St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church

This church is definitely a mixed bag. When you walk in, the facility is beautiful with an attention to detail that you would expect from a high end church. The priest is very kind and nice. I observed him walking around the church saying hi to many couples before the service and he is very passionate in his homily.
However, on the negative side, it is so hard to make it through this homily because there are very few personal anecdotes to help the lay public identify with the message. We seem to be limited to scripture explaining the scripture. I hate to say it but that is pass the pillow time and with the hardest pews in the world, that is saying a lot.
I will keep coming back because of it’s proximity to my house, but there are much better masses to attend where the message is clear and relateable.
