Personally I love the food, shame about the poor service today I took my mom to celebrate her birthday and I asked if They can sing to her, the waitress said yes 10 minutes later came with ice cream but alone and she didn’t sing or ask the other Serves To sing and usully birthdays they turn off some lights and sing happy birthday… After she brought the bill, personally I went to pay up front and when i was living she follow me outside the restaurant saying returns you didn’t paid, I felt so bad because people stared at me ugly and the cashier asked me do you forget something, I said no your server EMILY acusses me of living with out paid, the manager told the waitress that I already paid. I would never return to this restaurant again, love the food but the worst service and being accused of leaving without pay,

I’ve been here a couple of years ago but it wasn’t really a memorable experience. I just moved to San Dimas this month and decided to try this place again since it’s only a mile from my new place. They expanded since I last ate here, and the environment is completely different! Beer and hot/cold sake are buy one get one free on Mondays-Thursdays, which explains why it was so crowded on a Thursday night. We waited about 40 minutes for a table for two. The AYCE dinner price is $ 26.99 which is average(maybe a bit above average) for an AYCE sushi place. I don’t mind paying that price because the quality of fish was amazing! We ordered a few rolls in the first round, but decided to stick with sushi for the rest of the rounds. The rolls were good, but they’re all pretty similar and really filling. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. It didn’t have the gross fishy aftertaste and dull color of low quality fish. My boyfriend, who usually doesn’t like sushi, was having the time of his life and was even willing to try new things!!! :D He was even craving it again in the days after our visit. Well done, Sushi Show! Two complaints: 1) It was REALLY loud in there. Think college party: loud music, people shouting, and the buzz of people’s conversation in the background. Every time a guest walks in, the entire staff shouts a greeting at the top of their lungs. It’s nice that they acknowledge and greet guests, but I found myself cringing and bracing myself whenever a new guest walked in. Also, every time a table orders sake bombs(it happened 3 times in the hour and a half we were there) the servers would rile the whole restaurant up. It was all in fun, but again, it was loud. I guess this is the environment this restaurant chooses to maintain, so I won’t hold it against them but if you’re looking for a quiet, intimate dinner, you won’t find it here. 2) Overall, service was pretty good, but they could improve just by paying a little more attention. We had empty plates on our table pretty much the entire dinner and every time a server came to our table, they didn’t remove them. I think an all-you-can-eat place should be on top of their plate clearing game. With all that being said, it was still a good time and we will definitely back!

Quick, fast, and friendly. This ayce sushi spot is solid on the ratio of protein and rice. Will be back

Food was pretty good, but they get a 3 star only for their service and dirty tactics. I’m actually kind of disappointed by the way they treated us the night we went. First off, let me throw out the fact that we went with 5 people. 2 of us were mediocre eaters, while the other 3 in our party had a black hole for a stomach. We got there on a Tuesday afternoon, around 7PM, only to be greeted by an hour and half wait time. In all honesty, that wasn’t a problem. We waited our turn and there wasn’t anything we could have done. We sat down roughly around 8:30PM, and ordered 40 rounds of sushi, 5 hand rolls, and 10 special rolls. Yes. You read it correctly. This isn’t the most we’ve done. We were sitting near the bar. Once the itamae saw our order, we all saw him snicker and proceed to point and laugh at the order with his colleagues. We got our sushi and hand rolls in smaller-than-average portions. The special rolls were fine. They arrived the way it was advertised. After our second round of sushi ended, we were almost full, but decided to get 5 more hand rolls and 4 special rolls to finish off the day. We ordered more sushi. Another 20 minutes pass, the waitress finally brings our orders. Our anticipation for our final round of sushi did not meet our expectation of what we received. The last round was completely overstuffed, noticeably larger, and more saucy than all the other sushi rolls we had that night. The specific roll that I asked for was advertised as 5 pieces. I had it as my first special roll, and saw it was 5. The one they brought out for the final round had 12 pieces. In fact, all 4 special rolls we ordered were the same size with 12 pieces. To top it all off, the additional hand rolls had an exceedingly large amount of rice. Being an all you can eat sushi establishment, you’re pretty much forced to eat all the sushi you order or you end up paying additional money to pay for the things you didn’t eat. They did not profit off our table due to the amount of sushi we had that day, so they went in for the kill by trying to charge us for the sushi we wouldn’t be able to finish. Being the fat-assess that we are, we actually did finish the sushi! Jokes on them, but I never want to experience that overeating experience again. In fact, after my visit here, I never want to eat sushi again.

Definitely the best AYCE sushi place around! Their sushi is always fresh and their chefs are very quick about getting the food out. The only complaint I could have is that the atmosphere in the restaurant is loud and they are always busy so it sometimes takes a while to get seated.

It had been a while since my boyfriend and I had come to this sushi restaurant and we love it! Always a great experience here. The only thing is that since it is very busy here you have to flag the waiters down everytime you need something bc they are busy. So you don’t really get full attention. But other than that it has great sushi and the AYCE is amazing!

This is the place for you if you like a good deal and lots imitation crab. The rolls are mediocre at best. The rice was dry and they were quite liberal with the sauces. The tamago was worse than the rolls. Rubbery, and without much flavor. I will not be going back anytime soon.

Came here for lunch with 9 other coworkers and had an awesome experience. With a party of 10 we should have called in advance but lucky to us there was exactly 10 seats open and were seated right away. The servers were extremely nice to us and made sure we were okay with everything. We all got AYCE which for lunch I believe it is $ 18, not bad. I proceeded to order 35 of my all time favorite. albacore sushi and they do this really good. Two others had no idea how this tastes and I introduced it to them and boy did they love it. Calling it their favorite cut of fish. It’s the little victories that count. They also have an awesome Cajun peppered salmon that isn’t as chewy as normal salmon. Very good stuff here. Don’t forget to order green tea ice cream after you’re done, it is included with the AYCE. Beware though, they will charge for leftovers. Some places say that but don’t enforce it. However, we were told to finish ours before getting the check. No worries, order smart! Will be coming back, thanks for a great time Sushi Show team!

I’ve only ordered to go and haven’t actually eaten here … Fair warning: as soon as you open the door you will here loud screaming and loud music … If you have sensitive ears, have some ear plugs ready. 2. Be ready to scream out your order. If you are sick with a cold, bronchitis, laryngitis etc, come back when your voice is back. The guy up front that took my order was decent. Said hi how are you bla bla. I’m currently prego so couldn’t really order a lot of fish. I opted for their veggie tempura, vegetable roll and avocado roll. Everything for $ 21… Not including tip. Portions were good. He gave me lots of spicy mayo so that’s a plus and everything was ready within 15minutes. One of these days I might eat here but the wait is always ridiculously long… Maybe have reservations 1 week in advance? Oh another warning. If it’s your birthday, bachelorette or your friends just hate you and want to embarrass the heck out of you, they make you dance in front of everyone while they play a cheesy song in the background. Good luck! You’ve been warned. :)

I came here for the AYCE lunch on a Saturday. I’v honestly have experienced better. There are many AYCE sushi places now and i have been to a other AYCE sushi places but their quality isn’t comparable. Their menu images and the actual items are very deceiving… looks nothing like the images(especially the baked rolls, nothing ike the pics… i wouldn’t have ordered it if i would have known)…i’m very disappointed, rarely any lobster meat on top. There aren’t that many choices too on the AYCE compared to other places such as 101 Sushi Roll & Grill, or Sushi Asahi. *However if you do come here, I did like their peppered salmon sushi and their baked mussels the most! :D Besides the food, service was decent and friendly. Ice cream at the end was nice.

Let me be clear, this place is awesome to go to, this bad review is directly towards the waiter Young, who is the head waiter. Sushi Show has become a staple in our family. When we have an occasion to celebrate, Sushi Show is our go to restaurant. We know what to order and how much, but this time around our waiter was the rudest we have ever dealt with. We stacked our sushi plates as we finish them, and instead of clearing them, he picks up the one with sushi on it and made us pick up the dirty stack to give to him… Seriously? As we proceed to give him the dirty stacks we had put three pieces of rice which fell on our table, instead of leaving it on the table for him to clean we placed it on the dirty stacks. He then said he’s going to be charging us for leaving the rice. My mom told him those are the pieces that had fallen. He proceeded to sarcastically say, «oh so I guess the rice falls down a lot huh». Out of all the 3 years we have been coming here we have never been treated so rudely. Totally ruined my parents anniversary’s lunch. Definitely be careful of Young(head waiter)

Great atmosphere. Very loud. Sushi is good. My favorite is the Salmon Delight, which is a mango, avocado, cream cheese, and salmon roll. This time I had two. Only reason I’m subtracting a star is that 4⁄5 times I’ve been, the waitresses were rude. Once I went and didn’t order all you can eat like everyone else at my table did. The waitress watched me nearly the entire time to make sure I wasn’t eating everyone else’s food. That really annoyed me. Other than that, this place is great and their fish is fresh.

Sushi show is my most favorite sushi stop! I come around 10 times a year, including for my birthday(tradition-4 years now) and every time it just hits the spot! Not to mention how fun they cheer on for birthday specials. My favorite is the Jessica Alba and the Scallop roll but there is such a variety that with the AYCE I want to eat EVERYTHING!!! This would be the first place I’d recommend for a sushi spot! Be aware though, if you don’t tip, they ask you if there was a problem with their services. Not such a bad thing, but it did put me at an awkward spot for being short on cash.

~$ 29 for AYCE Sushi, mango or green tea ice cream, amazing service, and birthday songs playing at least one time an hour? Worth it. To start off, parking is pretty easy to find because it’s in a plaza where IHOP, dollar tree, etc. are located. I went on a Friday night, which meant that it was obviously going to be busy, but there was still plenty of parking left. Our group was also lucky enough to beat the dinner time rush. So, FYI, arrive before 6 pm to beat the rush. I think we arrived at approximately 5:15 pm ish. In the beginning, the service was pretty slow and it was as if none of the servers knew that we were actually being seated. But, we did notice that it was a lot busier than usual and everyone was seated all at once. So, the server ended up coming and we got our waters right away along with the AYCE menus. There’s 3 rounds, so don’t order too much on the first round(which honestly is always my mistake). They do charge extra if you have more than 3 or 4 pieces(according to the server), so make sure you have the biggest pieces left. The sushi quality is pretty good for the price that you are paying and for AYCE. I didn’t get tired of the sushi after the first two rounds, so that’s a good sign. I’ve probably been here at least four or five times and the sushi never ceases to disappoint me. Also, the last time that I went on Friday, there was a group of middle school or high school students and they were being pretty loud and literally disturbing probably half the restaurant. So, the server(respect to the lady server who stood up to them) actually told them«why do you guys have to be so loud?». Super funny and actually made them quiet down for a little bit. But honestly, you never see a staff member tell another customer to quiet down like that, so that was my first experience seeing that. Anyway, I would obviously come here as much as I can if I still lived in that area and would continue coming here.

After doing a 5k, decided for ayce sushi to fill our bellies. I was really excited about this place after reading Unilocal reviews and was hoping to make it a regular on my list of ayce sushi places in so cal. We came right when it opened and there was already people outside waiting to go in. Lots of sushi chefs on the side so the assumption is that you come here to do ayce. To the food, the edamame lacked salt but other then that was pretty straight forward. The speciality rolls(tropical rolls, Hawaiian rolls etc) were extremely flavorful, but I felt like there was too much sauce clashing within each bite. They were also very salty, had the urge to drink water after very single bite. However, the salmon and Cajun tuna were delicious and flavorful. If I come back, it would probably be for the raw stuff.

Although a really long wait on a Friday night, the wait was worth the good food and customer service. AYCE option is $ 24.99. All You Can Eat included a complimentary salad, different chef specials, all the sushi rolls and sushi pieces, and of course… Dessert! They have very different rolls, and across the board the consensus on best rolls were Tropical, Jessica Alba and Golden Tiger. They were bringing out complimentary appetizers and water was always offered. The customer service was definitely on point. Sushi included some of the better stuff, uni and halibut. However, you only can get one of each for dinner. Our server Bethany who I have to give a shout out for the awesome service, was above expectations. She was very attentive even with a full restaurant probably serving others also, but dealing with us, a party of ten on a Friday night with Sake Bombs. Will definitely come back and ask to be seated in her section!

WHACK. The food itself isn’t so bad but the service was so terrible, Ii wouldn’t come here again just for that. It’s pretty decent AYCE sushi, but keep in mind, it’s not going to be decadent, melt in your mouth sushi … But for the price you pay, and the variety of rolls, it’s worth the roughly $ 25 with tax and tip and stuff. So the way it works is you get three rounds… I liked all of my choices EXCEPT the white house roll which had absolutely no flavor. But my favorite part of the meal was my green tea ice cream! But again, the service. WOW. Mindblown by how apathetic they are to your needs and for that alone, I had to dock this place. … 3-stars is still good considering…
