I found Wonka Gallery through Unilocal and I am so glad I did! He does excellent work. He was very helpful giving me advice on matting and framing. His prices are great and he definitely is upfront about the costs of all your different options.
He did a beautiful job framing a very valuable antique poster for us and we have brought him several other items to frame for us and we are always super happy. His turnaround time is quick, too!

I really don’t know where to start, as I should have written this review years ago. I’ve been going to Ryan back when he was co-​owner of Art of Framing, and he actually bought the first piece of art I’ve ever sold! He’s a huge supporter of local art, when Art of Framing used to host monthly art shows, and now with organizing and rotating the art in Lestats. Ryan is an amazing, selfless man, and an incredibly creative, impeccable framer. I couldn’t recommend him higher. It blows my mind that people would go to Aaron bros or Michaels over a local business/​person like Ryan. His prices are very reasonable, and his space is full of local art, vintage oddities, and is a perfect reflection of Ryan’s unique and authentic spirit. He’s so welcoming to everyone, and I hope his business continues to thrive. Do yourself a favor and take Ryan your art/​jerseys/​photos/​sledgehammers… This man can frame anything!

His work is perfect! He brought back to life some old prints I had that had faded. Then he framed them with a choice that he suggested, that brought out the beauty of the prints. They look great! He did a wonderful job!

Ryan did an outstanding job on framed mirrors for our bathrooms. He special ordered moldings that we had seen and made the frames and mirrors to our specifications. Did a beautiful job, and a great job of installing them too !!

So happy that Ryan finally has his own shop. I have been getting framework from Ryan for over 15 years, I first met him when he worked at World Art and have followed him since he left there. Ryan is amazing at color layout and attention to detail, he is also just a great person to talk to. His shop is fun and there is always something to look at as his personal collection of art is across the board, from pulp-​art to classic movie posters. Ryan is also an outstanding figure with the San Diego art community, from writing articles in the newspaper to hosting art shows. His prices can not be beat and he can frame anything from a stamp to a stuffed animal. He is conveniently located right in the middle of San Diego, minutes from anywhere.
