This particular Sbarro shares floor space with a Rice King on the Naval Base. It’s one of only a few restaurants that is located inside the fence, so it’s usually packed during the lunch hour. You could immediately tell that the staff was swamped and running behind. The line was pretty long and they were out of many of the pizzas and had no stromboli. The meatballs that came with the spaghetti were white, which quickly made me decide to pass and just get what pizza they had ready. The pizza was still doughy, probably because they piled on too many toppings and tried to quickly get it out to the line. If it had only cooked for a few more minutes it would have been pretty good. The cashier kept apologizing all over herself for the wait which is why I gave 3 stars. I got the impression that this was not the norm, if it was then she just won me over with good customer service.
