USS Midway Gift Shop

Located on the USS Midway, the gift shop has a wide variety of souvenirs, gift items, toys, and clothing but my favorites were the pins. We bought a couple pins and souvenir items. Nice staff, super helpful.

The USS Midway was a pretty cool thing to experience. We went on the tour and walked through the ship and the self guided tour. It was neat and worth seeing.

Surprisingly large. I normally hate these kitschy type gift shops in musuems, but this one has some pretty neat stuff and the prices are far more reasonable than one might think.

LOTS of great gifts, wonderful variety, and fair prices!
I didn’t have one specific item I was looking for as in the other review, so my hopes and dreams weren’t shattered… Instead, I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of items available! Knowledgeable and friendly staff are easily available to help with finding things. Organized shelves and displays, considering how many people come through and mess with everything in the shop.
I’ve been here three times now, and I love visiting the shop for a few minutes before I leave. This isn’t a tiny shop crammed with junk — it’s a full size, well-​stocked gift store with plenty of items to give as gifts or to keep as mementos of your visit to this beautiful ship.

This is about the gift shop. not the museum experience! Museum was great.
First, I was looking for a little replica of the USS midway for my little kid. Unless I forgot my glasses that day, I didn’t see one. There were lots of airplanes and other things, but not a little ship. I didn’t want the battle ships game. didnt want the collectors expensive one (if it was even there).just a little token of our visit. I expected to see more toy ships. Instead I saw puzzles, key chains, stickers, stuffed animals, magazines and all that. Granted this museum is not just for kids. so I appreciate the variety of keepsakes. but we wanted a toy ship. The end.
We ended up getting a truck that said USS Midway on it with a picture. The truck looked like a little big rig. nothing great and glam. I know I picked the cheapest souviner. but it broke by the time we got home. My kid is not a 3yr old King Kong monster. this toy was just crap.
