I came to Sarah with a mess of bad hair, after a stint using boxes of Clairol and getting cuts at Fantastic Sam’s, Sarah was able to fix the mop. She is a very talented colorist, and as a stylist has a nice demeanor — listens to her clients — gave me hair I wanted not hair she wanted me to have. She spent a great deal of time with my hair, asking me about the texture, how I like to wear it, how much time I like to spend doing my hair, etc. All traits that I appreciate in a stylist. I have been back a second time was even happier with the results. Trust me, I can’t say it enough if you need a colorist — she is your gal!
Nail Salon: Never had a bad mani/​pedi from any of the gals here. The chairs are clean, the equipment is clean and there are plenty of polish options.
The bonus: rather than sitting under a dryer or in a chair in the back, you can get a pedicure while your color processes. it’s pretty magical!
The negative of this salon is that it is small, there are only 2 stylists — so it’s not really a walk-​in kind of place (for hair); but I bet if you called ahead you could get a same day appointment.
