Hit and miss on there food. I come here once n awhile n the last time was the worst. Yuck the fish was old n taste like paper. I’m going back too fish mart, they always have fresh fish. They also need numbers for the customers. If u don’t speak spanish, u get passed up.

Usually I like this place for there fish tacos but last times I have gone they keep getting smaller. The service provided by blond girl is lacking, once had to wait even after my food was ready just for a consume. I think I’m going to start looking for new fish taco place.

I go to El Paisa(Sinaloa Style Marisco’s) only for a couple of items since it is convenient & close to home. I’ll go for the Aguachile, Smoked Marlin Tacos, and Clam/Oyster Coctel when I’m Hungover & don’t want to drive far. When I should be driving another ½ Mile to Marisco’s German(San Felipe style) that is much Better. El Paisa is not the Best Seafood Truck out there. It’s good though, as in Average Good. There are better in the South Bay like El Pescador, Marisco’s German down the street, & El Prieto.

The food is fresh and it’s cheap. The only thing I have to add that hasn’t already been said is that they use way too much mayonnaise. Can I get some shrimp to go with this mayo taco please? Not all mayo taste the same either. There’s the creamy kind of mayo you usually get in a fish taco, or the type you might get mixed in a sushi roll, then there’s the kind you get on a hamburger. This taste like hamburger mayo. I’m giving this truck 3 stars for now until I go back and try another order without mayo.

Whenever I need a quick lunch, this is the place to go. Where else can you go for a really good fish taco at a cost of only a buck. But what surprises me the most is how quick the service is for a traveling taco shop on wheels. I’ll keep this short and simple… this meals on wheels rocks!

Some say the have been everywhere for fish tacos and say this place has the best of the best. Well I can’t say they are the best because when I want a true fish/shrimp taco I will go down south and have some from one of many places TJ or Ensenada for some real tacos. El Paisa recently switched from lettuce to cabbage on their tacos. It never made any sense to me why they used lettuce instead of cabbage but I guess it’s their receipt. Their tacos are ok but nothing special and nothing like u get down south. What I do like about this place is their agua chile. It is good, not to sour and at a good price. Overall the food here is ok but that is coming from someone that goes down south for real Mexican fast food because I have found nothing that compares to TJ food. But when I am in the mood for mariscos and do not want to cross the border I usually come here. mariscos and do not want to cross the border I usually come here.

Certain meals cannot be duplicated, they can come close, but not quite the same. Some examples are Philly cheesesteaks, anything grandma makes, TJ tacos and fish tacos. In regards to fish tacos, the best ones in San Diego are not in restaurants, but in roach coaches. If you see one with«Marisco’s» on the side chances are you are gonna get a very good fish taco and a low price. The El Paisa roach coach has the BEST ot the best. I have to take away one star because there is no place to sit.
