Shot From the Hart photography

I have been looking for the perfect work of art to put on a wall at home. That search finally ended Wednesday (08-​14-​2013) at the O.B. Farmer’s Market when I came across Russell J Hart and his stand ‘Shot from the hart.‘
I was immediately drawn to Russell’s works of art. Russell had an amazing spin on photography. Russell images are simply breath taking. Russell takes his photos and superimposes them onto tin, turns the backside of the tin into a magnet and then places the work of art onto a piece of metal that acts as a frame. Russell has patented this idea=)
Russell had plenty of small photos that could be placed directly onto a refrigerator at home but one image really stood out to me. The image was 1 photo taken from underneath of the OB Pier where I first learned to love the Ocean and OB still holds a special place in my heart. I have so many good memories of the OB Pier and OB in general. What makes this photo so special is that this photo was enlarger and cut into 4 different pieces, placed on a metal backing /​frame and made to look like you are looking out a window at the OB Pier. The second I saw this work of art I knew I had to have it. The price was reasonable and in my heart I knew it was the right choice. I knew when I saw the image, painting and/​or work of art it would seek me out and demand I take it home and this is exactly what this image /​work of art did.
Russell himself is an amazing soul. Russell is a gifted artist /​photographer. His soul, inner being and energy is contagious and you cannot help but feel that you are truly obtaining a work of art ‘shot from the heart’ by Russell and ‘shot from the hart.‘
Before I even walked away from Russell’s stand I began receiving compliments on my new purchase. As I walked down Newport with this amazing work of art under my arm I received compliment after compliment. I even visited another photographer further down the street that was in awe of my purchase.
I am so stoked with my purchase. In some cases when you drop some serious $$$ on anything the day after you might have buyer’s remorse but not in this case. I look forward to walking in my door at home at seeing this amazing piece. No matter how good or bad your day might be going you can simply look at this work of art and be taken back to this trip and the memories you have of OB.

I also find fantastic is that Russell is also available to shoot weddings, family portraits, parties & pets. No matter what you need to have photographed Russell is available to be there, he is only a phone call away. I already have a couple ideas in mind for Russell and his amazing eye of photography.
