Shell Gas Station

I’ve only ran into one wonderful woman who works at this shell. She seems to really like her job and genuinely is interested in how your day is going. Prices are expected for downtown as far as gas is concerned.
No alcohol sold here but they do accept credit card.
The chip machine doesn’t work for your cards which isn’t horrible but not amazing.

I wanted to report the gas station clerk that works at the shell on 10^th avenue & A street. I’m a military man and well dressed, not the average bum you find walking the streets here in SD. I was treated web absolute disgust and disrespect however maintaining composure and walking away to report him on here. He is currently on shift at 0126 am and I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Shell for hiring this disrespectful individual.

Decent gas station in a pretty good spot. It’s on A and Eleventh, both of which are one way streets (if I recall). You can exit from both sides (on A) or (on Eleventh). There wasn’t any traffic inside because when we went, we could choose our own pump yay. It’s a good gas station to stop at because on Eleventh, the on-​ramps for CA-​163 and I-​5 are right there, so it’ll be a place you can stop at before you head out to work, to the park, or anywhere outside of downtown. It’ll be on your left if you’re travelling north on Eleventh and on your right if you’re on A Street.
Prices are around the norm for San Diego, as of December 2015.

It is a very clean gas station. They have someone cleaning the area. Once you finish pumping gas the guy somes around and cleans the handles. Imagine if the last person didn’t clean his hands after using the restroom –_​_​_​–

What is there to say… It’s a gas station. No serious complaints here as long as the gas that I pay for comes out of the pump.
The gas station is located on two busy streets (A and 10^th/​11^th) but is pretty easy to get to. There are a lot of pumps so that’s nice if you’re in a rush. If I were nitpicking I would say that they could certainly use a larger lobby area. The mini hallway to get to the bathroom or grab snacks is so narrow two people could hardly fit at the same time. Also, the snacks are terribly overpriced here.
They do offer auto repair services but I’ve never used them. This gas station is useful for its most basic purposes, but I certainly would hope to find a nicer gas station if I were making a rest stop during a long drive.
