When comes to management they are on time and they take of the problem as soon as they are informed with good The quality.

I’ve lived in two condos in the past and each had multiple managers over the years. Tammy McNaught at Bancal has been of the highest caliber, beyond compare. Very responsive to our requests and very proactive on all yearly requirements. I recommend them highly.

BanCal has been managing our property in Pacific Heights for the past few years and we could not be happier. Our last management company was a joke. they never returned our phone calls, never came to the building and always found some excuse as to why they could not take on some project. Basically our Board had to do everything on our own which defeats the entire purpose of having a management company. Anyhow, we were referred to BanCal from one on my friends at another building they manage and after a few interviews with Tammy, we hired them. Once we did, they hit the ground running. They fixed our financial mess the last management company left us in, put some processes and procedures place so we could start to tackle the ongoing problems we were having with our residents and helped restore the peace. We now have regular meetings and people actually know what is happening at the building. It is amazing how just a little effort from a management company can go a long way. I would definitely recommend BanCal if you are looking for HOA property management

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. We gave them every single bit of personal and financial information as we were interested in one of their apartments and despite having 4x enough monthly income to cover the rent they denied us. They asked for information that no other property management company asked for. Their company is shady and I am certain they sell applicants personal information.

All I can say is wow what a great team. Since they have taken over they have handled 2 major problems with professionalism and I am in complete amazement as to how they have done it. I saw a review on here last week that was scathing but it is no longer here, perhaps the poster pulled it just as they should have. It went on to say how they didn’t care and all sorts of nasty things. I should have replied then, but here goes. They care vey very much. Last year I was being verbally and nearly physically assaulted over and over and they went to the mat along with the owners to get this person removed from the building. Recently due to my physical impairment and being pretty much stuck at home, my Doctor suggested that I adopt a small dog to keep me company I talked with the manager and he said «sure, all I would need was his doctors order stating so». I adopted my little dude the first week of July and boy has he helped and everyone in the building loves him, all 3.5 pounds of him lol. For me he has well, it’s like night and day. Thank you BanCal and thank you to the owners. So if you are out there looking for a place to live then this is it in my opinion

Bancal represented an apartment that I was staying in, and they really did handle all the unexpected hiccups of living in an old building as they could. My agent, Norm, was even nice enough to filed my late night text messages when I discovered a leaky pipe that turned a foyer wall into jello. Additionally, when I was moving out, Norm helped my moving company by letting them in the property after a key snafu. I would refer any potential renters to Bancal, they a easy to work with and Norm will go above and beyond his responsibilities to make sure you are taken care of.

WOW What can I say i just landed a great apt. in the outer mission bernal area and I was very lucky to get this place.
I met with Tammy and expressed how much I wanted this place.
she was very friendly and helped me through any road blocks that would have stood in the way of being able to rent from any place and soon I was approved and in.
she was able to get maintenance out and me in asap and I could not be happier in my new home Bancal you are very lucky to have an awesome employee like Tammy and the staff at the office.
I have looked for a great home for a long time and I think its safe to say a month later that this will be it.

I recently finished working on a project with Tammy of BanCal Property Management. She commissioned me as a designer to remodel the bathrooms and kitchens in two of her rental units in the Marina. Not only was she on top of everything that was going on with the project, she also determinedly and politely pushed the project through to completion while keeping track of all the details. She immediately found and vetted a new client for the vacant unit (at a very good price) and worked with the tenants in the occupied unit to keep them happy. If I owned rental property I would hire her in a heartbeat to manage it. She is also a very nice person.

San Francisco is a unique city and owning a building in San Francisco requires what I’d call a «San Francisco Property Manager». That would be someone that loves what they do and knows what they are doing. Tammy McNaught exemplifies those qualities. I met Tammy as a member of a professional group that I belong to and she is highly regarded by the members. The always changing real estate environment in SF and its complexity of governing regulations is almost a weekly discussion. The group has come to rely on Tammy for keeping us abreast of changes and compliance questions as it relates to landlords and/​or tenants; best practices and lots of other related issues. Tammy has the perfect demeanor to navigate the San Francisco real estate landscape and I would recommend her to any building owner or Homeowners Association without hesitation.

Hands down I have the best landlord in the city! Before moving here I had heard SOOO many horror stories about SF landlords. I was dreading what experiences awaited me in my first apartment in the city. But to my surprise, I have had the complete opposite experience when I found this apartment and had Tammy as my landlord. She’s amazing!
When I have a problem, day or night, big or small, Tammy responds immediately. She works around my schedule and is always sure to let me know how to reach her when I need her. And she not only fixes stuff that breaks, but she has actually done several things to my apartment to upgrade it without me having to ask. Most landlords won’t do that with an existing tenant still living there.
I really can’t say enough great things about having Tammy as my landlord. I never want to move!!! If you ever have an opportunity to live in one of Tammy’s places, I wouldn’t think twice about it! Just do it!

I have had Tammy Baner as a landlord for the past year, and she has been a delightful change from the management typically found in high-​demand rent areas like the Marina. Whenever there is a problem, Tammy responds instantly and ensures the problem is resolved. She is extremely approachable, and she has gone out of her way to make my living situation feasible and enjoyable.
