I went back with an appointment for a follow up visit after the initial visit 2 weeks earlier the waiting Room was almost empty I signed in and sat down after waiting for 1 hour they finally called my name so I was moved to the inside room than the nurse tried pressuring me to buy a back brace even though I said that I’m totaling feeling fine and that my lower back pain was due to muscle pain and now I’m completely fine and I don’t need a $ 375 back brace. I guess that didn’t go well with their selling tactics so she left and said the doctor will be in SHORTLY to see you I sat and waited for the doctor to do me the honor and come in to see me but 45 minutes of sitting by myself in the tiny room no one showed up and I can already hear the staff one after the other saying goodby on their way out for the day since it was close to 6pm now that’s when I decided to just walk out and leave. I totally understand that sometimes their busy but I wish they will get off their high ego and understand that we too have busy work schedules and we had to make the time to see a doctor what’s the sense of having an appointment than if they will not honor it you all know what will will happen if if any of you show up 10 minutes late to a doctors appointment !!!

If I could give –5 stars I would .My family had been going to Dr. Malinick for many years .One time I had to take my oldest son for a second opinion after waiting at least 45 minutes after our appointment time we had brought our x-rays that the urgent care took .The doctor came in read the x-Rays agreed with what the urgent care doctor told us he said to keep wearing the brace the urgent care had given him and we were out in 5 minutes. When I got the bill in the mail it was for over $ 800 part was office visit and the other half was for a «surgery».I called up the office about it they had me talk to the doctor he said he was allowed to charge for a «surgery“so he did .I had talked to the lady in the office she agreed with what I was saying but could not do anything about it. Now after 2years of the office trying to get the money for a «surgery“that didn’t happened now he sends it to collections and it the original amount even the part my insurance already paid him .So next time you happened to go see Dr Malinick make sure you are getting charged what he actually did not made up stuff.

Dr. Malinick did a good job with my daughter’s broken leg a few years ago. He is probably just as good now, but I will never know, because he does not accept«Covered California»(Affordable Care Act) patients even though my policy provider is Blue Shield of California, which Malinick does accept. I dislocated my shoulder almost 3 weeks ago. I waited two weeks to get an appointment with him, only to find out he doesn’t accept my insurance at check-in. This is after I did confirm at making the appointment that they accept Blue Shield. SOB

Dr Malinik and his staff have been great throughout my process with fractured foot. I would recommend if you need an orthopedist.

Found this guy when I was referred to him for my daughter’s broken finger. He’s a pro, FANTASTIC with kids(he wears hand decorated doctor’s jackets w/cartoon characters drawn on them), really thorough and professional. I knew we were in good hands when we were at another office in Glendora to pickup xrays and a patient in the waiting room overheard me say his name and she shouted out, «He’s terrific!» When I almost broke my ankle(it turned out to be a SUPERBAD sprain), I came straight here instead of messing with a regular doctor. Good move.
