Tacos Tumbras

These guys by far have the freshest, tastiest tacos in the area for the most amazing price (and not just on Tuesdays!!).
My hubby and I have been to every Mexican truck /​hole in the wall /​restaurant in City Heights and North Park, and Tacos Tumbras have the best food… with gorgeous fresh homemade salsas and fresh cucumber slices, red onion slices and radishes to make your food even better.
While your waiting they might have the free bean soup flavoured with pork to keep your tummy occupied as you wait, this stuff is to die for and its only beans (what do they do to it to make it taste that good?)… and the family are all so sweet and generous.

Surprisingly one of the better taco trucks. Straight up TJ style dollar tacos with fresh guacamole. The guy even gave out free bean soup. For a simple man, it didn’t need any garnish. It’s a truck so location will change. Tonight, it’s on Felton and El Cajon. Found it while doing laundry across the street. I’d come back.

Four stars because one friend walked away after a snooty young female employ. I go here often and had good to excellent service. The quality of the tacos changes daily. Most of the time they are good. The best thing is they are here at the corner. If the service gets better…
