«true neopolitan pizza». That’s what the sign says. I watched my Margherita pizza being made and here’s what isn’t true. The dough came in a sheet, not a ball, and the base was formed with a rolling pin. The sauce had spices in it. Shredded mozzarella was used in addition to some chunks of it. It took too long to cook and even then wasn’t crispy on the bottom. The standard in a 905 degree oven is 60 seconds. It’s not the best airport pizza I’ve had, but it’s also not the worst. I was desperate.

They took forever to get my breakfast calzone. Then when I got it I went to cut into it and it was all watery inside. Didn’t taste bad but was just unpleasant to eat and messy. Wouldn’t come back here for breakfast again.

Ordered our pizza and they didn’t actually put the order through. Waited 25 mins and asked if the pizza was ready and they said what do you want? And we explained that we ordered a pepperoni pizza and showed the ticket and she said what pizza? By the way we were the only customers they had within the 25 mins that day

While Tommy V’s wouldn’t pass for anything other than your slightly below average pizzeria in the real world, they make a fairly decent pie for an airport location. The cost is also reasonable in the magical realm of airport food. The crust was slightly chewy(a good thing) and the toppings were decent but sparse, and overall flavor was just ok. After an application of salt things started looking better.

Only had a few minutes before a flight, but grabbed an awesome meatball sub here. Done in less than 5 mins and it was amazing. Dude cooking the pizzas was cool and made it for me promptly. Thanks!

Would have never thought I would eat pizza this good at an airport. Had a couple of slices of the sausage, red onion, garlic & ricotta cheese… Excellent! Crispy and thin NY style crust too

It’s not Papa John’s but, when you’re in an airport waiting for a flight and you get hungry for pizza this place is not that bad. Prices are reasonable for what you get and service was pretty good as well.

Decent pizza. If you’re in a hurry this is not the place for you. With no line it took around 15 minutes to get 2 pizzas. Nice flavor. They sport a «Live-Fire» Pizza Oven. It isn’t pricey by airport food stand prices. For 2 small sodas &21-topping pizzas the total came to $ 31. They also have pastas and a breakfast menu that has an intriguing breakfast calzone! If you have time to kill & would enjoy a personal pizza, thus would be a good spot for you! :)

Slow and expensive for what you get. Meatball sub with 3 meatballs about an inch in diameter. It had more basil garnish than actual meat…$ 10

The pizza was VERY good. Surprisingly delicious airport food actually. It did take longer to cook so make sure you have adequate time before your flight but in my opinion the quality was well worth the time. I had the margherita pizza and it was the best I have ever tasted. Service was a little slow but I think that was because I was taking a red eye and it was later in the evening. I look forward to eating here next time I travel out of San Diego.

Brick oven pizza in an airport? Sure enough. It is rather good pizza, too. Real cooking takes longer than fast food. Worth getting to the airport early for easier security and this pizza, if you can. Service was friendly. Overall, a very good experience.

If you have the time to wait, this is a nicely done pizza to get before your flight. Service is a little slow, but they make the pizzas one at a time with fresh ingredients. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

The fact that I am first to review this place makes me think they just opened. It could explain my experience. The employees don’t communicate we’ll with each other. There was lots of yelling. It took 3 tries to get my salad right. I just asked for dressing on the side. Once it was right it was fresh and good by airport standards. The pizza looked good.
