When I wrote my review of the poor service that I received in getting my new appliance’s, it was unbeknownst to me that Sears contracts out the delivery service. SO, I will re-rate the San Dimas store because the service that I received was very good. So the poor service that received is and was directed at the delivery. Sears(corporate) needs to take responsibility for going into a contract with a delivery service that provides such horrid service. Sears needs to hold their contracted delivery services accountable for their poor service

Review update: So, a few days later we ended up going and purchasing ALL my kitchen appliance from sears. At this point, I honestly didn’t care about their competitors, and saving money. I know that I was in good hands. Great company and great service. What more can I ask for? Thank you Joe for making us feel welcome. For educating us on the appliance, your patience and service. You are a great asset to Sears

This store just opened. We noticed about a month ago. Well our refrigerator broke, so we decided to stop in to check out a new fridge. The sales girl was less than enthusiastic to see us. She was dressed in jeans and a flannel shirt. She sat in a chair with her chin in hand just looking bored. I asked if she had a tape measure. She said yes but never moved. She didn’t have any real info on any of the appliances we looked at. An occasional uh-huh or i am not sure was what we mostly got for answers. My husband settled on one he liked. After some back and forth, we decided to buy it. We needed a fridge sooner than later, so desperation had a little to do with our decision. BIGMISTAKE! When we got home, i went on line to check the new fridge ratings, I noticed that we could have bought and had it delivered at the same time as the store one for $ 115 less. That included the $ 35 instant rebate from Edison. We went back to the store the next day to cancel our order. The same sales girl said her manager/lead person Daniel said I would get a bigger rebate from Be Water Wise for the fridge. I said thats ok, I want to cancel my order. She said fine, but they have to mail me a check. That would take 10 – 15 days. WHAT?! I protested. Another sales clerk asked how we paid. We paid 70% of puchase in cash, the rest on a card. She said no problem, They could credit our account and return the cash. One problem. Not enough cash on hand to return our money. They said come back next day, which was Presidents Day. We called the next morning to let them know we would come in the afternoon. The Lead Person Daniel spoke with me. He said that he could waive the delivery and installation fee but only after fridge was delivered. Also that I would get a bigger rebate with Be Water Wise program. I had researched that program. I told him that only applies to washers, dishwashers, sprinkler systems, etc. Items that use a lot of water. He mumbled something and said that he would give me same rebate as Edison. Basically, $ 115 credit for my purchase. I agreed. To simplify things. To make a long story short, I got a credit for $ 109.21. How that amount came up I have no idea. I finally got to talk to the manager Richard. He stated if all I was complaining about was $ 5, that i should come down to the store and he would give me $ 5 out of his pocket. Really? Thats not the point! When I called Sears to file a complaint that they lied to me, did not keep their agreement, and I wasn’t able to cancel my order to begin with, I was told that this store is individually owned and operated. They can not intervene. I had to deal with manager. So word to the wise, DONOTSHOPHERE! They are more interested in money than customer service.
