If you have to call the pharmacy get comfortable because you will be on hold listening to music for at least 10 minutes before someone takes your call. Watch out for Angela. She has an attitude and has never been trained in customer service. I’m transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy who can answer their phones and respect their customers.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Pharmacist is helpful now. Some things super cheap on sale with Rewards. Too bad you have to play the sale and coupon game. Fair and honest pricing without the gimicks would be great.

I happen to really like this Walgreens. I prefer to go to Walgreens vs CVS across the street since: 1) there is always parking available 2) The entrance of the store is very close to the lot, and the plaza isn’t as busy as the one next to CVS 3) It’s also open 24⁄7 4) It’s small and not overwhelming 5)They have sales all the time and their rewards program is free. I don’t get what some reviewers mean by saying this place was ghetto. It’s clean, has all the stuff you would need to grab out of a convenience store and more!(Leggings here are fleece lined and cheap!) The customer service, I admit, is very spotty. All of the staff except for 1 in particular do a FANTASTIC job. There is one lady who talks to customers in Tagalog and isn’t very professional. Let me elaborate on this: I was amid paying for my items when the associate motioned for her friend to come over. This elder lady hobbled right next to me and they were talking very loud to each other and were discussing some very not-work-appropriate type of things. I told her friend, «excuse me, I’m still paying,» and she just scooted over while they talked loudly! Very ratchet sale associate, Walgreens. This bad apple is making the rest of your super-star staff look very bad.

Extremely impressed with their photo services. Not only was it one day printing but my print were ready 30 min later. I needed to scan and reprint hard copies of my photos. I tried many places, even online such as target, but nothing beats this. I went to Walgreens and they had a couple little desks with scanners under on the keyboard drawer. I was able to resize, edit, and add comments extremely easily. I even got to do pre-scans which auto crops any uneven sides. The sizes I wanted were extremely easy to pick and their selection of sizes were great. The color came out GREAT and I was extremely pleased. I will definitely come again.

Came in late after having abdominal surgery, to fill a pain medication prescription. Handed him my prescription and he stated it would be 15 minutes I could go sit down or come back. I informed him that it hurt to sit and stand so I’d just lean on a bar that was about 10 feet from the pharmacy. He then came out and instructed me I could not stand there because he didn’t like people looking at him while he works… later asked and there is no policy regarding this, guy was just being an ass. Just had surgery that day, and this man insisted I had to leave the view of the pharmacy area…

It’s actually no stars. Pharmacy salespersons have no customer service, just simply rude! They don’t know how to handle pharmacy orders and give you the wrong informations. I wouldn’t recommend this place!

I love the pharmacy staff here! They always go above and beyond to help my parents and me. Although I moved to Escondido, I still make the drive to fill my prescription here. :)

I’ve been a customer at Walgreens since it opened. I transferred from CVS due to many bad experiences at CVS. I’ve been very happy. I had one bad experience with one of their pharmacist. I usually wait for my prescriptions in the drive thru, if there is no one behind me. If a car drives up, then I pull around to the side and drive back thru in about 5 or 10 mins. This day, they had a different pharmacist. One that had not been there before. He told me to pull to the side. I told him I would wait there until it was ready but if someone came behind me, I would pull to the side. He told me he would not fill my prescription and threw it back in the box that slides out to the car. I was very surprised by his actions and that Walgreens would hire someone with such bad customer service skills. Since I was completely out of my meds, I had to pull to the side but was very pisted off about it. He’s not there often, thank God, but when he is, I give him lots of attitude. I know he remembers me but he hasn’t done that again. Other than this experience, I absolutely love Walgreens not only as a pharmacy but to pick up last min gifts and odds and ends. PS stay away from the Target Pharmacy. Incompetent staff who can’t follow instructions on the prescription. In process of changing my grandson’s pharmacy to somewhere else. His med coverage does not allow Walgreens. Bummer

Walgreen is Walgreen, doesn’t matter how many stars I give, not like people would make another trip to a different Walgreen or CVS after reading my review. But I don’t care, I review everything, McDs, gas stations, airports, what not, maybe even you! Okay, I don’t like this Walgreen because it felt very ghetto, I like CVS waaaay better. Also, this is probably a more serious issue. I came to the pharmacy here for a record of my flu shots. I gave them my name as well as my date of birth, and they printed me a copy of the record that says«CONFIDENTIAL» on it without checking my ID. I should be thankful because I got what I wanted but I was also very concerned… I guess the remedy is… don’t go to Walgreen!

Was in the area so I stopped by here to pick up some medicine for my son. I wasn’t sure which would be the best choice so I spoke to a pharmacist & The Pharmacist STEVEN was very knowledgable and Efficient. Although I don’t live in the area, I wouldn’t mind picking up my prescriptions from this location just because of the GREAT customer service. Thanks for the help man!

My favorite place to go to pick up quick things. The staff here is super friendly. I was looking for make up and one lady helped me find the color I needed and helped me save money. The store is always kept up. This is my go to store, I would recommend it to anyone!

Rude. Rude. Rude. This pharmacy is the WORST! I talk to one person and the next person changes the plan — then YELLS at ME!!! This has caused many delays, tons of phone calls to my do tor, my insurance and the pharmacy. Every single time it is the pharmacy’s fault and they try to blame it on the insurance. I know this for a fact because i finally got so distraught wtih playing phone tag and getting all different answers that I actually conferenced in the insurance company in with the call to Walgreens. The store manager did not seem surprised and was certainly not helpful. I have moved all of my VERYEXPENSIVE medications back to CVS where the lines are longer buy the staff is WAY more professional and prompt. ZEROSTARS!!!

Very similar to CVS just across the street. I’m surprised one of the companies haven’t bought the other one out yet. Make sure to sign up for their free reward program since a lot of their good sales need a phone number. This place is never too busy. I’m surprised they are still in business with Vons and CVS just across the street.

Worst pharmacy around. Always out of stock on medication. Unfriendly. Don’t call back when they promise they will. Automatic refill system only works half the time. Poor followup with physicians, etc.

This review is for the Photo Center /Front counter only. I went in to pick up 2 photos that I had ordered online the day before. I walked over to the Photo Center, past the front counter where 2 employees were chatting with one another. I stood at the Photo Center for a few minutes before I decided I’d just walk over the chatting employees. One was doing something behind the counter with money(I assume counting the drawer) and the other still talking. I asked if there was anyone working photos and the one with the money snapped, «I’ll be over in a minute» without even looking up at me. I angrily walked back over to the photo counter and snapped responses back to her one-worded questions(Name? 4×6? One?). Well Walgreens, thanks to that super rude lady I won’t be revisiting your store. There’s a CVS right across the parking lot, so I’ll be taking my business there. I would really consider reevaluating that employees position. She was middle-aged, perhaps a manager? She is seriously lacking in customer service skills.

I love Walgreens. I wish they really had one on every corner.. . This one doesn’t seem to have as large of a selection as the one on Balboa, but I’m not willing to drive over there for some make-up, snacks, etc. Their cigarettes are cheaper than the 7⁄11 down the road!(at least Newports are). Everyone that works here is nice to me, no matter how nice or crazy I look. Their prices aren’t bad and if you come in after midnight, Anna is working, which is my favorite. Super helpful, always happy.
