I worked at Kitson across from them and I absolutely think that the service here is pretty awesome. Although it’ll take longer during rush hour or busy days, but overall all the workers here are amazing people and always go above and beyond. Feels great when they know your name and what you usually order, and it’s always fun to chit chat with them while you wait. Truly will miss working in the area but will always come back for them!

Awful. Was there on Saturday. It must have taken 20 min for my drink. I suspect part of the problem was that barista was getting all the orders wrong even though they correct on the cup, including mine. I was out the door by the time I realized my drink was wrong but I wasn’t about to go back and wait longer. Even the drink she made for what it was tasted bad. The pros? Nice staff, clean, convenient location next to Seaport.

At seaport with the family… In between, Hyatt, and the parking lot. One of the newer Starbucks stores with a cool look. There’s some tables inside and out. The store was clean. The baristas here are fast and we were in and out pretty quick. They prepared our drinks right and up to Starbucks standards. The pastry case was full with several other packaged snacks available. Also different Starbucks products to choose from. No complaints with this Starbucks location.

great location with great baristas who always have a smile on and love throwing new ideas to customers. I frequent this particular Starbucks location most because I work at the headquarters. baristas care enough to learn my name and some of them even know my order which makes me feel at home. wish there was a drive thru and always, am blown away by how expensive Starbucks is but other than that love this location. if in season, try the chestnut praline latte and if not, get the strawberry acai refresher with black tea instead of water(YUM)

Located at the Headquarters in Seaport Village this Stsrbucks is about the same as any other. The seating is limited. With indoor and outdoor seating available. This coffee shop seems small for the volume of traffic. Located in back by the parking valet. With am easy walk over to Seaport Village and the ocean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Always a good place to stop and grab your java.

We were delighted to find this location near us while staying next door at the Hyatt. this is very unique as it is tucked in the the back of Seaport Village in an area called Headquarters. It’s a very nice area with other shops and restaurants around. It was decorated very nicely for christmas when we were there in November. Be sure to check it out if you are in the area.

This is a great little Starbucks with a very unique interior design. Check out the skylight above you when go. We had great service and the flow was good. Not sure why others had issues, but when I went it all worked like a well-oiled machine.

SHOUTOUTTOBRYSONANDTHEDUDEWITHTHESTYLISHMUSTACHE! This is BYFAR the best Starbucks I’ve been to. My boyfriend(who is also named Bryson) said it was the same for him too! Great customer service and a speedy delivery of the White Chocolate Mocha my boyfriend ordered and Iced Coffee I gave them the choice of flavoring(they gave me toffee nut). The location was also clean, lush, and well-stocked. My morning bun came out perfectly as well. THANKYOUFORTHEEXPERIENCE! Keep it up!

I work at Kitson in the same shopping center and I think their service here is really great! I know how stressful it can be to be a barista because I used to be one. It gets suuuuper crazy over there at times because it’s a tourist populated area. They always hold it down with a smile though. Everyone that works there is pretty chill.

So, by default, chains get 3 stars. They’re mostly all A-Okay. To get that extra star at a chain, you need something a little different. Now, perhaps it’s because it’s San Diego, but this was the first Starbucks I’ve been in, ever, that had some non-corporate headquarters feel too it. Most of the times, you go into a Starbucks, they’re kinda dark, a few too many tables, just, blah. This one, with a huge skylight, lots of windows, just had a little something extra, I wouldn’t of mind hanging around and having my coffee here. Worth a stop if you need some ‘Sbucks.

Small Starbucks tucked away. Saul is the best. Great energy, fills orders correctly every time, and filled my Nalgene bottle with ice on a hot day for me. This location is A-Ok with me!

Review not about Starbucks per se. Instead, I shall review the location and staff. First, the location is wonderful. Quite possibly the best Starbucks location in the downtown San Diego area. It is near the water, in a very clean, newer«mall» type of location called The Headquarters. Lots of outdoor seating, bar height seating, and community table seating. Some people may not like that the restrooms are across the way and part of the complex(approx. 150 feet away) however because of that, they are very large and always clean. Second, the staff has always been a pleasant experience here. I have never had a complaint with anyone working here, and while in school, I probably came here over 40 times for hours on end.

Sue me for writing a review about Starbucks. God forbid someone drinks other than from a local coffee shop, right? Well this is my local go-to. Every time I walk in, everyone greets me with a smile and knows me by name and most times, my drink order. Even though I like to switch it up every now and then. I never come in for black coffee so I can’t comment on how great their beans are. My Soy Lattes, Chestnut Praline Lattes and teas are always on point. Each employee has a bubbly and unique personality. Walking in here always makes my day! Plus Saul is teaching me Spanish. What more can I ask for?

I am a Starbucks fanatic. But I am not sure if I have ever been to a slower Starbucks in my life. Every time I’ve been here it has been the most painfully long wait! No matter what I order, it takes FOREVER. And this is not due to big crowds. This Starbucks is no busier than my typical work week location. There is no reason for drinks to take so long! I typically have the patience of a saint(or so I’ve been told), however I just can not handle how slowly this particular shop operates. 10 minutes to make a Green Tea Lemonade? Oh vey! I will go to the Broadway location from now on, which is unfortunate because this is so much closer to me!

Visited this location several times. It is very poorly staffed and was always a line too long at times to wait.

This a very nice Starbucks located in The Headquarters at Seaport District. It’s the first Starbuck’s I have been to, that sports a communal table in the center of the store.( ) I came in the morning, before heading over to the Cheesecake Factory for an early lunch. At the counter, I ordered a Grande Americano which as usual, was very fresh and robust, smooth, and flavorful. I sat at the communal table to enjoy my coffee and read. I talked it up with one of the employees for a bit, who was very nice, and after a while people started to join me at the table. The table is a great idea, if you like to socialize. The service was very good at the counter, the coffee was great, but it did take a little time for my espresso to come out, not that I was upset about it, but important to point out. Oh yes, they carry snowman cookies!( )
