I have discovered this trail last year when I ran around the Pacific Beach Drive and Campland on the Bay. Since then whenever I am around glamping at the COB, I will always run the trail of beauty. This trail has a great view of the creek and when I went there, it was nice and green. It’s a bike path but there are few runners and walkers who enjoy this as much as I do. Some parts of the sidewalk and under the bridges, you will always find some homeless but harmless people. If they wolf-whistle at you, just keep going and don’t look back. Lol. When you see them on your way back, just smile and run a little faster. It’s a 1.5 mile from the Campland and another 1.5 mile on the way back. I have followed the trail that goes around the creek up to the stairs and street. Easy trail, no difficult elevation or anything.

Great trail if you are on your bike and don’t want to try to ride through pacific beach. The trail gets really slim in certain areas so keep an eye out or whistle. There are commonly homeless people on the trail but they are fairly nice and just want a place to sleep. This bath is a hidden treasure that hopefully will get the attention it needs.

By far the illest bike trail in Clairemont EVA. Oh meet me down at the Balboa Bayou, the wimminz are swimminz at the Balboa Bayou, fire up a can o’ beans better make that twooooo — Just a sample of what goes through my head while biking this trail. Just because it’s white trash doesn’t mean it’s not five glorious stars of Clairemont(ahem, «PB») at its finest. Stay classy Rose Creek Bike Trail. «Wohoo! As good as it gets!»

The Rose Creek Trail, more commonly known as the Rose Creek Bike Path. Although this paved trail could stand to be cleaned up a bit(I would like to see some of our anti-recession money going into beautifying this trail), I have to give it 4 stars simply because it allows one to bypass all PB/Mission Bay traffic to get from In N Out Burger all the way to Mission Bay(emptying out behind the golf course). On weekends it is not uncommon to see some walkers, skateboarders, or other bikers on this short path. Two Notes about entrances: 1. The entrance from Damon Ave is extremely steep and short. Do as the sign says, and dismount your bike and walk it down the first ramp. 2. There are many entrances on and off of this path. One such entrance(that Google Maps isn’t doing a good job of covering right now) is the entrance from Grand Avenue heading eastbound. This entrance is located just east of Mission Bay High, immediately before the tennis courts one sees after one crosses over the bridge.
