Christina is literally the best. I’ve never been to a masseuse before, but I do know she’s doing it right. She’s extremely kind, welcoming, and patient. You can really tell she takes her craft seriously because of all the time and effort she puts into the appointment.
My boyfriend got me 5 gift certificates for massages by her and each one I’ve gone to has been better than the last. When you first arrive, she greets you, asks any problem areas, then puts you in this relaxing, dark, cool room. She steps out as you undress and get under the blanket. She comes back in and works the magic.
I’ve fallen asleep for a bit a few times, but it’s only because I’m extremely relaxed. Massage is extremely professional and definitely on-​point. Will spend money on her as soon as gift certificates are used.

I redeemed my Groupon for a 60 minute Swedish full body massage by Christina. It was great! I’ve had a variety of massages from your standard upscale spa services to independent therapists. She’s very gentle and ensures you feel comfortable. Her approach is very soothing & leaves you feeling completely relaxed. I highly recommend her.

I have been going to Christina for monthly massages for over a year now. She is amazing. She tailors her massages to each client, right down to the music selection (or nature sounds in my case). Every session she asks me what I would like to work on, and I always leave feeling super relaxed and refreshed. She is also just about the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. WOW and WOW! This is the best massage ever! As a health care professional for more than 30 years, in my professional opinion, Christina really knows her business. Her work is both customized and therapeutic. I have had other massages where the therapist did not know what they were doing and the next day I was sore and bruised. This is not the case with Scene of Serenity. I continue to enjoy her work and would pay any price to keep her massages as part of my routine health maintenance protocol. I feel younger and more vibrant with each session.

Christina has changed my life!!! I suffered from migraines, depression, and anxiety, and after trying every «drug» known to man I decided to go with something more holistic. I had no idea what to expect when I first met her at Massage Envy in Lakeside, but being in so much pain I didn’t really care. I had never had a massage before and was willing to try anything to help relieve the migraines. Christina was super nice and genuinely cared about me and my issues, and after seeing her for a few weeks I started to ask questions about «life-​style» changes (I’m a big guy). Her first question was «How much water do you drink?» I said I didn’t know, I just drank water when I was thirsty. So she challenged me to drink a certain amount (much more than I was drinking) everyday until I saw her the next week and… I WAS CURED!!! I suffered for 6 years and in a matter of a few days Christina changed my life FOREVER! The anxiety and depression are part of my DNA so I will never be free from them, but Christina makes life easier to cope with. Now that she is running her own business in Mission Valley, I still make sure to see her every week no matter what. I’ve been a client for a year and a half and l will will a client for the rest of my life! This Holistic Health Practitioner is the best in the world!!!

I have not had many massages in my life (2!) so don’t have much experience but what mattered most to me was how comfortable I felt even before I got into the massage room. Christina has a very calming way about her, was very patient about explaining the different types of massages and helped me decide what would be best (I went for the whole body. why not? since I didn’t really have any pain issues in any particular place) Christina explained what she was doing and why and everything she did felt soooo good. I can’t believe I’ve been missing this type of indulgence all my life. Thanks Christina for being patient and gentle (even though I had a «firm» massage), I’ll be back… You’ve got me hooked!

Being an individual from an abusive past I am very sensitive as to who touches me and where to be touched. It is hard for me to relax. But Christina is phenomnal!!! It does not get better. She is beyond amazing, she is perfect with the amount of pressure and she really does relax you. With magical fingers and such great tranquility I will be a customer for life! Christina is AMAZING! I never felt so good in my life. Never expected such a drastic difference in the levels of skill sets of massage until coming here. The place is super nice. They’re extremely professional and know exactly what they’re doing. I’ve gotten a lot of massages and none of them come remotely close to Christina’s.
If you want a massage in San Diego, I’m willing to bet you won’t get a better one than from here. The rates are too good to be true. I can’t recommend enough. I’ll be a client of Christina’s for a long time and recommending to everyone.

Christina at Scene of Serenity is one of those people who realized that she had inherent talent with massage therapy and immersed herself in that field. She clearly understands massage therapy very well. She is excellent with her assessments and addresses your current needs during each visit. You will not get the same massage twice from Christina. In fact, you may not even get the same technique or combination twice. Christina is trained in several modalities including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu and Thai. My favorite combination at the moment is firm Swedish incorporating Thai compressions. Christina is also an excellent listener. I am very particular about massage therapists because I’m kind of a wimp with pressure, but I want to feel the results and I am very specific about not wanting my neck massaged etc… and Christina listens.
I have given friends gift certificates for treatments with Christina and have no hesitation recommending her to anyone looking for a great massage therapist who will get to know you and treat each visit individually insuring excellent comprehensive care.

Christina is by far one of the best massage therapists in San Diego, she is the epitome of professional. She sit you down before your first appointment and gets to know you and the pain that you are experiencing, and develops a wellness plan to get you on the path to wellness, an keep you there. She listens to you, as a person, and goes the extra mile to keep in contact with to between sessions to see how to are doing. She is super affordable, and if you can’t find the time to make it to her, she can make it to you, for a little more money. She is super affordable and flexible with her hours, book with her, it will be the best money you will spend.
