I have been going to this cleaner for over 6 years, the owner is really nice and always takes good care of our families dry cleaning. Unlike many of the other reviewers, I feel like the prices are very reasonable especially for work clothes and button downs. Giving small Business owners 1 star reviews because you are too cheap to pay for dry cleaning is ridiculous, maybe ask for pricing before getting your dry cleaning done next time, especially if $ 4 a shirt is going to break your bank. Owner is great, service is great. Would recommend.

Thanks for ripping me off. Never ever will I go back. Went here on accident. Tried to get a competitor coupon, didn’t work. $ 38 for 7 items. What a joke. Ripped one of my shirts, they patched it, don’t care. Bye guys. Hope you’re out of business before my friends can get ripped off too.

I have been going here for two years. I found it convenient as it was next to Von’s. Today the owner/manager tried to charge me $ 6.95 per cotton shirt that I usually pay $ 2.75. He said they decide what service to provide based on the shirt. This is absurd I countered. I had brought these same shirts here for two years and no one had ever suggested there was anything different about them today. He gave me the difference in cash and told me I was welcome to go to another cleaner. I told him politely that he was using an unacceptable business practices and would be happy to use a more honest cleaner that wanted my business. This company will soon be out of business if they keep this up.

I have been using this cleaner for many years. I brought in one inexpensive 100% cotton long sleeve casual shirt. I normally don’t mind the high washing price of $ 2.50 per shirt but the owner handed me a bill for $ 6.25 and I was outraged. He said all customers now pay more for hand ironing and that not all cotton shirts are the same. I told him he was fired and he refused to charge me $ 2.50 because of the extra labor which I did not agree on. I found several good cleaners in PB for $ 1.25 per shirt. I noticed his racks were half empty and I assume he is loosing customers. I feel sorry that his business is probably not doing well but it is wrong to raise the prices to cover his economic problems when there are so many choices. I will not return and neither will my family and friends I told this to.

I’ve tried cleaners all over Pacific Beach and La Jolla and still haven’t found«the one» but Sunny Fresh Cleaners is pretty good. The woman who’s always at Sunny’s is very nice. Service is pretty standard as far as dry cleaning goes. The one thing that they do differently is make you pay up front. I wasn’t a fan of this at first but now kind of like it because I can just pickup my stuff and run, which is nice when you’re on-the-go.

Another unfortunate situation. My friend goes there this weekend and gets charged 10 bucks for a shirt and stain. The little chick who works there is an idiot.

So I’m giving Sunny Fresh Cleaners one star. I was thinking about giving it two, because they DO do a god job of getting stains out, or because my family has used them since the 80’s, or because when the guy(the dad/husband?) who works there sees my last name on a pick up, he is really nice and asks about my mom. But I can’t give them any more than one star because, twice, I called to get prices(the first time was for dry cleaning one pair of slacks and laundering one shirt, and the second time was for my down comforter cover thing(is it a duvet?)). Both times after getting the quote over the phone, I thought«Cool. that’s reasonable.» and drove on down the road to hand over my stinky textiles like it was cotton-filled limburger. And of course I didn’t ask them to verify the price when I dropped off the stuff because who does that? Well, I do that now, and it’s because of the Sunny Fresh family. Both times when I picked up my clothes, the price was higher than what I was quoted. When I told them that they told me a lower price over the phone, they didn’t give me the lower quoted price, they didn’t apologize, and they didn’t do anything more than look at me with a blank look on their faces as smoke came out of my ears and my face turned red. Thankfully, there’s a Starbucks right next to it so I could douse the flames in my frontal lobe with a frappucino. Because I’m so manly with my duvet and a frappucino. I might as well have a frickin Bichon Frise tucked under my arm. This may not be a big deal to some people, but it’s huge to me. You can lie to my clothes, but don’t lie to me. BOOOOOOOOOOOO Sunny Fresh.

Fast, quick, gets stains out of my clothes that I spill things on when drunk. Reasonable prices, convenient, and open with good hours in which you can actually get there. Enough said. When I lived in PB this was an easy stop for me on the way home from my twice weekly trips to Vons for groceries, Starbucks or Jamba Juice.
