My new go-to place for Korean food in the ‘loin. I had the fried chicken here and it was comparable to famous chains like BonChon — extremely spicy and super crispy. Definitely recommend!

I went here the other night, craving for cheese and corn. It was a chill ambiance. Theres a projector that fills up one whole wall and plays K-POP throughout the night. The waiter was nice and was patient with us. I ordered Spicy pork and corn cheese. It wasnt bad at all, my friends order the chicken with cheese, which was spicy but good, I was able to eat my while plate. I would come again if my friends were craving but nothing that I got to try again. The waiter was awesome, while we were watching the music videos playing there was one artist who we didnt know. The waiter found out what was her name, thanks man! Overall good experience, just got to look for street parking outside.

We came on a Saturday night(around 1am) and it was very crowded. They were evidently understaffed and we had to wait a long time for service. The food was decent and it definitely felt good to eat piping hot tofu soup on a cold rainy night. I especially enjoyed the japchae which was soft, tasty and flavorful. The banchan selection was pretty decent as well. 4 stars for food 1 star for service.

They’re open late and the food is good. And it’s Korean. So when it’s 9pm and nothing’s open, this place becomes a 5 star restaurant. The cheesy corn could use some work though as well as the kimchi fried rice.

Korean food on New Years Eve, ayyyyyy. I came here on NYE to celebrate my friends birthday and of course, NYE. We originally planned to meet at 8:30 pm or something but we waited a good while before we were seated. TIP: have your whole party there or they won’t seat you & make a reservation ahead of time. I ordered the corn cheese since I already ate before hand, but needed the food since we were drinking. We ordered the large peach and yogurt soju. PROS: 1. Variety of banchan which they gave us 2 sets since we were a table of 7, which was really nice. 2. Corn cheese was so good, but how do you really mess that up. 3. Huge ass projector on the wall showing Korean music videos. Different, I like it. 4. At first I thought the large size of the soju was really small, but I think we each had our fair amount by the end of the night. Both sojus were tasty. 5. Service was good despite it being so busy. 6. Portions of the food are huge! Overall, I think this is a fun place to catch up with friends. I definitely want to return to try some actual food one day. Prices were pretty good. The corn cheese itself was $ 7 and after tax, tip, splitting 2 large sojus and the corn cheese, and paying for the birthday girl, I paid around $ 17.

Came here with my friend, Michele… we were hoping to get into Cocobang, but the wait was estimated to be an hour long(wtf). Saw 707 and thought, «why not»? Crowd was mixed, but mostly Korean. Kpop playing on the wall was mesmerizing. In fact, a little more mesmerizing than the food. Family style… But portions are on the smaller side… or, perhaps, I eat a lot(lady lifter in gaining mode). What I had: bulgogi and dolsot bimbimbap. Nobody can ruin bimbimbap, IMHO. Love the stuff. Price is moderate. Portions are enough for 1 person… and if you are sharing… then, for 2 people with smaller appetites(not me).

This place is great. I’ve been here twice now, and both times I’ve been really impressed. The first time I tried their vegetarian japchae noodles which was ungodly good — especially if you’re a fan of shiitake mushrooms. I also ordered the kimchi pancake, which when hot, was amazing. Loved the banchan as well. When I came back for the second time, I tried the vegetarian dumpling soup. The soup, while good, wasn’t something I’d come back and order again. That said, I’m going to keep exploring the menu for 707 Sutter because so far, I like what I see!

Yummm… I brought two folks here one rainy night — one had never had Korean food before — this was a good introduction for her! I ordered for the table — seafood tofu soup, bulgogi, corn cheese and kimchi fried rice. They were all very good — best corn cheese I’ve ever had! Unilocalers advised me to get the kimchi fried rice and they weren’t wrong — so good, even though I’m not crazy about fried rice. I am now also obsessed with K Pop which streamed on the wall while we ate. Banchan was ok, I wish it was a little more elaborate and there was more of it. Pro tip — write your name on the clipboard to the left in the entrance when you get there to put your name on the list if there’s a wait — though it moves quickly.

Not too bad a Korean place. A little on the pricey side but considering that San Francisco really doesn’t have many Korean places to start with and this is pretty authentic(as in, run by a bunch of Koreans), I’ll give it four stars. They have a giant k pop music wall, you will be blasted with k pop music which is either 5 girls that look identical dancing or 5 guys that look identical dancing. Occasionally there will be a love song which is a guy being very emo singing and the camera showing him wearing a sweater sitting in various places… but I digress. We ordered tofu bimbimbap, kimchi tofu soup, stir fry squid, and bulgogi. The tofu soup and squid are both pretty spicy –there is no American spicy level here, just one level of spicy, so if you are used to wimpy spicy food levels, don’t order spicy food here(clearly marked on menu). The bimbimbap was nice as in, very healthy which is what I wanted. But the stone pot was very hot and I wasn’t warned and ended up getting a burn mark on my arm –_– they also didn’t give me the typical red sauce that usually goes with bimbimbap. The bulgogi was soft and juicy and very nicely done. Everything on the menu is about $ 12 – 15 so it is on the higher end(I’m thinking compared to Manna in inner sunset). They provide high chairs and has enough spacing for ppl to sneak strollers in. Overall the place is clean, staff is responsive and friendly, but the place can be loud with pop music and dimly lit.

707 was one of the restaurants open on Christmas Day and my partner and I went here since the wait at Sears fine food was taking too long and we were starving. Upon arrival, the place was not crowded at all, 3 tables were occupied and there were two servers. We promptly got seated and our order was taken immediately after putting our menus down. We received a very fast service, but I do wonder how it would be affected if the place was a little bit busier. I ordered the beef bi bim bop and my partner got the spicy pork bi bim bop on stone bowl which meant he got crispy rice. I really liked my order, I thought it was tasty but my partner thought that his was just okay, nothing special and that he wouldn’t come back for it. We also ordered beef tofu soup and chicken skewers. It was ok, but we both definitely had better. Over all, the food were all okay but it wasn’t anything special. This place gets a four for the decent food, decent price and fast service.

I came here with a group of 5 on a Sunday night at 6pm and the place was full. We waited about 5 minutes and then we were seated. The seafood pancake with the sweet sauce was delicious and tasted fresh. The fried chicken wings were extremely hot and I would have burned myself if my friend hadn’t warned me. The military pot with spam and sausage does not come with tofu. However it does come with instant ramen noodles. This dish also comes with 2 bowls of white rice. I thought this dish was kind of a disappointment since the server had told us there would be tofu inside. We also ordered the large yogurt soju and it was enough for 4 – 5 shots per person. The drink had a bit of blended ice in it, almost like a frozen margarita. Service here was almost non existent as there seemed to be only 3 – 4 people workers total. It was basically impossible to ask for anything unless I waited near the cash register.

I saw plenty of great reviews and wanted to try this place. My bf and I came here the other night for a double date. The Chicken katsu was great! Perhaps because we were super hungry but the ramen with dukbokki really let me down. I feel like you really can’t fail at making dukbokki but this place did. Soju was so weak, sake was horrid. I just don’t like weak alc. The service is a bit slow. I’ve had better service and better food in oakland. If you’re looking for good oakland korean food, try bowld or even by telegraph theres plenty! The only good thing about this place is that they play videos and have lots of korean music which is great vibes. Long story short– I felt like this place was disappointing.

Decent korean food for decent prices in SF. I had their dukbokki(spicy rice cakes) and their spicy chicken(but they only had wings). Service isn’t the best(a little slow), but overall, I had decent korean food and I’d definitely come back because the price is reasonable and they also play kpop videos on this huge wall which is quite entertaining for me because I knew like all the songs… Lol. It made me want to go karaōke afterwards. I also enjoyed their yogurt soju. Would definitely come back again!

This place was poppin on a Sunday night, so there was a bit of a wait, but pretty minimal since there was just two of us. The vibe of this place is super trendy. The lights are really dim, and they’ve got a projector showing the latest K-Pop music videos. I had never really listened to K-Pop before my visit to 707 Sutter, but it definitely grew on me and the Korean boy and girl bands are pretty frickin awesome. On to the food, we had the galbi short ribs which I had been looking forward to the most, but turned out to be my least favorite of the dishes we had. It was still decent, but I felt like it could’ve been marinated longer. I really enjoyed the soup with spam and noodles though. It was well spiced and a huge portion that could’ve fed another person or two in addition to my boyfriend and I. Another awesome dish was the corn cheese. I’ve never had anything like it in Utah, and it’s definitely a must if you like a sweet version of Korean creamed corn with cheese!

We know our Korean as my wife is from there! The kimchi pancakes were pretty good as they had a nice spicy sauce with them, but why bring them at the same time as the meal and not as a starter like it was requested? Not sure, but no biggie. I had the #51 bibibomp in a stone(hot stone is always better but you have to eat fast as it sticks to it) which was OK. The food in general so far in SF has been OK. It feels as if places are all fairly casual as folks are in sneakers and all due to the massive hills you have to climb to get somewhere. The good part is you build up an appetite. I do like that there is a projection TV here and you can see the Korean music artists. Wow so funny, they be looking like kids or something on Barney. I like to immerse myself into different cultures as it allows me to see how superior I am . If you’re driving, there no valet and parking is very, very, I mean crazy tough.

Good food, huge projector screen playing kpop and music videos, and spacious for bigger parties. Today my coworkers and I had dinner here. We loved everything! I recommend the jap chae, seafood pancake, bbq chicken, tofu soup, and bibimbap. You really can’t go wrong with anything here. The only downside is that parking is so hard to find.

I came here with a group of 7 and for the most part, we were all satisfied with what we ordered. I ordered the vegetable soft tofu soup — yummy flavor but I wish there was more substance. Hardly any vegetables(only vegetable I encountered were thin slices of zucchini)! The stone pot bibimbap was delicious with the red sauce, and the kimchee fried rice was noted as bland, surprisingly! I was able to try my friend’s ‘creamy duk bok ki’(spicy rice cake) and that was incredibly delicious! Portion size was a little small though for the $ 15 price — she felt like a good portion of her entrée was missing =P Pretty solid Korean restaurant! I would be back if I was in the area and craving Korean food.

The roommate and I ordered delivery for dinner on Sunday, September 6th. We ordered through Postmates( ) a little before 9pm and received our order around 10pm. *Corn cheese($ 7) *Spicy pork neck soup: large size($ 27) *Bbq gal bi: beef short rib($ 24) *Steamed pork feet($ 18) *Fried chicken wings: Soy garlic sauce & Spicy sauce($ 15 each) *Spicy rice cake with fish cake and vegetables($ 11), add Ramen(+$ 2) The food was really disappointing. The only thing I really liked was the kal bi. It had a nice char and some good flavor. The corn cheese wasn’t very cheesy. Kinda reminded me of creamed corn but not as sweet. The spicy pork neck soup was just salty and not spicy at all. The steamed pork feet were okay, but I found it more gelatinous from the skin than meaty. Out of the chicken wings, the soy garlic sauce ones were better than the spicy sauce ones. But both didn’t really satisfy my wing craving though. They were also mushy. I had a couple bites of the fish cake in the rice cake dish. I didn’t care much for it as it was just gooey and didn’t have much flavor. My main complaint is that we didn’t receive any rice or banchan from our meal. Isn’t that standard with Korean food? Since we had some kimchee at home, I just busted out our homemade kimchi courtesy of the roommate’s mom. Someone from the restaurant did contact me after I posted a tip, asked my name and offered to give me a free appetizer the next time I ordered from them.(How I’m going to get my free app, I’m not sure as she didn’t follow up after I replied to her.) She said she asked the Postmates driver if we wanted rice and he said no, so I guess it wasn’t really their fault. But even without the rice, the food wasn’t very good. Since they made an effort to make up for the lack of rice, I’m giving them 2 stars instead of 1. But based on the quality of the food we received, I probably won’t order from them again.

I came here for a birthday dinner with 16 people. The servers were extremely nice and accommodating toward our huge group! They made the ordering process a smooth one and were quite attentive the whole time we were there. The food came out pretty fast and it definitely hits the spot if you’re craving for some drool worthy Korean food. I’ve tried the cheese corn, bulgogi, and the soft tofu soup with beef — all delicious and filling! I also ordered a pitcher of one of their soju drunks that tasted like Yakult. BOMBDOTCOM. It had the right mix of alcohol and yogurt… and the right kick for you to want more. The place is spacious with a lively ambiance. There’s also a huge TV screen on the wall that plays Korean music videos — something to entertain you while you’re drinking and eating. This is a great spot to have a casual good time with friends!

Authentische koreanische Küche. Kein BBQ zum selbst braten, aber alles ist soo frisch, da ist man froh man hat es nicht selbst versaut beim anbraten. Auf einer Leinwand laufen koreanische Musikvideos. Man was ein Gaudi. Preis Top! Da gehe ich wieder hin
