Exactly what I was looking for! Custom ear plugs for sleeping and loud aircraft. Dr. King is easy to work with, upbeat and professional. I like that he works out of his home. It only takes a few minutes to be fitted for ear plugs and he calls when they are ready for pick up and shows you how to insert them and makes sure you’re good at it before you take them home. :)

Awesome job. He works out of his home, does the fitting in his garage with the door open. He was really nice and took time to really explain the whole thing and the pros and cons of different models. I was debating between the Westone and ACS Pro 17 ear plugs to protect my hearing at concerts. Seems like he has more flexible hours than some other audiologists offices I called. Got me in the next day. I highly recommend. He’s located near Balboa off the 805.

I had an fantastic experience working with Dr. King.
I needed custom musician’s ear plugs for Djing, and decided to contact Dr. King after reading the other Unilocal reviews. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and was committed to making sure I was satisfied with the product throughout the process. The fitting was expertly done, and the plugs feel great. And the sound — wow! Shockingly clear compared to the over-​the-​counter foam ones I’d been using. Now I can really enjoy the music without worrying about the damage those super loud club systems can cause to my hearing.
I definitely recommend Dr. King for all musicians, DJs, and club-​goers out there.

About a year ago I ordered musician’s earplugs from Dr. King to wear to concerts. The quality of sound is amazing. I can actually enjoy the music because it is no longer too loud. Plus I can now leave concerts without that ringing sound in my head.
I recently returned to Dr. King for custom ear-​bud headphones for running and working out. These are fantastic! They are comfortable and I don’t have to worry about my ear-​buds falling out as I run.
I would definitely recommend San Diego Earplugs & Dr. King for his high quality products and superior level of service.

Met Dr. King to replace a pair of stolen Sensaphonic ear plugs (who steals ear plugs?) and was very happy with the service! I went to San Diego Hearing Center and not only do there hours suck, they are unbelievably expensive. I walked in with a special request and that was to be able to wear ear plugs comfortably while also wearing headphones (I play Keys & DJ), after some evaluation we settled on a pair of plugs that to date have been fantastic!
Highly recommend Dr. King to all of my music friends looking for the ability to hear themselves while playing and also to be able to hear their grand kids in future years to come…
