Stopped in here while I was in San Diego. The girl helping us, Tatiana, provided such great customer service and really made us feel welcome. She fixed a great hookah, and the coffee was amazing. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town.

It is really nice place to spend time with your friends. It is away from crowd but you are still in the middle of gaslamp. There are lovely girls who always welcome you with a huge smile. Tea pots and burmas are my favourite ones. You should try too.

I usually get great service here, honestly this is the best coffee shop in SD. Last time I was there my service was rancid. The order was screwed up. I just wanted a coffee. Somehow I got a Latte. At a higher price!!! I had asked for half caf half decaf and I was given full caffeinated coffee. When I complained she said you wanted a half & half. I haven’t slept in about 18 hours a result. Losing serious work and at least 100 bucks. Lamest experience at best coffee shop in the county. Bizarre.

Got here, small selection slow service and bowl help rushed some how … Not really happy but it doesn’t help that I used to work at a lounge and I know what I should be paying for

Dropped in for a coffee. Kudos to them for having soy, although my fiancé didn’t like Mexican Mocha, said it was to chemically created. The charming counter woman exchanged her coffee for another at no charge and came out to check if it was okay. We appreciated her friendliness and pleasant nature, None of the food items were vegan, however.

I stumbled upon this gem about 3 weeks ago and I am in love. As a hookah connoisseur and enthusiast, I love checking places all over San Diego. This place is by far has the best vibes with their music, their service, their décor and outdoor seating. I like that their location is on a quieter street in gaslamp so it’s great to meet up and discuss my life’s great choices PRO: They have natural coals. They are from turkey which is unlike their competition who are all from Iraq. It is also the cheapest spot in gaslamp: $ 15. They have free water too. CON: they need more flavors, maybe some fumari tobacco. So glad to have found you guys in gaslamp and love being there almost every Saturday!

The spumoni gelato is the best, when I’m in town I have to get it at least twice before I leave. The other flavors are super yummy and the baked good are pretty good too.

Super cute place! Love the decorations and overall atmosphere. One star because I’m picky with my coffee and the Barista made me the most disgusting iced white chocolate drink I’ve ever tasted. She had no idea what she was doing. Pure syrup, no coffee. Also not enough ice, so the drink was warm. Will never go back!

Great place and friendly service. The coffee is absolutely delicious. Try the casablanca if you want something sweet. The humidor has a decent selection but is kept a little dryer than i had hoped(60−62% humidity) great prices though considering the other shops around charge an arm and a leg. Fairly small but also great value hookah menu. The snacks also looked amazing although i did not try one. Definitely the best place in this area. Definitely give it a shot! You won’t be disappointed

Stopped here for an after dinner treat and though it was a neat place. They sell gelato, baked good and pastries as well as coffee. They also sell cigars and looks like they offer Hookah if your into that sort of thing. I opted for a mocha milkshake an it was really good with a fresh shot of espresso mixed with chocolate gelato, yumm. The staff was really nice and if i was in the neighborhood again i would stop by.

This is a coffee, hookah, cigars, gelato, and desert place. They’re open late, they have a good vibe, a study spot, it’s great and quiet(background downtown noise) chill it spot. I like sitting with my book with a hot chocolate and a cigar and spend hours there. I’ve had tried several types of coffee here and it’s the reason I don’t give it a 5 star, the coffee is effectively horrible. But everything I like!

This place is ok. We stopped here to grab some gelato. However they offer a variety of stuff including baked goods like brownies, macaroons, biscotti and baklava. Tabac is a coffee shop that has a cigar selection that is fairly good. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Kinda a chill place. There are hookahs available too. Prices for the gelato is comparable to other places. The selection of flavors was less than 10 flavors. Shakes are available. The staff is super friendly. Worth checking out a second time.

I love that there is an outside area to smoke hookah and cigars, so the smell isn’t overwhelming. The cigars are moderately priced. The coffee was good but not amazing, my boyfriend loved it. The hookah had a good taste, it wasn’t too much. It is a small corner shop, we ran across it while walking back to our hotel, and fell in love! We definitely wish that there was a Tabac in the Los Angeles area. It was open late, we left around 1:30am and they were still open but it was on Valentines Day weekend so maybe they had special hours. The worker was great! Very friendly and helpful. the wifi was kind of slow.

Stopped by this place around night time with my boyfriend since it was walking distance from our hotel and we were in the mood for gelato. It’s a cute little corner place that sells desserts, gelato, hookah, and an assortment of cigars. We tried the gelato and it was so delicious! We only had a small serving and it was the perfect size since it was so creamy. Must try the pistachio here!

It’s one of those«lived in» personality places. A solid group of regulars who know each other and are comfortable spending time with each other, yet completely welcoming to new comers. The coffee simply cannot be beat anywhere in San Diego.

This place is awesome. Coffee, teas, and cigars. They have gelato frappes! I just wish they sold local coffee or local tea. I was looking for souvenirs.

This hookah lounge has delicious specialty espresso drinks and a great selection of hookah flavors to choose from. I am a regular customer visiting 2 to 5 times a week, traveling from east county to downtown just for tabac’s great atmosphere. The employees are friendly and courteous, which helps turn a hour night into an all night visit. Any night of the week. Depending on a day or night visit, you’ll meet Ashley, Sara, Megan, or Seren all of whom are awesome hookah-tenders /baristas. I highly recommend checking this place out

I always have an awesome, relaxing time at this hookah place. It’s in a really great corner of gaslamp, and there is outdoor seating which I LOVE, because people watching after hours is thoroughly amusing! It’s a bit away from the main crowds, but you still get a good amount of drunk passerbys… so fun! There is also indoor seating as well, since outside is pretty small and sometimes a bit congested. I’ve been here in a group from 3 to 5 people and we were always tucked away in a little table outside… I like that spot. Along with hookah, they serve coffee/coffee beverages, pastries, and gelato. I ordered coconut mint hookah and a dirty chai latte. I think it was the best hookah I’ve ever had! Usually hookah flavors get a little burny at times, but this one was constantly refreshing and minty. Really easy for me to smoke, and I don’t do it often so I’m pretty noob about it. They also have self serve water and water cups, which is so necessary and wonderful that they do because I get really thirsty. I think the pricing of this place is pretty cheap, $ 15 dollars for a hookah and free refills… I can never finish the entire thing anyways. The dirty chai was good too, not particularly memorable or notable… but I was just happy to get my fix because I was craving one all day. It smelled so good and cinnamon-y…like Fall. Service here is really awesome! So far everyone I’ve encountered has been super nice and accommodating, more than happy to help. The girl working last time I went is really sweet and chatty, and gave us the great hookah flavor recommendation. I definitely will return next time I’m in the area and looking for a place to relax and chat with friends!
