I was walking home one day and came across this shop so decided to step in. Tony is an awesome barber; great to talk to and gives a good cut!
The shop is small and simple — roomy enough for a handful of people to sit and chill while waiting for a cut. He takes appointments as well! I appreciated that Tony took his time and made sure I left with what I was looking for. $ 20 (plus tip) well spent!

Haircut: Excellent. For a $ 20 cut, Tony (le barber) spends so much time and energy to make your hairdo perfect.
Barber: He’s so cool and a really personable guy once you get a conversation started. Really easy to talk to for the duration of your time there. He also offers free, bottled-​water to his patrons while they wait.
Place: It’s a one-​man shop so you might have to wait for a bit of time but it’s totally worth it. Takes appointments and walk ins.
Oh — and cash only! Don’t forget yo billz.

I’m new to San Diego and have been looking for a barber that would be as good as my regular barber in San Francisco. After trying several barbers that came close, I got a coupon for Trolley Park, so thought I would give it a try. Tony, the Trolley Park barber, absolutely nailed it! He understood what I wanted, and took the time to get it right. He did not use any gimmicks or tricks, just cut my hair old school, but the big difference was he took his time and really made sure that all was even, shaped right and looking good. I also liked the modest shop and Tony (who happens to have the same name as my barber in San Francisco). He is down to earth with a terrific attitude. As he said, «I’m changing the world, one haircut at a time.» World peace and a great haircut — can’t beat that.

First of all it was really awesome getting a time slot with these guys on such short notice. I was able to call in and get a same day appt about an hour later. I got my hair cut and it was great. I’m really particular about how I get my hair cut and he matched what I wanted perfectly and then some. You can tell as soon as you’re in there that all of the barbers are very meticulous with their work. He really took his time to make it look right. Definitely not a get in, get cut, get out type of deal.
