This place is a hit and miss. I gave it 2 stars only because it is close to my house and it had what I was looking for. The customer service was AWFUL!

I didnt want to come here due to the very bad reviews but since its closer to my home than National city I decided to do it. The store feels much bigger than National city, more space to move around, not as crowded. IT has EVERYTHING I need! THey were out of the Seche Vete Fast Dry coat (Best in the whole wide world!) and I asked the associate Carmen if they had any in the back and she happily checked. She also adviced me on what toner and peroxide to use. THe cashier was also amazing. They were both so nice. This is definitely now my go-​to!

Most unprofessional staff ever!!! I drove all the way down to this location to buy a hair dryer. I was up at the cashier and asked the lady behind the counter if there were any deals for the day. She flat out said no. So there I was, waiting for her to ring me up. I turned around and saw a HUGE poster on the window about a big blowout sale on hair dryers. I asked another employee who was fixing merchandise at the side if the sale was on. She confirmed that the sale was on and that the more expensive the dryer costs, the bigger discount you get. So I asked why the other lady didn’t give me a discount. She said, «if you know of a discount, you should tell us right away because we don’t know all of the discounts we have.» Reeealllly!!! The freaking poster was right to the side of the freaking cashier, the lady would’ve seen it when I asked the first time. That was $ 15 off the price that I could’ve missed out on. It didn’t help either that it took the lady about 10 minutes to get the manager to override the charge on my card. And, it was so rude that while I was waiting there, the lady at the cashier didn’t even make eye contact and kept talking to the other employee in Spanish, which I don’t understand. I’m never coming back to this location!

I didnt, even get there and i already dislike this Sallys location. I called to find out their hours and, this ghetto unprofessional no ettique having girl answered was rude, uninterested and when i asked what time they closed she said oh right now… Hello its 5:17 who closes at 5:17! I asked again confused and she said 545. i said «huh you guys close at 545?» She stated «ya» having myself worked at this exact location years ago i know they never close at a 45 mark and the Manager i had there trained us to be helpful, and patient even if it was getting to closing time. Ridiculous horrible customer service. This isnt the 1^st time ive had bad service here. Sally really needs to set up there standards for employees. It has sure chanhed since i was there.

Couldn’t help but feel like I was being followed here… by the employee! She kept asking me if I needed help finding something and if I was ready to pay… uhh RUDE! I had already told her I knew what I wanted, I was just looking. Don’t judge me by the way I’m dressed okay? Or because I’m with my friend who happens to have a little girl excited to see the things on the shelf… that does not mean were gonna steal?! I ended up spending only about $ 35 just because I felt uncomfortable… dissapointing to see how customer service has been on a downward spiral in the last few years…

Greeted at the front door, that was a plus. The area seemed a little empty, and GHETTO.
When I came here, I was looking for a certain nail polish brand. O.P.I, of course the girl that works there helped me out. I asked her, and come to find out, they DO NOT SELL the O.P.I brand here. WHAT?! yeah, I was kind of mad only because I was in traffic and drove a little far just to get there only to find out they don’t carry the damn brand. I should’ve called, but I was in a hurry AND driving. Ugh.
The inside was also ghetto. How? because when you want a specific item, there is a sign next to it «please ask for assistance» really? you have to ask a employee to get it, because it’s behind the counter in a plastic box that says «high risk theft items» LOL. yikes.
The customer service here was actually nice, the girl that helped me was really friendly, and I appreciate that. They also don’t carry a lot of nail supply stuff, just nail POLISH and other nail health stuff like cuticle oil or whatever. I was disappointed at the fact that it’s a supply store and they didn’t carry nail supplies, what a total bummer. I won’t be coming back because they don’t carry what I want, not a huge selection of anything.
One aisle, literally is all CURLING/​FLAT irons. As if they don’t have enough? maybe they should order. oh I don’t know, nail supplies more? I believe when I went there there is also a small salon in the back? I didn’t quite get a good look. The store was also clean, but not well ventilated, so it was sort of warm in there. Oh well.
