I recently tried Terri’s Nail Lounge and Spa and was pleasantly surprised. There are so many nail salons in Pacific Beach but this one stood out for me, it was very clean and the ladies were very nice.
I have gotten more compliments on my nail shape and color after I had a gel manicure than ever before. They were very nice, they made sure to introduce themselves to me and asked my name as well.
Definitely will be returning here!

Have come here a few times now, always walking in around 3 on a Friday. I seem to get in right before their rush so I would recommend making an appointment after 3:30 on a Friday. I’ve gotten a Pedi-​Mani and get out close to an hour after arriving if they have two girls to help me. With one doing both the pedi mani its closer to an hour and a half.
My nails seem to last longer from here (last maybe 4 days without a chip vs. only 2). They have a large selection of colors from a variety of brands which is nice. They focus more on the actual grooming of nails and polish vs. the «massage» aspect which some other places in PB seem to focus on which I like.
I would definitely recommend, even though they are slightly pricey vs. some nearby places. All of the technicians wear a name-​tag so you know who helped you and can ask for them again if you come back!

This place is amazing and Terri is so sweet. After my last horror experience at a salon down the road Terri cleaned up my nails and was warm and friendly throughout. I was extremely impressed by the fact that she knew the names of everyone who came in after me. She has a following for a reason! She was totally committed to making sure my nails looked amazing, and they do. I’ve never been happier with a salon experience. Also, a nod to how professional she is. Several people came in right before they were closing and she greeted them happily. You would never have known they were about to be finished for the day. If I lived an hour away I would drive to PB for an appointment here. This place is awesome.

I have been going to Terri’s for over a year now and still love it as much as I did when I wrote my original review!
I went in yesterday for a fill and it came out perfect, as usual. Normally I go to Terri or whoever is available. Yesterday, I had Ann and she did an amazing job. I will most definitely be going back to Ann! She was very sweet and made my nails look beautiful.
I was able to walk in and get my nails done but I would normally recommend making an appointment because it can get pretty crowded!

What sets this nail salon apart from all others is their service. I’m used to walking in and hearing all the nail technicians speak to each other, but never to you. Or even worse, dead silence. But, I was pleasantly surprised during my visit to Terri’s. Everyone was super friendly! My nail technician, Tammy, had a nice conversation with me through out my entire manicure.
She took her time and my nails look great. She was very careful and made sure I stayed until they were fully dry. I’m really pleased.
I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. It was absolutely spotless. All of the tools they used came straight from the pre-​packaged sterilized bags and I felt very comfortable being there.
The price of a regular manicure was $ 13. Definitely standard.
Parking can be tricky in this area so I recommend parking on Hornblend behind the shop and walking around.

New to SD looking for a nail salon. 183 reviews and 5 stars at a salon in a large city that doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg? I had to check it out.
I called before to make an appointment and terri herself answered. Amazingly sweet and glad I got to meet her upon arrival. Karen did my gel mani ($ 35) and Kim gave me the classic spa pedi ($ 25). They worked simultanelously and I was in and out in 55 minutes. Again, what? Gel mani/​reg pedi in under an hour? Yes, yes, yes. Win, win, win.
They also give out bottled water and have a large gel and regular polish selection. Definitely will make it my go to. After 10 visits you can get $ 17 off a pedi with their stamp card (meaning $ 8 for spa pedi).
The only downside is parking but you’re in SD so what else is new?

Terri is the most amazing nail artist I have found in all San Diego! She’s really nice and does a fabulous job! That’s actually the first time I am finally ALWAYS satisfied with my nails! I won’t go somewhere else for sure! I’m a really picky person with my nails, I never found anyone able to make a perfect job, either they make it to thick, or the shape is not good, there is always something wrong, but I finally found Terri and how awesome is it to be understood and to get what you ask! Thank you Terri you’re amazing! I’m not surprised this nail salon is always staying busy even during the winter! :)

$ 38 French tip gel nails. They look great (wanted them a little smaller after looking but that’s my fault for not mentioning it). My co-​worker noticed the difference of my cuticles instantly. I loved that they open a brand new mini pack of clippers and tools for each customer. Very clean. Very friendly. Next time I’ll get a pedicure and if that’s just the way I like it I’ll update this to a 5 star!
