Subway

This place is complete hit and miss. However after my last visit there, i will never go there again. For starters, the woman helping me was completely rude and not happy to be there. Then, I looked at the veggies and all the tomatoes were yellow and some of the lettuce was a dark color, almost brown. Their veggies were all completely old and disgusting. I couldn’t stand the idea of paying almost $ 7 for a 6 inch that looked so gross, therefore I cancelled my order and went elsewhere. Will never go to that location again. Period.

I stop by for lunch every once in a while when I need something quick, kind of healthy and decently priced. I haven’t encountered any problems here and the customer service is good. It gets packed around 12 with the lunch rush but even with a line they work pretty quick. They usually skimp on the veggies but today my sandwich artists loaded my sandwich up with tons of veggies. Parking lot is horrible and small I would recommend walking or street parking.

Ok, who reviews subway right? haha well I do. The staff here is always so funny! The music here is always perfect too. They are really quick and make great sandwiches. They can’t read your mind people. if you want more… JUST ASK

Hey have to give this place some love. Went in very clean and cool. Ordered the footlong of the day. Staff was very friendly fulfilled my requests added bacon (everything better with bacon)

I picked this location over the one closer to my work because this is usually the better subway to go to. Cleaner and nicer people… Besides today. Came in around 4:30. ALICIA– really seemed like she hated her job. She was really rude to the guest in front of me. And made her sand which super sloppy. She also just threw all my toppings on my sandwich. Half the sandwich doesn’t even have ingredients on it. I used to work at a subway and I’ve also managed in restaurants. This was no way to make food, present it, or act. I might try this location again. Just not sure. The Hillcrest subways seem to just suck.

DON’T GO. don’t waste your time or money at this franchise.
HORRIBLE customer service. SLOW process. I asked for avocado (which if you didn’t know, is 75 cents extra) so I would like to taste my avocado. the «sandwich artist» as they call themselves, smeared my avocado as if it was mayonnaise. I asked for pieces of avocado and she gave me an attitude. yes, I am complaining about avocado because I should not be given an attitude for asking a simple request on food I am PAYING FOR. I was over charged & tried telling the register (TAVO) about it but he didn’t seem to even care.

Okay, I have to give whoever works here past 10pm a BIG kudos, because everyone who comes in after that time is clearly drunk out of their minds… or on some kind of weird drug I can’t quite put my finger on. Yay, Hillcrest.
Hey, despite the weirdos in front of/​behind me, the service has actually been pretty decent. I think they were out of spinach once or twice, which made me a little sad :(I aspire to be the female form of Popeye, so spinach is basically a food group for me at this point.
I thought they were open at crazy hours like a lot Subways. Went here at like 6am before work and they were closed. Boo. I thought the sign said ²⁴⁄₇? Guess not.

I came here for a quick lunch heading back to work and though the staff was nice enough, the place was pretty dirty for only having 1 person sitting down. At first I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt since there were only 2 employees, both behind the counter helping customers, but then I saw a third come from the back and leave. I understand he is off the clock, but I’m sure they should have had him do a clean sweep for his last 10 minutes, even if it was busy, the 2 employees behind the counter seemed to handle the line pretty well when I went in. I haven’t been to a Subway in a while, but when I go, I typically only get the Veggie Delight since I don’t really trust the meat they have, and for some reason, even the vegetables didn’t taste as good as I remember. I had wheat bread and it was probably the worst quality wheat bread I have had in a while. I have to knock this Subway down based on the unreasonable uncleanliness and the quality of the food. But the customer service was pretty good, I’ll give them that.

Skip this store and go to another. The staff is rude and customer service is not something they participate in. They don’t adhere to the prices
advertises and could care less. For the most part, every other Subway I have been to has been basically the same. This one is an exception.

Good service and located next to Albertson’s. I was in town for a couple days and needed a quick lunch. It was before lunch and the manager made my sandwich. The service was good, the place is clean, and I have nothing negative to say about the place.

Sandwich artist took his time. Focused on getting the order right and made sure he gave me the good toast on the sandwich and not the usual burned bread I get from other Subways. Clean as well. 24 HOURS AS WELL!!! LATE NIGHT MUNCHIES SOLVED! Give this the thumbs up!

Drunken night!
Was at mos and fiesta celebrating a friends bday during superbowl sunday. I was starving so had my friends follow me to Subway. Dont remember much but had my turkey sandwich and chips. Very much needed after a night of drinking. I dont remember eating my sub but hey i think at the moment it was yummo. Proud of myself for choosing a healthy meal when I was drunk. Pat on the back. Oh but later that night after consuming more drinks I ate carne asada chips. :/​Staff was friendly and kudos for dealing with the drunk people going in and out of there.

I’ve never had any problems at this Subway. Very CLEAN with a very sweet staff who even during busy lunch rush, will take the time to smile and ask «how’s it going?»
I dislike the nurses who bring in a list and order 4 subs and at the end of the line throw a small fit about how they wanted a cup of soup rather than a bowl of soup. Um, maybe you didn’t make yourself clear and what do you expect the poor guy to do after he’s got it all ready and bagged up?
The staff are troopers and I greatly enjoy coming here

Nice people, good food

It’s hit or miss here. But when your off your really off. I know you hate your life because you work at subway or whatever but keep your hate out of my sandwich.
Ohhh and another thing. The cheese is shaped a certain way to get maximum coverage but when placed wrong shits fucked up.

Went I went in again as a follow through with my satisfaction I was shocked that they changed me .44 cents to «toast» my sub??? WHAT??? I wish they would have told me before I ordered my sandwich. I was never charged before. Must be a new policy with subway. Sad.

I guess Patty is no longer at Subway, YEAH! I have not been there since the re model but look forward to checking it out. Glad to hear there are positive changes going on. Good job guys.

Lately I’ve been shying away from reviewing chain spots, because I think: «What’s the point? They’re all the same.»
But I’ll make an exception for the Hillcrest Subway. I didn’t want to waste an opportunity to badmouth this place.
I was sent here to fetch a bunch of subs for a lunch meeting. I was the only person there (already a bad sign). It took something like 30 min to prep our grilled chicken sandwiches (not exactly fast food).
The worst part: These sandwiches tasted like day-​old used condoms.
Synthetic polymer + spermicidal chemicals! Does a body good!
(I should also mention that this particular establishment has roaches. In that regard, the name seems very appropriate.)
I’m crossing my fingers that this Subway goes out of business real soon. That’ll spare me from any further agony.

The idiot mexican guy who works there on Sundays tries everytime i enter the building to ruin my day. I dont even want to go in there when he is there. I love the seafood sub. They have issues with coupons so beware.
