but the amount that you get it is worth The little tray makes me laugh every time the lady puts it out in the drive thru it works though.

Last night, it was me and my boys. We traveled across the country from New York only to find ourselves in this area enjoying the nightlife. It happened so fast; while we were crushing the dance floor the lights went out, the floor became full of fog and smoke, and that’s when it occurred. A bright light, most likely projected from Jesus Christ himself, projected onto Rigoberto’s across the street from the bar. My friend and I knew what we had to do, what was necessary. I walk up to the shack and notice three smokeshows eating their burritos. Girls who looked like they could be cheerleaders for the San Diego Chargers each ate a massive burrito and didn’t leave a single crumb on the table. It was glorious. An incredible feat in human consumption. Some would call it a «miracle.» I followed suit and ordered a burrito and a fish taco, while my friend ordered a few more tacos. It brought me right into Mexico, a place I have never even visited. And this was it. I woke up this morning more satisfied than when I first met my ex girlfriend.

DISGUSTING!!! I ordered a carne asada burrito with sour cream and cheese;and, apparently, reheated carne asada meat. I returned to simply ask for the burrito to be reheated and the gentlemen(I use that term lightly) argued with me about heating the burrito that I paid $ 7.65 for. After listening to his conversation for 7 seconds, I just asked for my money back. My advice: New year, new job. Clearly, you and the cook dont want to be there. San Diego is the taco shop mecca-ON TOTHENEXT!

It’s a restaurant, a drive-thru, and a cultural landmark. When other great taco shops have gone to bed, this one keeps ticking! I hadn’t been to this establishment in about 5 years, until now, and yet the taste is exactly the same, and the size of the burrito is surprisingly large. The salsa was surprisingly good and peppery, and I was satisfied at 3 in the morning. Thanks staff and ownership!

Good food and service. Short wait time and they definitely don’t skimp on the ingredients. Will be back more often. If only they had Baja blast… a guy can dream!

I love little random taco shops like this. Granted it’s a chain, but regardless, it still satisfies that Mexican food craving I occasionally get. Awesome how it’s just down the street from me, too. I’ve definitely had better, but for the price, location, and quality, four stars seems rather appropriate.

OPEN24HRS!!! Great for late night post drinking. VERYFAST service too. My favorite is the pollo asado tacos and they do a great adobada taco. Extensive salsa bar too. My friend Panchito eats the super quesadilla every other day. He loves it.

I am still on my quest for the best rolled tacos in SD and I have not found any better than my favorite tacos in Spring Valley(check out my reviews to find this gem!). Rigoberto’s tacos were not bad, but not so good either that would be deserving of a five-star rating. I paid a little over $ 6 for decently-sized tacos; however, it was missing some flavor! Plus for the price, they did not include sour cream — only came with guac, lettuce, and cheese. The salsa was also a little too watered down for my taste. Good price for the size, but to get a full 5 stars in my book, they need to step up their flavor game! Also, if you’re confused about the drive thru as I was, don’t be! They are super clever and creative that they created a way for them to serve you even from your passenger window! Gotta give them props for that!

Had a chicken burrito, wet. Was pretty good. They had a small salsa bar with 6 different salsas. Sadly only 1 was really great. Ordered chips as well, they were $ 2.75. All in all, it’s just ok.

Dear Rigoberto’s, This relationship has got to stop. The late night hook-ups, the drunken conversations/arguments that go nowhere, just to wake up the next morning and hate myself. Is this fun for you? I mean, you are interesting(sometimes), you make me laugh, make me wonder what’s really going on inside, are those feelings or fries I’m eating? And why do you feel the need to mess with my mind and place your drive-thru window on the opposite side of my car? Do you think a simple change-up like this will keep me coming back? No, I’m done. No more cheesy lines, no more greasy stains on my pillow, no more Sunday Funday regret, no more massive burritos, no more delicious housemade salsa and no more cheap thrills. Adiós, we’re through! Love, Peace and Burritos.

I’m new to north park and I’m always skeptical of trying new taco shops because I’ve been burned so many times trying a new place thinking«how can you mess up a carne asada burrito?» And sure enough, they figure a way how to. The reviews are what sold me. I went through the drive-thru. Ordered 5 rolled tacos with guac/sour cream/cheese $ 6 and some change. *this next part seriously made my entire day.* So I drive forward to the window and notice that the window for payment and food pick up is on the passengers side of the car not the left… I see the employee open the window and we look at each other and I’m thinking«okay how are we going to do this, and why the hell is the window over there? Do I get out?» Instead, the woman takes out this contraption that looks like a broom stick with a basket/dustpan taped To the end and fishes it through my window to collect my payment. I had such a good laugh because I that was so clever and funny. It caught me off guard. She gave me my food the same way and I have no idea why I thought that was so entertaining but it was. The rolled tacos were 8⁄10. Could use some more flavor but I fixed it with the hot sauce. The guac/cream and cheese combo were my Favorite. I will return when I’m in the mood for a quick fix since it’s so close to my home.

Food is edible. Service is usually good but not tonight. Lady at the drive thru must be having a bad day. My asked for sour cream on my tacos and knew it would be extra but she turned over to the cook and told him«only but sour cream, cheese and lettuce. I’m charging her extra.» The cook laughed and she told him to shut up. I asked her about the interaction and told her I am fluent in spanish. Some seasoned man next to her looked concerned. She refused to answer my question. I told her she was very rude and she threw the hand up and said OK. It’s a shame when businesses forget they are only open because of customers.

Local — Rigoberto’s will always be my go to spot for burritos. When I used to eat meat I always came here and now that I’m vegan I still go here. Veggie burrito– *** 5⁄5 *** I’ve noticed that a lot of Mexican joints have terrible veggie burritos but Rigoberto’s is consistent through and though whether you’re a meat eater or not. Their beans and rice are full of flavor and they load the burrito with a ton of pico de gallo and guacamole. Sometimes their size is inconsistent but it’s never EVER been too small. ***Note: they cook all their food with vegetable oil*** Salsa bar– *** 5⁄5 *** they have one of the best salsa bars in San Diego. Not only do they include spicy pickled carrots but also pickled green onions, cucumbers and these large white peppers(jalapeño maybe?). They have a wide variety of salsas that satisfy every craving too(dark roasted pepper, red hot spicy, creamy mild and many more). Environment — 5⁄5 *** Mexican joints should be fun, chill and colorful and that’s what Rigoberto’s is. It’s bright colors make you feel happy and their staff is always friendly and polite. Ok, so the drive thru is on the opposite side, but WHOCARES! If you’re one to complain about the widow being on your passenger side than you’re just looking to complain. Point is, they make it work. Cheers to Rigoberto’s! I love them!

Don’t judge this book by it’s cover. This divey looking taco shop is as good as it gets-classic San Diego taco shop excellence. Fast service, fresh ingredients and bombass burritos. Check them out-24 hours too!

Went here at 1am out of desperation after a concert, as it seemed everything with vegan options was closed, and was pleasantly surprised. Everything here is made with vegetable oil(vegans rejoice!), they are open 24 hours, and accept all major credit cards. My bean/guac/pico burrito was surprisingly good. The game changer was the tortilla, which was obviously homemade-this makes such a difference in the taste! Amazing. Ingredients tasted fresh and not overly salty. The variety of salsas here was impressive-about 10 different options. My Jamaica tea(hibiscus!) was also delicious. Lady working was very friendly and nice and even charged my phone for an hour.

Good service, good salsa bar, good prices, good portions, good spicy carrots and the best burritos in town… need I say more?! I have been to A LOT of Mexican joints and they have the best vegetarian burritos I’ve had. You match the taste with the size of them and you get 5 stars. I used to eat meat and would get burritos here but it’s been a long time. I’m not too helpful with the meat choices.

Came here with my man to get him some food. He ordered the Carne Asada burrito and some rolled tacos. The burrito did not really taste like Carne Asada but more like a beef stew in a burrito. It was just ok. The rolled tacos were ok also but nothing to drive all of the way back over here. The service was good and the food came out quickly.
