Agent here. Mark is the BEST. I’d never use anyone else. He’s done all my clients properties as well as my own. Trustworthy and thorough.

I emailed the company asking for a last minute appointment with a set time and date because the inspector I had previously hired kept rescheduling. By morning I had a response from Mark saying that he could come on the date and time I requested. I was very happy with his professionalism and my clients loved him! He educated them on what to look for in the home they are purchasing and what to watch out for. I received the thorough report the next day! I am very please with Mark and will definitely recommend him to the community if Real Estate professionals I’m affiliated with.

I have been referring my clients to Mark for about three years now. I appreciate him for his dependability, accuracy and personality. Mark doesn’t exaggerate findings nor minimize. He calls them as they are. He does explain to the nervous buyer the true meaning of these findings. He adjusts his schedule to fit your needs which is very important. He did an inspection on a home I planned on purchasing was there starting before I even arrived. He walked me through in detail all the issues both code violation and non code just to make sure I was aware of what I was getting myself into. I will definitely be calling him again for future needs.

I became a real estate agent in 2003 and met Mr. Cooley In 2004. I had a couple of listings that year and used different home inspectors before meeting him. While the other home inspectors were OK, Mr. Cooley was professional, friendly and at the same time very thorough with the home inspection. He put my clients at ease during and after the home inspection by answering any questions or concerns they had about their new home systems, ie electrical, roof, cooling, etc. If a seller or buyer wants an inspector that will not sugar coat a home inspection and will be neutral regarding what condition the home is in (meaning he will tell it like it is), I would think they would want someone like Mark Cooley to inspect their home. It is up to the buyer or seller to choose their licensed home inspector professional.

Mark did an absolutely outstanding job inspecting our recently purchased home. He was extremely professional, detail-​oriented, honest, and put us at ease throughout the process. Had a great experience!!! Used Mark Cooley for a house in the South Bay. He was recommended to me by a local broker who I trust and who has used him for several years.
Mark came out on short notice, was on time, did a thorough inspection (including attics and under-​the-​building crawl space) lasting over 3 hours, and emailed me my report within 30 hours (over the weekend, no less). And his price was reasonable.
Report was comprehensive, very matter-​of-​fact, didn’t contain any fluff. That kind of hard-​hitting, thorough report should assist me in negotiating the appropriate revised purchase price for the house.
Some inspectors will sugar-​coat their report so as not to offend the broker; they’re concerned that if the report is too bad, the sale might not go through, and then the broker will never use/​refer them again. Mark didn’t sugar-​coat anything.
I highly recommend Mark, and would definitely use him again.
