I cannot believe this place is still in business, but the hot dog place a few doors down isn’t! I was sooo disappointed when I bit into my ‘mochi chicken’, that I had to take a second bite to make sure I wasn’t in hell! The food was overcooked to the point where it was like fried piece of «I-don’t-know-what», which was barely chicken, not to mention the sugar sap that they poured over it to try to add flavor… never again! Where in the hell can I find good Hawaiian food around here, and DON’T say L & L!

I work in the area, so this food court is a common lunch stop for me. Today my coworkers and I decided to call in an order here for a change(we’ve never tried it before). Their combos(7.95 ish) include choice of one chicken entrée, or for 1.95 you can substitute shrimp or some more«premium» items, some green salad, garlic or steamed rice, and macaroni salad. 1 person had pineapple teriyaki chicken, 1 had sugarcane shrimp, 2 had some kind of spicy chicken, and I had the spicy chicken in a sandwich. We all really liked our food. My only gripe is that I think it is a bit pricey considering the portion sizes & selection. However, I will definitely add it into my rotation when I hit up the food court during my lunch hour.

When the Sorrento office park came up on the lunch randomizer today, I was ecstatic! Because the number two choice was Chuckee Cheese’s. When we walked through the food court, I told Matt we shouldn’t eat at Tiki Hut… which of course enhanced its aura to him, and so we did. The best part about the meal: they’re part of United’s Dining Miles, so I’m getting airline miles for eating here. The worst part: the food. The chicken katsu I’ve had there before is cardboard in panko. Today, I thought I’d try something a little less likely to be desert-dry. I had Da Ultimate Moco. On the bright side, they use real SPAM. But what was that brown, sweet gelatinous goop over everything? Was that supposed to be gravy? Chuckee Cheese’s would’ve been better. We could’ve played some games and gotten prizes.
