I just relocated to the San Diego area about five months ago and was not employed when I arrived. It made for a scary few weeks desperately trying to find any type of employment that I could. I found Robert Half shortly after making the move and they were very quick to get me out to work and I never had a bad experience with any of their clients. They were always available if I had any questions and were always very pleasant and approachable. They were on top of my time entries and made sure that I was paid promptly every week. I ended up getting a permanent job offer through them and could not thank them enough!

I am a graduate student and was seeking some summer employment to possibly become more permanent. I applied to Robert Half through the SDSU career website and was promptly contact by Sabrina. I had been applying to many places and assumed that this was for the position advertised for rather than to put my name in a hat at a temp service.
I spoke to Sabrina on the phone on Wednesday, she asked me for a Skype interview at three p.m. I waited for over an hour and heard nothing. I was going to cancel altogether at that point because regardless of the job seeker/​job placer relationship respecting the other person’s time is more than just common courtesy. I was going to cancel Monday morning, but was told to come in later in the afternoon for a 2 p.m. appointment. After waiting for over an hour, I finally had a meeting with her at 3:15 that lasted about ten minutes in which I was told that there were no positions for me. I feel as though this was a monumental waste of time. I also feel that beyond making a potential contract-​employee wait for over an hour at both junctures, that the person that you are dealing with should dress in appropriate business attire, not looking tramped-​up like she is going out with her friends on a Friday night.
I found this experience to be terribly disrespectful and disappointing. There is a certain level of callous disregard for another person’s time that is frankly unnacceptable. After the excessive amount of paperwork and waiting-​and wasting an entire afternoon to come down to the office and being told that there were no assignments; that I feel even less inclined to connect with them to the point that I would tell people to reconsider if Robert Half was attached to any of their job searches.
I would give this .1 stars, but that is not an available option.
