Yesterday, 9÷28÷15 was my first appointment. I was hesitant at first, but willing to try anything. During the last two years, I lost both of my loving parents (married for 52 years). In the time that ensued, I could not get a decent night of rest (averaging 4 – 6 hours of sleep). With the lack of sleep, other problems followed: challenging memory skills, tension headaches, and aching joints. My doctor did a MRI and CAT scan on my brain due to the lapse memory, thinking I might have had a small tumor; both tests resulted negative, thankfully. However, the frustration grew, and out of frustration the remedy was suggested by my doctor: exercise, massage, acupuncture, and yoga. I decided to bicycle home from work, (13 miles). I also followed through with deep tissue massage. The massage therapist, besides my doctor, also suggested acupuncture, emphasizing that it would complement the massage. Therefore, I caved in, and decided acupuncture. What ultimately persuaded me was that is was covered under my insurance (it lends credence to the practice). Needless to say, after my first visit, I slept 10 hours that evening. The most I’ve slept in 2 YEARS! I’ve a second appointment, and much looking forward to it.

Wonderful experience and Elaine is very professional and caring. Don’t think it fixed my plantar fasciitis but worth a try.

I have been going to Elaine for over 10 years for both massage and acupuncture. She is the most caring, knowledgable, intuitive person… I can’t imagine going to anyone else! When I broke my leg several years ago, Elaine helped me with the swelling and pain as well as speeding up the recovery process with her acupuncture treatments and herbs. When I pulled my back out, she helped that too. If I’m just feeling achy, her massages are THE BEST! Trust me, you will love her too.
