Better than most Souplantations. They have Sesame soy dressing and wine, which the others don’t necessarily. Excellent customer service. Fantastic views from the Windows. Sometimes a victim Of its own success, sometimes there is a line out the door. The main reason I deducted a star is the soup. No hot food Should be served in plastic containers. Their bowls are constructed to look like ceramic, but are actually plastic(I asked). Additionally, although most of their soups are delicious, I feel that would Be even better with 10% less salt.

There are 3 kinds of customers you will encounter at Souplantation: Type 1: Right behind you in line at the salad bar and despite your speed and efficiency, you’re just not fast enough for him. He’s sliding his tray uncomfortably closer and closer to yours at every available opportunity, nostrils huffing with the impatience of a 6 year old. Type 2: This is the guy just ahead of you, building his salad leaf by leaf with the grace and zen of a buddhist monk and the speed of a sloth. He has no clue, consideration or awareness for anyone’s schedule and is likely to end up as a Darwin Award recipient this year. Type 3: The worst offender of all. The lowest of the low. The evilest of the evil. The most sinister of the sinisterest: The person in front of you at the Holy Chicken Noodle Soup station. This is the hellspawn who waits quietly for the right moment to attack. Striking with the timing and precision of a Cobra, they sneak just ahead of you avoiding any eye contact. Inspecting the stock pot, they ladle like a surgeon scouring every last savory chicken chunk leaving only circling noodles and broth. If I were CEO I would install facial recognition cameras in every location to have these criminals catalogued and deported. Wake up America. (Server Mike was awesome)

I’ve been coming here ever since I was a toddler. The food they put out here is local, so the food is always fresh, and you’re always leaving satisfied and full. They even label the things that are vegetarian and vegan. It’s a good place for those eating healthy and clean. Once you get in, there’s a huge salad bar, where you can get some of their prepared salads, or you can put together your own. My favorite item there is their asian wonton salad, near the entrance. They put the right amount of dressing on it, and comes with crunchy wontons. I get a whole plateful of it, and that’s all I really need from the salad bar. At the end of the salad bar, you pay per person, and then you either seat yourself, or wait for someone to direct you to a table, depending on how crowded it is. You can always go back to the salad bar at any time, you just have to squeeze between the people waiting in line. In the buffet, they have a variety of soups, pastas, flatbreads, breads, and desserts. They’re known for their chicken noodle soup, and it’s pretty good. It really helps for when I’m feeling cold or sick. They also have potatoes that you can cut open and put all your preferred toppings on it, which they have on the side. They have sour cream, cheese, green onions, bacon bits, and a bunch of other stuff that you can put on anything you want. Most of the things they have here are pretty simple, and you can top it off to your own preferences. That’s what I love about this place, you can customize everything to your own liking! There does tend to be more chicken than any other kind of protein here. I don’t even remember seeing any red meats, and maybe only one item contains tofu. They do have a variety of beans though. It doesn’t bother me, but I guess some people want their meats. This place probably isn’t the best place for that. Everything here seems very light. Although, some things are a little off, or different from what I’m used to. For example, the noodles can get a little soggy, and the hot lava brownies feel more gelatinous than that I would like. Also, when I got the clam chowder right when they set it down, when I tasted it, it was only luke warm. Something to note is that if you want to come here for dinner, come in before 5:30 pm, because this place can get pretty packed and the line goes out the door. Service is also great. They constantly come by to pick up your trays and plates once you’re done with them. They’re all friendly and greet you as you walk in and say goodbye as you walk out. I haven’t really had any problems in the times that I’ve been here. For less than $ 15, it’s pretty worth it. This place has good food, and it’s all you can eat.

Good, fast, clean location out of all the other plantations I’ve gone to. It’s clear what’s on the menu so I don’t need to review on food, just that this location is clean and friendly.

This place was popular!!! The line was on both sides and out the door. They got us through the line quickly and seated within a few moments after we paid for each person in our group. They sat us near the drink station, which was crowded and constantly busy, but we had a group of 6 and they asked us before they sat us down. Same food choices as always — a few soups, a few pasta options, some bread they call pizza, baked potato and, everyone’s personal favorite, the soft serve ice cream. The salads are by far the best part of the dinner and it would be nice if you could jump back in line a second time to fill up your plate with leave greens again. Parking is plenty and there is outdoor seating. Customer service was fantastic and it was kid friendly. Bathrooms are also clean, which is always nice. Patrons are all ages and all friendly. Great place!

I’ve lived nearby for a year but never ventured in. As I was starving and also wanted a post workout lunch, I popped in, hoping to refuel the body. Unfortunately, this place is a mecca if you’re a vegan or carb loading, but for protein seekers, it’s terrible. Firstly, when you walk in, there’s a massive salad bar, with pre-made offerings like Cesar and Asian-inspired(for example), or you can build your own using 30-liner feet of ingredients. Unfortunately there wasn’t a single scrap of protein offered. No beef, turkey, tofu, chicken, fish, etc. I’d have been happy with boiled egg — but nothing. I noticed there was another service area, so I kept my fingers crossed that this is where one could find some lovely, lean protein offerings. Nope. It was a palace to carbs… 3 platters of Focaccia, 3 cheese pastas and a giant baked potato bar. Now they did have a selection of soups, some of which had proteins in the name, but my chili may or may not have had some meat in it(barely noticeable). In fact the only time I got to select some pure protein, from 80-something sections of food, was the bacon bits. Again, if you are a vegetarian, this place is probably great. But for $ 12 at lunch(with tax/tip/drink), I’d expect a bit more meat on the bone. Or off the bone.

We’re always here before noon so we dine with the geriatric crowd. Good news: there is plenty of chicken in the chicken noodle soup and pre-made salads are always freshly tossed. Music could improve a bit but other than that, there isn’t much more to say. We gave it 5 stars because it is what we expected it to be. It satisfies our expectations. Nothing more. Nothing less.

This is one of the better Souplantation locations that I have been to. The restaurant size is pretty large and able to accommodate a good amount of people. Came on a Sunday night during dinner, and although it was a peak time, the line seemed to move steadily. Items at the salad bar were all stocked and people behind the counters were constantly cleaning. This location also serves wine and beer(not sure I’ve seen that at other locations). The workers who pick up plates seemed to come often enough. Overall, Souplantation is an affordable place to come eat with the family– even more so when you have a coupon. It’s not the highest quality or healthiest of food, but for the price and what you get, it’s not a bad place to come. 4 stars as this location is cleaner and the plates get picked up quicker, and all food is stocked.

This is my favorite location out of all the souplantations I’ve been to! They remodeled the inside a year or two ago and I love their new look, it’s very modern, hip, and clean! I always come here for breakfast or lunch on Sundays with my family and we’ve had a good experience every visit. It can get crowded during lunch time on the weekends; however, if you come around brunch time you can beat the rush. **Tip: sign up for their online emails to receive great discount deals! Food: I really like how they switch up some of the food on their menu depending on the seasons and availability of fruits and vegetables. It’s something to look forward to each visit. *the strawberry lemonade is a must try! And of course their chicken noodle soup! Service: can be slow sometimes depending on whether the place is crowded or not. But, the waiters & waitresses do their best to clear your plates. Parking: can be hard to find sometimes as the lot is not big. But be patient and you’ll eventually find one! Overall, I recommend trying this souplantation over the others!

Souplantation I am not a fan. Some of my coworkers and wife life this place. It compares to a school cafeteria. Nothing is really good to me just average and edible. Prices aren’t the greatest especially for what you are getting. soup bread and pizza. when co workers want lunch i suggest stir fresh next door better.

What is not to like about a Souplantation? I love their Wonton salad, their big chunk chicken noodle soup(only if they have all the chunks — wait until they refresh for the chunks) and their lava cake. My favorite thing though is the incredible iced tea. Ginger peach green tea is my favorite!

Fresh salad, w some exotic toppings like jalepenos, edamame, sunflower seeds. Yum yum. Highly recommend their corn bread w/whipped honey butter. –1 star for being a little pricey & also for not having more items containing MEAT.

So this review is for their breakfast. I’d normally give souplantation four stars, but a large party of mine sent for the first time for breakfast and I will never do it again. Breakfast, does not look anything like the advertisements or pictures in the emails for their club. The food offered consisted of the normal salad and soup fare, and simply added in a few breakfast items : Cold cereals Fruit Oatmeal Scrambled eggs Egg and veggie scramble French Toast Waffles Buiscuits and gravy Sound ok? Not bad, if everything had been fully cooked or pulled out of the pan on time so you didn’t have raw buiscuit with the gravy, or cold waffles with no syrup, or eggs that weren’t cooked in a pot and left in until they were rubberized. Those things might have ever been overlooked, if there had been enough of each item to feed the patrons in the store. No, souplantation thought it would be a good idea to have only two waffle irons, and one pot of eggs and a pan of toast at the same time. So rather than being able to munch unhappily on poorly prepared food, I and the other members of my party spent nearly 20 minutes waiting in line to try to get a plate of the soddy concoctions. We did complain after 30 minutes and several if us still hadnt gotten food, and at least the manager was quick to offer a refund of our meal and we left to go somewhere else. I will continue to eat now and then at souplantation for lunch or dinner(as long as you have coupons) but never again for breakfast. Fail.

This place is home. I can’t even count how many times I have been to this souplantation. Like literally, it would be an understatement to say I’ve been here less than 40 times. This place is always my favorite location because they have really fresh food, and is generally always done right. It’s always busy hence the fresh food, but there is usually never a issue finding seating. I don’t have any complaints for this place.

I always come hungry and leave full. The parking could be a challenge especially if mailers were just delivered or emails were sent out. I’ve noticed they’ve substituted most of there ingredients since they were purchased and taken private almost over a decade ago. They still manage to provide fresh food and drinks for cheap which is why they are always a great choice for lunch or dinner. I love their Asian chicken salad ethic is now just the«won ton» salad… The chicken is an additional cost… Or upgrade to your meal. This location has the newer Coke Machines that confuse patrons and cause a five minute one sometimes. Note, you sacrifice quality with quantity as well as service when this company starts focusing on volume, which is how they generate more revenue. Your plates rarely get cleared and most of the food choices seldom get replenished. Oh well, things never stay the same.

I really like this location. For one, they have a bigger selection than the few I’ve been to closer towards the coast(Carlsbad, Encinitas). The food here is always fresh and they are quick to «re-up» the food selections. My only tip is get here early. Don’t come at a busy dinner hour. The line could be out the door and the parking lot isn’t big enough to to cater the entire restaurant.

AMBIENCE: This Is my personal favorite Souplantation to go to! I love the décor! Everything is still new and clean since the remodel. The place is bright and fresh, just makes me happy eating there. FOOD: my ultimate favorite buffet!!! I love everything about it, watered down soups, focaccia breads to dip, bland-ish pastas, flavorful salads, and not too sweet desserts. The creamy soups are my favorite, specially the clam chowder(best ever) especially with a little added red pepper flakes. My other favorites are season: cream of mushroom, cheddar broccoli and minestrone! And my salad is hands down the wonton chicken happiness. And my favorite side bar item is the broccoli salad and cold tuna pasta! I love getting the Mac & Cheese and making my own version with jalepeno, chili flakes, and chicken from the chicken soup, yum! There is always a coupon you can use, if you sign up for the mailing list. Coupons can also be found in the newspaper. Also there are complimentary cookies up front with 20% off coupons attached for anyone to have(many people don’t know about)! SERVICE: when you come in, the salad ladies greet you and you just feel so happy! The cashiers are super nice and the busters try to work as fast as they can getting all those bowls and plates out of your way. The cashiers remember you and are very nice. This Souplantation is always packed and the food never runs out.

Within the last year or 2, Souplantations have been getting a wonderful facelift. It’s more homey and nature-like. From what I remember before, it seemed more like a school cafeteria. This location has always done me well! Usually serving fresh food, doesn’t ever seem like the food has been sitting there long. It’s kept pretty clean also, which is also a huge plus since people can get super messy and accidentally spilling other veggies or what not in other containers. Sign up for club veg! You’ll get great deals often. Parking can be a big pain here, especially during the busy times like dinner. AND there can be a line out the door too. The bf and I intended to go here with family on a Wednesday evening around 6pm, not only did we not find parking we didn’t want to wait in the long line that reached the parking line. The parking spots can be a bit right as well, FYI. Souplantation is my go to! I go here at least once a month, MMMMMMMMMMMM! Also! There are occasional themes for some months, such as a month revolving around strawberries or lemons. The lemon month was delicious! BRINGITBACKPLS!
